- Carrying solar panels up a ladder onto a roof is tough work. Not only is it awkward, it’s hard on the body, and if the inevitable gust of wind shows up; well things can get pretty sketchy.
So I’ve worked to solve that with the Solar Panel Caddy.

what is the weight of that solar panel? cause im only 5ft 7inch tall
The Solar Panel is about 45 lbs but that varies from one manufacture to another. For visual reference, the guy in the video is only 5ft 6in tall.
Could this device be adapted to lift the panel, with a rope, from the roof?
Richard, Great Question!!! The answer is yes it can but in our opinion, it doesn't work all that well but it does work. With that said, we have designed a new device specifically for lifting panels to the roof with a rope which should be available for purchase in a few months.

Will the pressure crack panel?
Nope, sure wont! The tool is designed to apply the majority of the pressure to the frame of the solar panel. What little pressure that is applied to the cells is designed for grip and maneuverability. Thanks for asking!

We do not currently have a distributor in the Netherlands but we can ship direct. We do have an additional handling fee for international shipments.
