The 2e generation V70R is even better
still 4wd drive system more power even better chassis
also electronic controlled shock absorber system with 3 settings
which really is changing the ride quality from much comfort to very stiff. also it controls in the highest setting the throttle response gearbox shifting speed and the exhaust sound.
a R is pretty full from factory with full leather. and electric package
also xenon headlights and different body work .
also bigger brembo brakes and 18"wheels where standard.
overall this is a car that will fit a wide range of people.
this car is a automatic verision that can accelerate in 7.7 sec to 100klm a manual version that is much more rare can do it in 5.9 sec.
the R has a 2.5ltr 5 cilinder turbo engine with 300HP and 350NM
and for the manual version the torque is 400NM

Why does the warning light flash several times?
The did a Read out and was nothi g concerning but can't really remember what it was
these things will flash warning lights for no reason, like the battery on your alarm dying, low wattage to a certain bulb, etc... lots of sensors for an older car, with a digital display to match

400nm also with DSTC completely disabled and a 2300rpm brake boost launch the auto will do 0-100 in 6.1 secs
Oké that is pretty good then
400nm was the manual one, the auto did not handle the torque si it got 350, but it got more top end to make the same amount of hp.
@@Stale_Mahoney These autos made about 6.4-6.7 stock with a good driver 0-100 km/h. My 2001 t5 does 6.9 seconds automatic at 100k miles. Just needs a tune or better driver.
@@MrKushinator420 not tested my manual V70R, mainly because i dont like stressing the drivetrain that much
It's such a shame it's a slush box. The m66 manual makes the v70r come alive. Also they are not genuine R alloys. They are aftermarket

They are pegasus? Maybe. R wheels. You can get them from MAYBE ipd, fcpeuro, or eurosporttuning. Volvo might sell them but they will be overpriced. Recommend looking at a junkyard for them - I find them too often to buy them. These R's are on their way out for most owners, most are over 300k and beat up as hell, and headed to junk.

@@MightyGaspp Like I said, Not sure if they are pegasus or if you can get them online. But I have seen these rims a few times in u-pull-it yards. They may be Japan only, or custom. - this car is from Japan and owned by some Belgian or German guy. There is a link here for most of the rims - I couldn't find a picture of these ones on there though. They look EXACTLY like the pegasus wheels, just with the inside of the spokes machined out.
