My wife and I are in our mid 50's and have only traveled outside the US twice (Macedonia and Mexico). Beginning this year, we are going to visit one amazing destination each year until we can't do it anymore. Starting with IRELAND this summer!
I can't even fathom how much work and effort you put into these videos, but you never fail to amaze! Thank you for the inspiration and new places to travel to!
I had the pleasure of spending six weeks going all around the north and south island of New Zealand. It is definitely one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen in my life.
been considering visiting the area in January, the plan was hitting a beach in croatia first . mother wanted to go on a trip with me , thought it would be beautiful there if i took her there. had the chance to travel all around Europe for months with my grandpa on vacation when i was young. been all around the united states, looking forward to traveling there
Great video concept! Fun fact: Norway is home to the world's most remote island community, known as the Svalbard Archipelago. Located in the Arctic Ocean, Svalbard is situated midway between mainland Norway and the North Pole. Despite its remote location, it has a small population of around 2,500 residents. It also houses a unique global seed vault called the Svalbard Global Seed Vault which serves as a backup storage facility for seeds from around the world, ensuring the preservation of essential crop diversity in the event of a global crisis.🧡💙
Honestly this is the first top places to visit video that has actually shown me places I’ve never even heard off and inspired me to visit. Most of the time it’s the same places, but this one was well curated and narrated. Thank you!
@@RyanShirley yes I live in Dublin. Rediscovered how beautiful ireland is during the lockdowns when we weren’t allowed leave the country. I was blown away by Donegal and Connemara
Right now I’m on holiday at Mauritius. Really a beautiful and diverse country. You really should visit! Beautiful views over valleys, great hiking, cliffjumping, mountain climbing, snorkeling. Make sure you are close to Le Morne, there is where the most of the beauty on the island is!
If you want to see the northern lights (September-March) or the midnight sun (June-July) you must visit northern Norway, north of the arctic circle. Recommend the island of Senja and the islands of Lofoten.
Ive taken the route by boat in Norway, at the very same spot you were at. Amazing and breathtaking BUT you had to go up high to see it all and to understand how small you were down there on the boat. The perspective once you get high up turns it into another place on earth. Fantastic place

@@Seasaltdays I am Australian, so Europe for me is very different to home. I love the architecture as well as the food and the climate. I found Lisbon as well as the Algarve region very beautiful. There were also some smaller towns which were nice, such as Sintra. People were very friendly too with the exception of all the phoney drug-dealers hanging around the central areas of Lisbon. The city itself was still very nice with it's different neighbourhoods, tramways, Sao Jorge Castillo, etc. If you're ever in Lisbon, go to a restaurant called A Venda Lusitana for great authentic Portuguese food.

My hubbie's a Kiwi so we got to NZed at least once per year, easy trip from Oz. I've been to every one of these places except Patagonia and a total of 64 countries so far. My favourite on this list are : Japan: for fabulous hiking, temples, shinkanzen, islands, delicious food, ultra modernity juxtaposed with ancient rituals, safety, cleanliness, efficiency and sheer ease of independent travel. Norway: for mountains and fjords, hiking, the wonderful Viking Museum in Oslo, the summer midnight sun, and the very attractive people! New Zealand: for an adrenaline junkie fix, family, scenery, tramping, (kiwi for hiking) and the glacial blue sea. Not so keen when it shakes. Christchurch, where his family is, shakes a lot. Great places! I kick off my year in Spain in Feb and plan to end the year in Puerto Rico. Now I’ll have to decide which one of these I can squeeze in between. Happy New Year Ryan and safe travels.
Wow what part of Spain are you visiting? And I love Puerto Rico! Sounds like a amazing year
@@RyanShirley going to southern Spain since it will be warmer there in Feb. Granada, Cordoba, Cadiz and wherever else I can fit in. Yes Puerto Rico is great. I haven’t spent a Christmas there with my family in a long time so God willing I will this year. That’s the plan 🤞🏻
These are all great, but if you are looking for something else, I would highly recommend travelling to Brampton Ontario, Canada. Incredibly scenic and special place which rivals most of this list. Highly recommend.
I need to see more of Canada!
