Thank you for watching! What do you think of the Fallout series? And is Ubisoft going down a path they will never recover from? What about Capcom? Let me know. G-FUEL CODE: ENDYMION G-FUEL LINK: sldr.page.link/L53U Instagram: endymionn Twitter: EndymionYT
Personally, I loved the first season of the Fallout series. I can't think of anything that really set off my Woke-o-meter too badly while watching. Sure, the main character is female, but all of my characters in Fallout 4 were female too. It didn't seem wrong to me. Overall i think they nailed it.
Steam should PUNISH ubisoft for this. Delist every single one of their games until they relent. Also, Steam should ban this practice altogether. If you aren't selling permanent ownership then you don't get to list on Steam.
I remember Need for Speed THE RUN. A very beautiful game, but EA games delisted it from their official site (and Steam I think too), because their server were shut down too. The only way to buy the game is to go on sites like Instant Gaming. Even so, to play it in solo mode, you need to NOT be connected to the internet before you get to the main menu, otherwise you're trapped in a time loop (the game endlessly tries first to connect to the now non-existing server). I mean, couldn't they do an update to make it only a solo game? No. Lazy as fuck.
"Tipping" for games? That's the level of idiocy that's running the 'AAA gaymes industry' these days. Who would even buy this trash now that they're just openly ripping people off? We really need another game crash to clean these greedy profit monkeys out of gaming.
You are being missled by endimion, i don't defend any company. But after so many years, the crew has become more a problem for ubisoft. And what basis should they refund you 60 dollars?
30 years of stories that constantly retconned itself and had multiple timelines. They reconned nothing. They literally call them “legends” lol. Like how in our history there are popular but untrue stories.
every single time lucas put out a new movie he retconned the eu, so im really not to mad about disney shitting on it more, the best part of star wars was always the universe its set in, not the movies itself.
@@alidan so you watch movies for the "setting" not the actual movie 🤯 i think most of us watched it for the drama and entertainment enjoy your flat lemonade you will buy anything
I feel you didn't take the whole sentence in its context. He said "Through time and content slowly retconned anything they didn't like about the creator's original vision." Most of what they retconned away immediately was media George Lucas had nothing to do with. Anything he directly had a hand in (The original and prequal movies, and Cartoon Network's Clone Wars) stayed after Disney's purchase and then they retconned stuff he directly worked on slowly...Making Luke a whining man baby who tried to murder his student is a great example of this. Or how they attempted to completely get rid of Coruscant before Lucas Films vetoed that idea, thankfully. There are multiple instances of the original concepts that George Lucas had being slowly eroded away under Disney and I believe this is more what the video was eluding to.
To quote someone in another comment section Yes, I will be used to not owning your games Ubisoft. Because I won't have them in the first place because I'm not buying
The thing that sucks is you don't really own physical games these days either, games on discs/cartridges get downloaded onto your console in digital form and the disc/cartridge essentially becomes an access key.
@MaNiC_IMPressivE_M.M.A. you don't missed that much. it's the same from day one , there was a lot of scummy developers back them too. it's just that the game became more accessible and popular with time.
Stellar Blade right now is carrying a lot of weight, and not just because of the game itself. It's because of what it represents. These guys put passion into their product, and it's such a callback to how the industry used to be, and such a stark contrast to what we have today, that I think a lot of things are riding on this game's release, perception, and success. It'll send a HUGE message to western companies when they compare how much money they're losing to how much money Stellar Blade is poised to make. What I esspecially take pleasure in is that the more people cry about Stellar Blade the more attention they draw to it, and ironically the more successful it becomes.
I think both the combo of Stellar Blade Elden Ring dlc expansion and Black Myth Wukong are what is going to show western devs good games are still possible and worth doing.
The fallout show was treated with respect , I feel like everyone involved had alot of respect and care for the source material.... did we watch the same show? Because I feel like you didn't even watch the show
@@Cold_Cactus if there was care and respect for the source material, why are the timelines retconning existing canon? Feels like another Witcher scenario where they change characters or events because it's more convenient to them.
I can only think of two developers that deserve a tip for their games: Team Cherry for Hollow Knight, and Fromsoft for Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Sekiro, Elden Ring and Armored Core.
if i buy a game and they revoke ownership then it should be refunded... wtf is with these delusional devs and companies these days... time we show them where the carpenter left the door and not buy a songle thing from them anymore until those ppl are gone... * *smh* *
Black Flag was my last game from them and will be. Turns out it’s not very hard to give up Ubisoft games when they make the same game over and over with a new coat of paint.
It's a very small subsection of fallout fans that dislike the Fallout tv series. Overall everyone I've talked to on various web forums, in games, and IRL has said that the show's leaning towards a 9 and no lower than an 8. Ubisoft could burn to the ground and it would be a benefit to society.
You're right. The show was pretty good and most fans really like it but there's always going to be people who need to have something to complain about.
@f.b.l.9813 Everyone's allowed their own opinion but some people are acting like this is Halo level disservice to the franchise. I think it's a step in the right direction for video game adaptations and there's no "mass exodus."
It never amazes me how sad these people are.... They know people do not want their women to look like men, and they also know women with curves and Lady parts actually exist as does VERY beautiful women (stellar blade is proof of that) but they continue to do this thinking that people are going to somehow change their minds about it....they won't, they will lose money and support even trying.
To me, it seems more like they want to punish men for the "Male Gaze." male characters still look hunk, and attractive, only female characters get beat with the ugly stick.
It's attempted social engineering. Our very best move is to simply not participate / not spend money on these types of products. When enough of them go out of business there will be a market correction in the form of more games like Stellar Blade.
They hired so many woke people in all positions that they cannot stop being woke. The woke staff will NOT allow non-woke material. By having the "conservatives" nuke the whole world complies with how the woke view conservatives and greedy corporations behave.
@@NoshikiYTWrong, wrong and wrong. The show was terrible, it was the actual fans that were thrashing on it, not the tourists that just want to take over another thing they have no interest in and it had absolutely no potential in any manner whatsoever....It was so disliked that even the people that played in it knew it was garbage, and it got to a point where they were attacking the actual fans that wanted nothing to do with it.
Yeah, you're reading this all wrong.. They didn't retcon new vegas out of existence. according to an interview with the show runners, the town was nuked shortly after the events of new vegas. There was just no date on the board for when that happened. The fall of a place, and it's destruction are not the same thing. Lore-wise, the whole thing is kinda messy, but not universe-breaking. Also, i'm not seeing a mass-exodus, or big hate from the fanbase over the show. Near as i can tell, most fans of fallout love the show. The way in which Bethesda acquired the Fallout IP was nothing like how Disney bought Star Wars... Disney made George Lucas an offer, and acquired Lucasfilm, outright... Interplay (previous owners of the Fallout IP) deliberately offered to sell the Fallout IP to Bethesda, because they were having financial issues, and needed the money. It's worth noting that Obsidian was comprised of former Black Isle employees, who worked on Fallout 2...so it's no wonder they were able to make New Vegas so good...they were part of the team that worked on the original lore for that region of the world.
I can recall thinking this back during the XBone original announcement. They expected us to download games rather than buy them. They didn't want to allow games to be passed on as physical media because they felt that they would miss out on money. Since then we have seen this whole business again on more than one situation, probably the biggest example was Stadia. That's one reason why so many players are playing their back catalogue - they have a physical media copy and they don't need to worry about woke.
If Ubisoft considers normal for us not owning the games they should stop asking us to buy them. Because technically it is not a purchase anymore, it is rent. Yet something tells me they do not have the balls to be honest about it.
Only thing I can say for the crew players is pirate every ubisoft game you want to play going forward. If purchasing doesn't mean owning the license to play, then piracy doesn't mean theft
Pirating their games, means you're giving them attention, they will be in the press for all the piracy. So they'll win anyway. Do not give them your money or your attention.
The good thing about having French as my first language is that we have masculine and feminine variants for a lot of verbs and adjectives. No ambiguity, we know instantly who is male and who is female, we don't have the magic words they/them. Woke pos are probably gritting their teeths right now. One thing that's annoying in game with self-inserts localized in English is the use of they/them whenever they talk about the player, even though our character, both visually and through his speech, actions and story, is 1000% a man. Imagine changing text (even voice lines) to make sure you don't offend that 0.00001% of people who may or may not even play your game
Yeah, well, we in Germany have that too and do you know what happened to the German language? What a bunch of ideologists do to German is a million times worse than this they/them shit.
You wanna know the best part? The English language doesn't have proper words referring to "genderless" individuals either. "They" and "Them" are used in reference to two or more people. The woke mob misappropriated them for the purpose of "inclusivity" and societally reprogrammed virtually every English speaker on Earth to use them as such!

Same. Starbound was my breaking point. Well Starbound and a TED talk of Bethesda’s lead writer which is just awful writing advice. I used to be a big Bethesda defender in the mid and late 2010s but frankly I lost all hope. I literally had plans to save up vacation days just for when TES 6 came out and now I don’t even think I’ll play it until months after it comes out in 2056.
@NoshikiYT and that's the problem. Instead of demanding better, we settle for fine. Then we wonder why Hollywood content is so awful. Just because a show or movie is not the worst thing ever, doesn't mean it's worth my time or praise.
Fallout was pretty decent. Aside from a trans Brotherhood of Steel character, it didn't really have any of the usual woke stuff and generally I think they hit all the marks that made it feel like the fallout world.
Fallout 1 lore was so much better, from the intro movie, "war never changes": "In the 21st century, war was still waged over the resources that could be acquired. Only this time, the spoils of war were also its weapons: Petroleum and Uranium. For these resources, China would invade Alaska, the US would annex Canada, and the European Commonwealth would dissolve into quarreling, bickering nation-states, bent on controlling the last remaining resources on Earth. In 2077, the storm of world war had come again. In two brief hours, most of the planet was reduced to cinders. And from the ashes of nuclear devastation, a new civilization would struggle to arise."
I still can't believe how many people are saying it's good. I think too many people have gotten used to bad writing, acting, and terrible shows to let this pass.

Yeah, the normie-ization of consuming slop made people lose their sense of taste and decency. Its so ridiculous now. I prefer fanfiction over the “official” stuff because a good number of those writers are better then “modern” script writers
Now we know why the director said that it's pointless to try and please the fans. He KNEW that Todd Howard will make him change the established lore, so he threw that out there like "Don't expect the show to follow the established lore to a tee".
What "established lore" was changed ? Seriously list it Because I see lots of you people saying this shit but literally NON of you can actually list lore that has been changed
Lots of fallout games don't even follow the lore! In fallout 2 they stopped using caps as currency and you can find thousands in a gutter and they're worthless That's just 1 major example but literally each fallout game has canonality issues
@@Cold_Cactus Dude theres like tons of videos on TH-cam where authors describe every flaw of this show. But if you want MOST DETAILED critique then wait untill creetosis make couple hours long video about every episode.
@@VetriVade Stop using bottle caps as currency is... contradicts the lore? That not even true! World finally started to build normal society - so NCR got gold and made REAL money! It called "development"! It was Fallout 3 where everything was flushed away.
Regarding the retcon, it most likely wasn't a retcon. In a Dlc that, based on dialogue, would take place after FNV; you can send a nuke against either the NCR(shady sands) or Caesars legion. The show never outright said that the dad shot the nuke but instead said she did it? Sounds like they are trying to make this event questionable just like who dropped the original bombs. Bethesda loves reusing plot points.
This thing happening with "The Crew" happened with "Modern Warfare 2019". I wanted to replay its campaign to platinum the game but I can't. I've downloaded the campaign and Special Ops packs but I can't play either of them because no. I purchased a new disk , thinking my disk was faulty or glitched, but even that didn't work. I've searched on reddit and other places and there is no fix for this. I HAVE THE GAME DISK. I WANT TO PLAY THE OFFLINE CAMPAIGN BUT I CAN'T. WTF.
I love the tipping idea at the end of great games. So how much am I owed for all the bugs , broken promises, dei junk and games stolen back combined? What? It doesn't go both ways? I'm shocked ...
Wow Ubisoft? are yu serious? Removing online servers and ongoing support from a game is 1 thing. But removing the game as a whole is disgusting. I hope some lawyer who just happened to play that game says 'wait, yu know what, that shts illegal' and takes your A-moral a$$ to court.
You should read the Fallout bible. It leaves it open as to who and why the first nukes are dropped. Everyone assumes the Chinese, but that isn't the only possibility (the original creators wanted to leave things open to fan fiction). Also, towards the end of the USA as we know it there were a lot of civil problems. Riots over food shortages and the ongoing war prompted a harsh crackdown by the military, even using the latest power armor to suppress rioters. Considering the USA was on the brink of collapse even if the Chinese were beaten, I could see some corporate assholes thinking that nukes could be an easy restart button. This is also set a fair bit past New Vegas, there are a lot of things that could have brought down the NCR.

What makes it worst for Capcom is that they tried to cowtow to America before with their more "Americanized" games in the late 2000s to early 2010s and it did not go well for them. Why on earth would they do it again with this tactic? Has Capcom not learned anything?
whats worse for the crew was that in the files people find proof that there was a offline mode that needed ubisoft to activate it somehow and they never did.
Usually on point with videos, but I disagree with the breakdown of Fallout. It's clearly based on Fallout 3/4 - and that's what most people who have watched this series have played. The original Fallout 'war' has been going on for decades at this point. The storyline of Fallout 1, 2 and NV are unfortunately not really well remembered by the majority of people who watched the series, I can bet money on that. I think people need to separate anything previous to 3 and 4 - as Bethesda have never followed that universes lore hugely accurately. There are forums dedicated to this since 3 existed, so it was expected the series would probably just stir this up again.
I dont share this perspective. All the major story beats are there and are loyal to the entire lore of the entire franchise. Shady Sands being nuked feels like natural lore progression. Previous games extensively discuss the decline of the NCR, including new vegas. Everything with the lore is fine, new vegas super fans are just knee jerk reacting instead of thinking. Meme judgements do a disservice to the fandom.

@@NormLenhart-v4l Maybe your sarcasm just isn't that appealing to the average person? Food for thought, at least. Oh, and yeah, Todd did NOT do "great" things with the Fallout games. Fallout 3 was the only mostly good Bethesda Fallout game that still had a lot of issues with it's plot. Skyrim (not a Fallout game, but I felt I should've mentioned it anyway since it's very overrated) was just a mediocre game that could only be uplifted with a load out of hundreds of mods and Fallout 4 was just straight up a bad game that did not care about the Fallout lore whatsoever and had the most abysmal story out of all the Fallout games, rivaling with likes of Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel. Most of what they retconned away immediately was media George Lucas had nothing to do with.

Yeah, you're reading this all wrong.. They didn't retcon new vegas out of existence. according to an interview with the show runners, the town was nuked shortly after the events of new vegas.
That announcement practically made millions of people jump ship to Sony.

For these resources, China would invade Alaska, the US would annex Canada, and the European Commonwealth would dissolve into quarreling, bickering nation-states, bent on controlling the last remaining resources on Earth.

Also, towards the end of the USA as we know it there were a lot of civil problems. Riots over food shortages and the ongoing war prompted a harsh crackdown by the military, even using the latest power armor to suppress rioters.
True
If I could I would buy fallout and sue Bethesda for damages
You'd lose that bad bet.
facts... this is a bad take on the creator's part

The show is the same in that regard.

Nioh is also created by TN, they not so popular, but many people know them as a DOA and ninja gaiden creator. And Nioh is not super popular, it's quite niche.

The fallout show is great. You can tell a lot of love was put into it. I dont really get why people are hating on it. Sure, there are some issues, but the good definitely outweighs the bad. Easily the best video game adaptation ever made that I've seen. Even though most have been bad, this one isn't one of them.
The capcom Localization news broke my heart and shred it into pieces. Capcom games have always been there for me and Street Fighter was the very first game I ever played at an ARCADE, at the young age of maybe 5/6? Ugh, I'm hating all this crap and losing the little hope I had for every entertainment company of any kind. Plus, why would I want Japan to give me "western ideals"? I want Japanese culture and point of view to come through, it's anime back in the '80 that made me fall in love with Japan and make myself cultured to it.

The Story surrounding the slew of Lawsuits between Bethesda and Interplay tells an interesting story of how the rights to Fallout shifted from Interplay to Bethesda. Starting with the fact that Interplay originally sold Bethesda a License to make a Fallout-Style Game.
