Kratos treated Freya as an equal, and I think that more than anything is what eventually earned her respect and love towards Kratos. There are signs that she grew to love Atreus as a son.

It’s pretty clear that she wasn’t to restart with Kratos. There’s a line in the game where someone says, “it’s just trying to start a family.” And Freya while looking at Kratos says, “aren’t we all.”

@@gmalamat1393you and the OP are both right. Kratos didn’t minimize Freya’s feelings, and by Freya learning the truth about Calliope, she realized Kratos knew that rage and grief she was feeling - that same rage and grief which propelled him to murder the entire Greek pantheon - but wanted her to choose a different path than he did.

    • @austinjt4264
      @austinjt4264 ปีที่แล้ว

What would happen, if the choices are NOT yours to make?
If your son is hanging off the ledge along with his best friend and you can only save 1 of them, ONE ONLY.
Which choice would you chose? Who will you save? Was there even a choice at all?
No Grad Design? What about people with Low IQ? They studied & studied but never made it pass the covers of any books.
Is that not part of a Grand Design? Someone chose to be an idiot? Somebody chose to born with a Down Syndrome? You could've been anywhere in the world, but you had to be stuck with your disable kid, is that not part of Grand Design by default?
No script? Look around you... Everyone fit into scripts like a glove. It became so predictable, to point of one movie can move a nation just because how this "Script" fits everyone else so perfectly.

I think it can just be chalked up to the Greek Gods having a collective sense of being full of themselves for the purpose of the GOW series. They ruled unchallenged on Olympus for a thousand years so developing smug, shitass attitudes within a dogmatic order of supremacy over Greece was par for the course. As Mimir said, the pantheon really had it coming.

When Kratos went to find her with Atreus he said "She can take care of herself" and Atreus said "And we're still checking on her?"... I understand where these comments coming from, but there are not much romantic chemistry between them, for the first half of the game, she tried to kill him on multiple occasions because he killed her son, lmao. More like friends that bonded over shared trauma. They don't need a relationship. They need healing. They should stay friends tbh.
Sometimes it feels like people shipping them just bcuz Freya is a woman and Kratos is a man, and they walk together lol. Friendship between women and men exists guys...
Plus, Kratos isn't over Fey and Freya clearly still needs a lot of time for herself.

what Birgir is saying in the 25:44 is probably this:
Lo there do I see my father; Lo there do I see my mother and my sisters and my brothers; Lo there do I see the line of my people, back to the beginning. Lo, they do call to me, they bid me take my place among them, in the halls of Valhalla, where the brave may live forever.

In my school vr game, Freya is an optional boss when you play as Lucifer Morningstar to investigate the ruined remains of Bridlewood and she is a inspector boss (Bosses that learns your playstyle while hidden) and she fight you in her Valkyire form which she is revealed to have Ultra Weapons (special Weapons made by Goalius mother, Queen Nova that have the power to kill entities of unimaginable power) which is shown in her intro cutseen but halfway through the fight she turned into a Ursa Omega (the fusion of a Frost and Fire Claw from Horizon zero dawn frozen winds and Forbidden West) and is pretty tough but once done Goalius arrives stopping the fight as he is surprised with Freya arrival to this realm and is furious at Lucifer Morningstar due to him basically caused the city to be destroyed

She was cursed to never harm anyone. But I'm also confused to why she can fight Kratos before she got her soul back.
But it seems, somehow in post credits, she asked Mimir where her wings was kept and somehow she got it back.
And after gotten her wings, somehow allow her to fight directly but she didn't hold powers she once was until she destroyed the roots.
Her wings (Which is a significant portion of her powers) and her ability to cause harm, was what taken from her.
And then, he bound her to never leave Midgard, so she may never reunite with her people.
