Superb video again, with my hometown! I discovered your channel few weeks ago and I fully agree with others that it is becoming part of Saturday morning routine!:) Special thanks for beside LIDO charts and PFD/ND view, you also inserting MCDU and RMP views at relevant points. I would gladly see even more MCDU/ACP/RMP/overhead panel inserts from preflight phase if possible. Thanks again Stefan, excellent content!

Another beautiful departure video that inspires me. 😀👍 A great view of the city of Budapest from the cockpit, thanks!! 🏆 What I really liked is that you can see the ramp agent in the departure video. Thanks! I also think it's great that up to 10000ft. has been flown manually. Of course it doesn't always work. Thanks again for the beautiful video!! I'm looking forward to the next one!
I am realy watching ur videos.its realy intersting, giving very good image builing to EUROWINGS.keep it up.just humble request can you show video during departure experiencing technical defect, how you go on that going through MEL,QRH,OPS PROCREDURE,HOW INTERACTING WITH MAINTENANCE..etc.
Thanks for the very kind words! What we see in the videos is our real flying experience. The planes we fly are very well maintained and in a very good technical order. Technical malfunctions are very rare. But if it happens that I record a video and in parallel a malfunction happens, I will try to publish it here.
Thanks for the good feedback! There is a push to talk button for the interphone. It is the same interphone line for cockpit and the ground crew. We can switch it to always on or press the button whenever we have to say something.

Thanks for the friendly words! I recently recorded a departure out of Düsseldorf. But - due to the weather - the outside views were nor really nice. I did not finally decide If I publish it or not. Thanks for watching and your good feedback! I do not publish any details about the audio and video recording equipment. This may change. But for now, I am very sorry about that and ask for your understanding.
Thanks for watching and the good feedback! During the climb we do not select a certain climbrate. We use climb power and fly the speed in accordance to the required speed schedule, which is dictated by the airplane configuration (flaps ..) and ATC speed constraints. The resulting climbrate varies by airplane type, engine thrust, weather and weight. With a light airplane we see a few thousand feet a minute. With a heavy airplane it will be less. When approaching the cleared altitude, we reduce the climbrate to avoid TCAS resolution advisories in close proximity to other airplanes.
Good question. It has some resistance but moves very comfortably. It took me just a few minutes to get comfortable with it after flying only airplanes with a conventional yoke before.
Thanks for the good feedback and your question! Yes, we can Import the flightplan via the ATSU into the FMGC. This includes the winds enroute, during the departure and the descent.
Thanks for watching and the great feedback! I try to make another VIE video as soon as possible. Here is the link to my last Vienna approach-video to runway 11 th-cam.com/video/eBbvkIFJ9Uk/w-d-xo.html It may take a while. Please stay tuned.
Thanks for watching! Sure, this was an instrument flight. So the main focus of the pilot flying was on the instruments. Not on sightseeing. Many greetings to Colombia!
How to know at what altitude one should expect to see the runway with the given METAR visibility? For ex :- if metar visibility is 4000m. Is there any rule of thumb?
On a standard 3 degree glideslope, we descent 300 feet per nautical mile. If we are 4000 meters from the runway, this would be 2.16 nautical miles. 2.16 x 300 feet is 648 feet. With 4000 meters visibility, we would see the runway at approx. 650 feet above the runway elevation. The approach lights would be earlier in sight because a standard approach lighting system begins 900 meters infront of the threshold.
Dry runway V speeds are very close togheter for a light aircraft such as the A320. But if the runway is wet, V1 will be way lower in that case. And no, if you rotate before V1 you either screwed up the trim setting or the center of gravity of the aircraft is wrong
I am the pilot monitoring and have the hand at or near the sidestick for several reasons: It is the relaxed position for my arm/hand, the push to talk button for the radio is located at the sidestick and I am talking to ATC as pilot monitoring and I have to be able to take over the controls from the pilot flying at any time, specially if he is flying manually.
