I really like how much continuity Kotobukiya puts into the Busou Shinki crossover line trying to recreate the original look of the MMS frame and even naming it the MMS 4th frame (last one used by Konami was the MMS 3rd) instead of the normal Mechanica frame that is used for normal megami device kits.
I actually got this kit a while ago but haven't gotten around to building it. I also have Arnval's MD kit as well (and built her already), since I played the Busou Shinki game on the PSP and became a fan that way. Can't wait to get started on Strarf myself!

Aye i just built this kit last week! Had a lot of fun with it, other than ít getting a bit repetitive with the build
Edit: also just wanted to add that im pretty sure the 3.3mm versions of the limb rings are meant to make it compatible with the old busou shinki equipment from the original figure line. Also from the decals, the lower line of the eyes are more similar to the original Strarf face print from the figure line-
That's true. Both Arnval and Strarf have parts designed to work with the original Busou Shinki line.
@@tapukokoro9758 yep, had to test it out for myself so I went ahead and bought an old Shinki to check it out and the pegs are indeed 3.3mm- and funnily enough, the figure came with a lot of the same connectors this kit comes with as well, so I guess they stayed true to their origin.
my first exposure to Busou Shinki are the original line of action figures made by Konami and makes me feel like Obi Wan Kenobi saying " now that is a name I haven't heard in a long time" when the Megami Device collaboration kit was announced, lol.

Good to see Busou shinki making a comeback in my opinion, i mean it's the first im hearing about it again since learning of original konami brand figures
i think it had another 2 crossover kits, but its definitely not making a comeback
@@kidrobot. As far as I'm aware, konami even canceled the new line of original Busou Shinki, one of which was gonna feature megami device's first loli cat girl.
That said, it seems all work has been transferred to an original MD kit.
