5:48 So far the video has been quite accurate, form this ENTPs perspective, but I have to push back a little here. While true, that the ENTP focus will be directed more outwardly than that of the INFJ, it is a more focused extroversion than the one you present. Extroversion will be focused on the abstract, not the real world or people. Therefore, the focus won't be much on travel and or people. What makes ENTPs focus on people is Fe not Ne. Ne will make us focus on people in terms of idea development. But we do not even need people to generate ideas. So we won't focus on evryone, but rather those people that can give us interesting ideas. Also I extremely disagree with having a full schedule. Having a full schedule usually means no time to learn and explore new ideas and concepts. It often means, no time to think things through. I often have to alienate myself from everyone, when i have important decissions to make, to fully think. I also have moments I dissappear entirely, just because I get so excited about a new idea or concept, and I even spend till 4 am deep diving researching everything and then doing nothing but think. Then after being away for some time, I will go out extremely excited and talk with everyone about the new thing I learnt, lmao. There is nothing that excites me more, than learning new things, it doesn't matter the topic I just want new ideas like a junkie. And if I spend a whole day without learning something, it is a wasted day for me. If I spend a whole day out with people, and we spent all day epxloring the real world and or all discussions were superficial, it is a wasted day for me. In fact, if such things are prolongued I even start feeling depressed. I really really reallly need new ideas, like I do get depressed if I do not get them. That is why i actually hate traveling, it often means going to see things in the real world, and little to no new things to learn in the abstract. If I go, is because of the people i go with, not the place. I also love learnign about new cultures and perspectives, so if I go soewhere, I might be more excited about meeting people from there, than actually going there. There is also no need for having the last word, I often do not give the last word. Because Ti is introverted, and after a discussion I might go back to thinking and introspecting to see if everything said makes sense to me. If I have not think things through, I mgiht not even say anything at all. I will just ask questions and listen, just consuming and learning liek the idea junkie I am. Also Ne, doesn't have a need to ahve a takeaway in most conversations, there is no need for a conclussion or a purpose to the discussion other than learnign. So there is no real need to have the last word. We might do it without noticing, but it would be because of Ne idea generation, but not because there is a need to have the last word. I would argue the opposite actually. So it could be true, but it would be because of Ne shenanigans, rather than a concious thing.
Thought experiments are a source of joy for the scientifically minded. Sometimes obsessing with something you are curious about and delaying in obtaining a satisfactory answer can be stressful, but overall it is very pleasurable. Also, as a lover of God I acknowledge that he existed first and hence he is all that is. Duality and a sense of separation from the original oneness is the root of all suffering. I do strive for the perfection I believe we were created to be. Eternal beings of light, given power by God to constantly create and learn. Our ambition should know no limits.

Your description means a lot for both ENTP and INFJ. Especially, if both are in engage with some kind of emotional dealings. I feel very empathetic when I see such an awesome personality of INFJ get trapped with oneself rigid types of traits. As an ENTP with an INFJ mom, and an INFJ mil, and INFJ friends.....it's actually beyond wild how different and similar at the same time we are. I actually cringe and recoil with HOW they get to an idea or thought, but reaching the same goals and conclusions. Hell, I only found out I'm ENTP because a good INFJ friend absolutely KNEW I was the same type as them...and made me take the test. Needless to say, they were disappointed. While all the INFJs I know may never voice the same crass jokes, or lob the same criticisms...they are thinking them. It's like we just occupy the same wavelength at times. Not always, but often enough to be spooky.
Erik, thank you so much for this grate video, i suppose that i'm an infj and i shocked by how you formulate and working through all these accurate facts of different types! :•)
You've just unlocked one highschool memory for me xD My philosophy teacher talked about Plato's theory of ideal and then asked the class what do we think about it. I answered immediately that it seems legit and my teacher looked at me and said that I do not have to agree, it's a theory, but I said I do agree truly. Which is so funny because I don't believe in that now, I don't believe things are supposed to be some way or another universally, because every person will have their own vision of what is ideal or perfect, so there'd be as many ideals as people. And if we do change our view, our ideals change as well. I used to be so fixated on my box of ideals, but I was always trying to look above it and through it and eventually I managed to break free from that cage. It slowed me down so much
Interesting. Personally I still believe most things should be a certain way universally when they matter, but I've become more flexible and vague about how this way is. The thing I'm convinced of is that things should be in a way which will permit to meet and respect everyone's own vision of what is ideal or perfect. Because people's own ideals are more similar than it seems at first glance. You don't have to change your view if you can adapt it. I know look at my box of ideals in regard of others. I don't see it as a cage but rather as a powerful driving force in life to get closer to perfection.
