So I have owned 3 xc90’s…two were destroyed in insane highway accidents almost exactly a year apart. Had it not been a xc90 we were driving, we would all be dead. With multiple kids and car seats, the only way to go is to buy the 6 passenger version of the B6. The rear seats have anchors and entering and exiting is waaay easier. Good luck
Seems like a marketing-driven decision. Or accounting. It saves money not to have anchors in the third row. And the majority of owners will never use them. But at the same time, it’s such a small space that adults probably wouldn’t even be back there anyways. There’s a small age range of people who can use them 😀
One more thing…the only Volvo vehicle made in china is the S90, the Chinese are obsessed with large sedan vehicles. Much like Americans were in the 50-60’s
