A cool thing with the great wyrm fight is you can agro the squids into fighting the wyrm and taking a good chunk off his health down to make the fight easier.
i noticed that by mistake not realizing their was a a squid or boss ahead when i saw the boss heading towards the squid decided to just watch the show then finished off the great wyrm
Thanks for all the effort. And thanks for covering seemingly unmissable things , through watching this series I've discovered entire areas that I'd somehow missed.
I’ve been thinking about the lore implications of the Cave of the Forlorn; why is there a frozen dragon in there? And why the angry spirit jellyfish? Why are so many Miquella’s Lily growing in there? Why does a random Misbegotten have Radagon’s sword? In fact, why do all the misbegotten have blonde or red hair, just like Marika and Radagon? Did Marika and Radagon make a whole race of people whose sole purpose was to take down the Golden Order, but they failed? Maybe Radagon changed his mind after that? Anyway, I’m falling into a speculative lore hole, so I better stop. But for some reason that cave in particular is really fascinating to me.
Random thoughts: Are the jellyfish (who seem to be child spirits) not associated with St. Trina, who in turn is Miquella, the eternal child (they hover near St. Trina's lilies in the Consecrated Snowfield)? Miquella guides the pilgrims to the Haligtree through the Consecrated Snowfield, and these clearly include the misbegotten, since Miquella wished to provide a sanctuary for all those shunned by the golden order. Perhaps Miquella had a hand in the way this cave now is and in Radagon's greatsword ending up with the Misbegotten at its heart? Perhaps he is what connects these things.
@@henryh7140 definitely a viable theory, with all the Miquella’s Lilies in the cave. I still think there could be something to the blonde and red hair of the misbegotten, also considering Hewg and his connection to Marika.
I actually did miss this area near the Great Wyrm... I only found it after beating the game, and wondered why I never got the achievement for finding all the legendary weapons. Turns out the one I was missing was in the Cave of the Forlorn!
DOM! NO!! You’re doing it wrong! When you started out by killing that Giant Octopus I groaned. Because an awesome way to do the Theodorix Wyrm fight is to lure him in range of it and watch the two go at it with each other! It’s absolutely one of my favorite discoveries in the game. Proper King King versus Godzilla theatre.
Haha for real I was fleeing to heal while fighting the wyrm and all of the sudden one of the octopuses jumps on him and start wailing on the dragon, stuns him and basically takes him out. Before that another octopus joined the battle helping the first one... It was epic

Thanks for creating and sharing this very informative video. For those who take the time to clear Ordina Liturgical Town, 4 Ghost Glovewort [9] can be obtained by killing the Black Knife Assassins. As long as one takes the time to clear the rooftops of the archers, I found them easy to kill with the Sentry Torch on my back, while 2 handing Death's Poker. Remember to kill them before lighting all torches, as lighting the torches completes the Evergaol, sending one back to the Imp Statue and locking the Evergaol.

Wyrm tip: You can get up on that back frozen waterfall and totally cheese him with spells/arrows and he can’t hit you 😏 (FYI there’s an ancient stone up there too) Death Rite tip: Once you activate the battle, you can run back up those cliffs and totally cheese him with spells/arrows and he can’t hit you. It might seem impossible to free-aim arrows, but you can just keep locking on to him while he’s under you.

You missed something EXTREMELY IMPORTANT hahaha... but no worries... Eric is right Dom, i was just fighting the worm and there's an Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone above him
So like, the haligtree is so brutal, so annoying, so mean, that it made dom take a break from exploring it to do the consecrated snowfield, which is like apparently fun in comparison
I too, tried to cheese the Death Parrot, and after it jumped up onto the cliff I was cheesing him from, I jumped down and he followed. Me, to my survival; and him, to his death! lol
Yeah, I've noticed that players don't cover nearly enough of the map when they're exploring. For some reason, they try and finish the game quickly. I'm 220 hours in and haven't even finished the game once lol. Each zone probably takes me like 10 hours to complete. I cover every square inch of the map when riding around or going through dungeons.
In the future, please do a full walkthrough on all items (especially important items). Not everyone has done prior research on the items while playing so I had no idea about a legendary achievement. Keep up the great videos!
Turns out Theodorix gets absolutely wrecked by the giant land octopods if you lure them in close to each other lol Found this out while streaming last night and was pleasantly surprised!
Dom; I notice you still seem to be using mimic tear as your primary summon. If you haven’t already tried, which I find difficult to believe, you definitely should think about using black knife tiche, instead. She is the most amazing summon!
for any new comers watching this vid, get the ancient dragon smithing stone on top of the frozen waterfall behind theodorix, first.. do not use a summon, dont kill any crabs or the sea creatures... and do not rush in to fight him, let him spawn then coax him out, stay just out of range so he follows but wont be fully agroed, he will then ine by one fight the sea creatures and they will attack him taking most of his damage. while the crabs and or sea creatures have him agroes start attacking. if he kills one of rhe creatures and you coax him out to where the entrance to the forlorn cave is he will attack the one hanging in the rock as well as the one behind it, you can agro the crabs as well and they pretry much will just about kill him if you get them all close enough.
Just lure the Wyrm to the land octopuses. Just 1 of those things can RNG kill the boss as they fight each other. Unless he hits the beak, he won't do much damage.
Easiest way to cheese the the death Rite is to get him to fallow you to the highest point on the west cliff and then quickly make your way back down to the valley hit him with a few arrow he will then try to jump of cliff but the drop will kill him
I think there’s a few reasons why myself and the other regulars chime in on each video. With a title like “everything you missed” it’s sometimes hard to know the intent of the series. For example, how could I know if you didn’t mention something because you thought it was obvious versus something you forgot to mention or genuinely didn’t know about yourself? Sometimes you would mention the catacomb/castle boss, which is of course obviously at the end of the dungeon so it isn’t missable, but then not mention a unique field boss that definitely is optional or out of the way. I hope no one has been too rude and it’s all from a good place trying to help each other 👍🏻
The Theodorix fight is most fun when you aggro all the octopi and then aggro him and then watch him piss off the octopi and then watch them beat the shit out of him so you can come by and pick him off when he’s got like 1/4 of his health. Cheese, but so worth it.
i accidentally cheesed theodorix by leaving the octopi alive, and wearing the black knife armor set. the octopi very nearly killed him and just couldn't stop attacking them. i tried to lure him over to the statue to break it but he just wouldn't come over, even after i killed the octopi for him
