    Thank you for posting this video. Looks simple enough. Oil free and whole grain, so important. As a registered nurse working in a hospital setting, I’m a big believer that WFPB diet would not only help people lose weight but would improve health outcomes and of course hospitalizations. Proud of you ladies, keep up the good work!

      💚……awesome!
      Start with spices….the basic Indian spices.
      Coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric, dry mango powder, Garam masala, curry powder.
      Super easy and flavorful to make any Indian dish.
      Hope this helps!

    Just found your page today for the tortilla recipe and they worked better than anything we have previously tried. I had just tried a whole wheat flour recipe and it was thick even though I tried my tortilla press and rolled it out. But I tried your recipe right after and switched flours to a whole wheat pastry flour and that seemed to help a lot. I originally tried to use my griddle and I couldn’t get them to puff up. How hot do you typically want your pan to be for them? We have a glass top oven.

    • @KindredVegans
      @KindredVegans  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      We are so happy you found us!💙
      So usually we start heating the pan while rolling the dough out, on med to med high heat.
      When I (Vee) started making these at first, I wld wave my hand over the pan about 8 inches above and it felt hot on my hand, means that’s good to go. If your hand feels like it’s burning it’s too hot.
      Let us know if this helps!😊

    Hi kindred vegans! So I made this yesterday and unfortunately they didn't turn out like yours. 😭 I followed every step, except I didn't let the dough sit for a bit because it was time for dinner, haha. Mine never puffed up on the pan either. Any suggestions? By the way, I love your name because I love the idea of having kindred friends!

      Hi Tatiana! It’s ok some practice and you will get there, don’t get intimated by the shape start off with whatever shape you got eventually with practice it turns round. And it probably did not puff up because the pan was way to hot or too cold for steam to build up!
