If SMG TAS'ing becomes a thing, then I can't help but think there'll be a faster cheatless run somewhere in the far future e.g. if people find a way to make Rosalina ask about going to Bowser with just 1 star or similar situations
The only way I can see that happening is if they figure out how to ACE their way to a high start count very quickly. Imagine... arbitrary code execution on SMG. That'll be the day.

@@unitet-6906 There's something called balancing. In BOTW for 100% you get the armour of the wild set, instead of overly broken shit like the bow of light
@@ToadRoasted There's something called bonus features for endgame. You have already collected each single star, collecting them a second time won't give you any advantage no matter if done normally or with the red star. It's not broken at all, nobody forces you to use it, and if you start over you of course don't have access to it anymore. Just a bonus feature for fun just as cheat codes in the GTA series, but if you want actual challenge, just don't use it. It's like Creative Mode in MC : of course it is made to be broken, it's meant to allow you to test and see things without being limited by the rules of the normal game. Also would be the perfect feature to find secrets around the map. And I should have used conditionnal because, then again, the game came out over a decade ago, so not like it's going to be implemented anytime soon.

@@unitet-6906 There's something called balancing. In BOTW for 100% you get the armour of the wild set, instead of overly broken shit like the bow of light
@@ToadRoasted There's something called bonus features for endgame. You have already collected each single star, collecting them a second time won't give you any advantage no matter if done normally or with the red star. It's not broken at all, nobody forces you to use it, and if you start over you of course don't have access to it anymore. Just a bonus feature for fun just as cheat codes in the GTA series, but if you want actual challenge, just don't use it. It's like Creative Mode in MC : of course it is made to be broken, it's meant to allow you to test and see things without being limited by the rules of the normal game. Also would be the perfect feature to find secrets around the map.
And I should have used conditionnal because, then again, the game came out over a decade ago, so not like it's going to be implemented anytime soon.
