Typically you'd expect the adverb "hamingjusamlega" to accompany the verb lived/lifðu, but the quoted version is the traditional Icelandic way to share this sentiment. Several elements would change if it's not a man and a woman btw, due to grammatical gender in the Icelandic language. :) Hope this helps!

I actually didn't like this video at all. I did a solo 15 days road trip around island and there are far too amazing places than the overly tourist places shown in this video. seemed like they were visiting these places just to post on social media

Thank you for your wonderful documentary of your amazing time at Iceland. Love Iceland, it’s one of the most amazing places on earth and I loved every minute of my time there. The only thing you missed was the amazing volcano!!! I went at evening and got to experience it at night and it was amazing! I was fortunate to be able to see the northern lights while I was there too that was definitely my bucket list item, it was so amazing to see!
