    Adjustable nozzles are fucking excellent. I use the retro adjustable nozzles, just very hard to get. Adjustable nozzle + 1 piece cylinder = zero air leak issues.
    By the way, where/how are you getting these parts?

    I dropped a dsg into my xyl a few weeks ago and it runs like a a none stop orgasm. The accuracy is outta this world.

      John H* sounds cool bud, I’m changing my motor out to 25k.
      35k way too fast for DSG.
      What are your specs for build?

      @@hiroshimascreamer5884 9:1 dsg, 28tpa destruction of god motor (16500 rpm), metal ladder piston, 180mm barrel, shortened m150 spring.
      Running ultra techs, didnt have to upgrade the mag motor since the xyl mags were able to keep up. 270 to 280 fps, using the original nylon gear box (i know i know), i have run 10k ultras thru it so far.
      Probably the cheapest dsg i ever built, extremely happy with the accuracy.

    • @johnh3733
      @johnh3733 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You cud probably get away with a 26tpa (25000rpm) motor without cooking the mosfet, but i like to play it safe.
      snappy trigger response was my objective for the xyl, while keeping its accuracy.

      John H* that set up should get anywhere between 29-35 rps. What are ROF and FPS are you getting with M150?

      @@hiroshimascreamer5884 its a shortened m150 spring i think i cut off about 3/4 of an inch off a 150 milspec, i did it intentionally to get to 270 fps and relieve steady state forces on the gearbox. I will run it thru a chrono tonight to see what rps im getting but i get the feeling its over 35.

    I like the xyl because it has a MOSFET in it

    Monty need some Perun Mosfet advice. Running 13:1 using a 7.4v and she runs perfect but as soon as I try an 11.1v it's great on semi but i only get a few short trigger bursts then the mosfet makes a beep signal and cuts out and I cannot fire. I unplug and replug the battery in and she fires again but repeats the same thing. Any help bro would be greatly appreciated 🙏🔫✌️

      Adam Bury hmm I believe I have had that in the past also. But I can’t remember how I fixed it.
      Does it do that on different 11.1v battery’s?
      Maybe do a full factory reset, there’s videos on TH-cam.

      @@hiroshimascreamer5884 yeah my 7.4v is a titan 3000mah and my 11.1v is a Turnigy 1200mah. I was unaware you could reset these things.

    I got the XYL but going to get the HLF and what fps is the XYL punching out mate

    • @hiroshimascreamer5884
      @hiroshimascreamer5884  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Around 270fps, mosfet can’t handle a bigger spring so I played it safe. The mosfet was already damaged and stuck on 5 round burst.

    • @johnh3733

      @@hiroshimascreamer5884 according to the datasheet for the xly mosfet it can drive up to 30v and 100amps, however certian spring and motor combinations can cause you to exceed 100amps, additionally the same type of combinations can cause voltage sag which can destroy mosfets if it drops below 7v (ish), there are certian practices you can follow to avoid burning out mosfets if you are unsure of how close to redline u are pushing it.

    • @johnh3733
      @johnh3733 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@hiroshimascreamer5884 i shud also mention that voltage sag is predominantly due to battery internal resistance so you would get more voltage sag from a 25C battery than you would for a 50C battery.

    Thats insane! It went really loud all the sudden...haha Do DSG builds require a lot more maintainence?

    • @johnh3733
      @johnh3733 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you put it together right you don't need to maintain it regularly, but it helps to open it up from time to time to check for any unusual wear and tear that shouldnt normally occur.
