      @@PSTUTORIALSTV Sir in luminor neo how to copy and paste from one photo edite setting to another new photos like adobe camera raw edite

  • @AlexandreLollini

    I think it is a mistake to use pictures that are already finished to demonstrate the effects, I would have enjoyed the demo better if it started from raw pictures... for me the most important is productivity, and when you have out of camera a set of portraits, the most important is to choose the right shot from the bunch, but the colors are not good enough to make educated choice, so a first pass of overall color and contrast help to choose from equal pictures. What I am looking for is is it possible to set the colors of a big set of pictures, then view them fast on and off to choose the right one for deeper retouching. While shooting sometime we have to underexpose, so the raw files are too dark, so it would help to have then processed very fast, then make a choice, then go back only on the good shot.

    Does Luminar offer any high end skin smoothing options for editing portraits? Or would you recommend PS or another software for that?

      Hi Judy, for high end skin smoothing, Photoshop is definitely the best choice

    Awesome, I hv purchased luminar neo n can use tools,but can’t use portrait section as it’s greyed out,how can I enable it,will be thankful to you for the solution

    • @PSTUTORIALSTV
      @PSTUTORIALSTV  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The portrait section is only usually greyed out if there is no person in the image you are trying to edit, but if this happening all the time I would advise you contact Skylum customer service, they are very helpful and will be able to fix the issue for you.

    honestly there are some tools in here that could really amplify your images effortlessly with out time consuming ....i will definitely still use PS for deep skin retouching after that i shift over here to laminar and see how this plays out , i have a good feeling it will do wonders

      You can use Luminar as a plugin in Photoshop and can edit a layer with luminar. So it it should just be for the final look, this might be a good workflow.

    So I could edit a photo in lightroom for my tones etc & then bring that photo into LN to use the effects like glow & atmosphere etc instead of PS which I find complicated to use, this program looks simplified.

    • @PSTUTORIALSTV
      @PSTUTORIALSTV  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That is absolutely right. You can also use a Lighroom plugin for Luminar NEO as well, to make it even easier to go between the two.

      I'm trying to find the best combo for editing portraits and backgrounds, but if one software could do it all that would be great. What would you recommend?

    After the recent update to version 1.62. It turns from slow to unusable! Have tried to contact Luminar for help, but the solution they gave (eg: increase page size , btw I am running 16GB RAM) does not seem to work. Would be grateful if you can any advice for a fellow Lumnar user.

    Since Luminar Neo 1.06 there is a bug that remained in update 1.07 and still in 1.1. I wonder if anyone has realized that after cropping an image, when exporting and redefining a new dimension, Luminar simply ignores the instruction and keeps the crop dimension. Does the entire Luminar test team not test ??? It's a shame for Luminar that this situation drags on.

    too bad the plugin for photoshop doesn't work and unfortunately there's currently hard time getting a response from their support, for obvious reasons

    Maybe it's just me, but I'm never convinced by AI bokeh. In the example here the lady looks like she's been superimposed on the background or is in front of a green screen. Don't know why this is, or as I say, maybe just me. I like a lot about this software buy the omissions eg Range tool, histogram, clone tool are just too much.

      it's because the blur is flat, with a real fast aperture lens the crevices and different depths have different blur strengths

    When you make a blue sky background so dark like that it doesn't really work. Looks super fake / not natural. I know you're demo-ing the tools but I'd be careful not to destroy the realness of images so much.

    Is it just me who thinks these artificially added, AI effects look like shit? What has the world of photography and post processing come to. This has got to be the death of era of good photographers and the ushering in of bad photographers with AI at their fingertips

      Yea your not wrong, over baked, over sharp and over here, the bokeh example looked like a bad joke.
      No disrespect to Ben here, as I like a lot of his working examples of the Luminar Neo program.
