@@rachelinthelionsden well I've tried all the probiotics and anti fungals too. Caprylic acid seems somewhat helpful, but low carb keeps symptoms at bay the best. Nothing has solved it for me. I may need to be hardcore carnivore for a few months or something.
@rachelinthelionsden well carbs actually are the issue. First... We didn't have sugary high glycemic carbs 3000 years ago. Its a myth that our ancestors lived short lives compared to us. They often died from predation and rarely from diseases like today. Their diets were gathering and hunting and eventually harvesting vegetables, berrys. Second....The flour they used back for bread wasn't laden with bromide which is a filler in most flours today. It's a poison and is intentionally put in baked goods to make us all sick. So...yes..the carbs today are the problem and are causing diseases. Just stick to a paleo diet with low to no carbs if you want to get or remain healthy.
I have major digestive issues and read that ACV and oregano oil are two things that’ll rid candida among other things. I’ve been taking these for two days and it’s working for me
Latest food experiment: Radishes Radishes might be a natural candida combatant. They contain an anti-fungal protein called RsAFP2, which helps to kill candida. Radishes also contain isothiocyanates, which are sulfur- and nitrogen-containing compounds that inhibit the growth of Candida. The going is good so far. 😊 🔎I would also research eating fermented foods on diagnosing a candida overgrowth. I think it's better to kill off the candida overgrowth first? 🫣😅 Stunning post prof! 🤩
My health was normally good. Im active, good BMI etc. Recently took naproxen for back pain, this caused stomach issues where i then had to take lansoprazole for the damage, shortly after this i started getting dizzy spells and not feeking right, i then developed a chest infection where i was given 2 types of antibiotics (during this time i noticed a swelling underneath my tongue and the sides) i then finsihed the anti biotics then developed a colitis bleeding and had to go hospital. Ive completely changed my diet, since that my dizzy spells are more frequent oral thrush pain in tongue my bloods came back with Monocyte count- observation 0.60 10*9/L [0.2 0.8] Eosinophil count- observation 0.26 10*9/L [0.04-0.4] The doctor said my vitamin D levels were low and need to take a supplement. The only health condition before all this was an underactive thyroid which i take thyroxine for. Im pretty healthy otherwise since all this and im really looking for answers for the repeated illness, headaches and dizziness.
It would be simpler to ask those who have recovered from Sibo what they did. There will also be someone to interview. Because Doctor isn't looking for one. Thank you
There’s some correlation between the oral microbiome and gut microbiome, as we get into here: drruscio.com/oral-microbiome/. So an imbalance like SIBO can have an impact on oral health.
Sometimes, yes - particularly burning during urination. It’s one of the most common symptoms of Candida overgrowth. Here’s a little more on that: drruscio.com/candida-overgrowth-test/.
How about this. Listen to your own specific body. It will tell you what to eat and what not to eat. I had chronic urinary track infections for 30 years. Doctors could never figure out why. They tested for everything to include diabetes, Aids, and food allergies. Their only answer was antibiotics, which actually caused yeast infections. Low and behold, I discovered this thing called water. Increased my water intake (32 oz) and stayed away from soda. Haven't had a bladder or yeast infection for the past 10 years. Not sure I trust these clinical trials he is talking about. Are these funded by big Pharma?
Are there dosing instructions on the package or bottle? Usually the specific product includes information about that. Also, make sure to use it in conjunction with other therapies/changes for the best results, as outlined here: drruscio.com/oil-of-oregano-benefits/
The more I learn about these bacteria, the more fascinated I become about it, too. If you put all the trillions of them in your body on a scale, I'm sure that they could be classified as an overlooked, underrated, and under studied organ of the body. 😊
My husband has Both constipation and diarrhea Abdominal pain Burping Sometimes he has brain fog Fatigue Almost always has Gas Bloated Depression Anxiety Inflammation in his colon
Hello! I have all of these same symptoms and was researching last night and found they match for IBS. Maybe look into that too?? (Note: I read that SIBO is behind IBS)
Thanks for making all the podcast videos for us. These are really helpful. However I had a small Little query, is there any causal effect of heat (burn on skin turning to tumour)on tumour or mole formation during ibs ? If yes , then, if you could kindly make a video on the same? Also, premature greying of beard is an issue observed in lot of people.can we reverse it? I think these are connected.
What a cutie. Thanks for this video. I have frequent recurring yeast outbreaks in my skin folds but never vaginally. I take those stupid "one and done" pills that the NP prescribes but I've taken 3 so far. It keeps coming back. I have tubes of Nystatin cream and I'm just sick of this condition. I've heard of systemic yeast infection and I have to wonder if I've got it. It does seem to get worse when I eat things like fried chicken with breading on it. I guess I should just cut certain things from my diet. Would adding coconut oil to my daily diet help? I've heard it is a great anti-fungal. I'll do it if it works. I don't enjoy it but it's okay in my coffee if I use a frother. Thanks again. I'll check out your other video on treating it.
I really can't tell if I'm having eczema or candida.... at least I can't tell which one is causing my current skin rashes that I've never had before. But my gut is telling me it's more likely to be candida.. No pun intended.
But is candida infectious? If you had intimate relations with someone with it, can you get that white coating on your tongue, too? 😮 I understand that you need an overgrowth of it, but can it lead to you eventually displaying the same symptoms?
It’s possible - but unlikely - to contract oral thrush from intimacy. Vaginal yeast infections are more commonly related to intimacy - though are not necessarily considered to be sexually transmitted - because of how the act alters the genital microbiome, or how the body chemistry of the people involves interacts.
While it’s not the main focus or a specific prong of our Candida protocol, reducing or eliminating caffeine may support your immune system’s ability to fight Candida overgrowth. Some research also suggests caffeine could potentially help limit organism growth, so it’s a bit unclear. However, most Candida diets recommend removing or eliminating caffeine sources. Caffeine also may be contraindicated with certain antifungals.

I dunno. Still seems like carb avoidance gives me the best relief from my symptoms.
That’s just symptom management tho? Not rebalancing your entire biome so that you can actually tolerate carbs. (Carbs are not the problem)
