I picked up a very large sets of unopened decks in 2013/2014 and stored them, will have to dig them out. I am friends with Mike Pondsmith and after the announcement of Cyberpunk 2077 I went looking for items to add to the collection and saw the listings for the card game. I did my research and grabbed all I could for a low price. My wife was ok with it, but was not too happy I wasn't going to play them just a long term investment. I knew Mike had not been the one who design it and asked him what he thought of it. He said it was fun, but it had a learning curve, as you said. I played the Original first cyberpunk game and Cyberpunk 2020. I also help them get the right for Bubble Gum Crises game system. Another game that would have been a great as a card game. I think I 2 of the first run decks and 3 or 4 boxes or boosters: and other desks. All unopened.
Damn, I haven't thought about this in a while. I won the Cyberpunk 2020 CCG World Championship in GenCon SoCal 2004 and was the "Rules Guru" for Peter back in the day on the website. Still can't believe it's been 20 years... crazy.
Nice review, I just discovered your channel and if I could suggest, a video on the 1997 Shadowrun tcg would be awesome, maybe even comparing the two, as their base gameplay seems to be similar. Thank you for your work!
I will put Johnny Mnmonic, the Doplhin and other Characters into my TCG! I love the Sponsor Mechanic and how each player can build a deck that suits their needs and play it differently! Night City! So sad they didn't pace themselves and run out of money. I hope i can get my hands on a starter!
So wait. This cyberpunk stuff is called 2020 but didnt release in 2020 but is about a dystopian future in 2020 and we entered in real life a distopian future in 2020? Might as well review the illuminati card game at this point cause thats just weird stuff
I'll never understand why some channels blow up and some stay small. Your effort makes your videos great.

I like collecting boosters from dead tcg's and got a single pack of Cyberpunk. It looks promising at a glance.
Cyberpunk CCG was VERY ambitious! That Ambition may be what doomed it but it's still commendable

Have you ever played the Cyberpunk CCG?
always wanted to play but it's near impossible to find people to play with
You stated you posted the full interview with Peter Wacks “here” any update on this? I’d love to read/watch/listen to that!
Never mind! Found it on I guess one of your other channels!
Nice channel
Another game where you can win by being "cool" is ophidian. I'd love to get your thoughts on it.
That's is good content
I like the look of the cards
