Fiancés 2004 4Runner had apprx 400K miles and it ran perfectly when we sold it and bought a 17’ Lexus GX460. I have a 02’ Lexus LX470 with 250K miles perfect. Also MANY GM Suburbans/Tahoes/Escalades have been high mileage champs too
😂 this list starting with a BMW? When the B58 they developped with toyota are already starting to have massive issues. I can't take this list seriously at all
The new X5 is still reliable, just not as reliable as a Toyota/Honda/Lexus/Acura, I love my mom’s 2023 MDX but I can’t wait for my dad to get his 2025 X5 later this year
Haha! The B58 was NOT developed with Toyota. It has been out for 9 years and it’s a stout and reliable engine. Not sure what BS information you are reading about them having massive issues…. Also given that my nearly trouble free F30 335i (N55) has nearly 200K, I can see my B58 in the G05 lasting me 250K easily.
@@AgonxOC exactly! At least you know what you’re talking about! My dad is getting a 2025 BMW X5 40i M Sport fully loaded later this year and we plan on keeping it for a long time (hopefully 7-10 years)
I agree. I started laughing when he said BMW and the Subaru Crosstrek. If you get 200K out of the Subaru CVT you’re very lucky. My college car was a 78 bare bones Corolla. I drove it until it died in 02 with 488K miles.
I’m loving this list bc my mom has a 2023 Acura MDX Advance and my dad is getting a 2025 BMW X5 40i M Sport fully loaded later this year, kinda disagree with what you said about the MDX interior tho bc I truly feel the X5 we’re getting isn’t a nicer vehicle than the MDX we have although it does have better tech and it destroys the MDX from a performance standpoint (❤ both SUVs tho)
They suck I bought a rav 4 thinking I’d have reliability and dependability It lasted 8 years torque converter has blown and it will cost thousands to repair I’m so disheartened will never buy a rav 4 or any 4 cylinder piece of shit again only V6 for me thanks
Had a 2000 Ford expedition that I owned until it had 290k miles and it still ran great when I sold it, have also seen several expeditions with over 250k miles. From what Ive seen, chevy Tahoes also run good for a long time with minor repairs.
I wonder how you can say that all this new models will easy go over 250k, I’m pretty sure sure there should be statistics, but statistics based on time, and most of the models on your list are new…
Toyota is having Major Recalls on their new iForce and iForce Max powered vehicles. We found that the Honda HR-V and Corolla Cross were way too small and slow. We liked the Rav and the Venza but rear outward visibility was horrible. Ultimately we chose the Subaru Outback for my wife. When I heard the 12:01 Tacoma was dropping the durable and reliable 3.5L V6 I bought one of the last 23 TRD Off Road, double cab, 6’ bed with the premium and technology pkgs. I’m getting 18-22mpg and knowing that this will be the last pickup I’ll ever need to buy is priceless.
Glad I purchased a new 2nd generation 2021 Toyota Sequoia TRD Pro employing that bulletproof naturally aspirated 3UR-FE 5.7 liter V-8 engine and reliable 6 speed Aisan transmission which will outlast any new vehicle
Consumer Reports put them up there in *expected* reliability, I believe. They also gave the 2020 Kona that and I know of three of them (out of four) that have essentially had the engine fall out. Anecdotal, but I can't take CR's expected reliability for anything anymore.
My buddy model 3 old gen I got the new one but new one should last 300k or 20 years. It’s been proven by other model s owner but my coworker has 210k and it runs normal no problems. Just like new except less range than mine. Battery warranty and lifetime is 20 or so years which is not bad for 300k for 10k over the years
I had a crosstrek for 6 months, huge drawback was the safety! Ironically, Subaru brags about how the eyesight system is one of the best on the market; in my experience of why i ditched the car after only 7200 km was because the system kept deactivating! In the slightest rainfalls or snowfalls the system deactivates, leaving no safety whatsoever. My 2016 mini was better sorry Subaru!
The HRV should have a manual trans. Why does this vhannel have the vibes of one of those now you know channels if its run by a mechanic? And so much B-role footage, how?
As soon as I heard bmw, I stopped the video. There’s no way you can convince me that it’s reliable when I’ve seen countless people experiencing issues with theirs.
My grandmother has like a 1991 rav 4 that still runs! And there’s no way the Mazda cx 30 is better than the cx 5! Sorry, This list is weird. Seems also a biased more heavy on the luxury SUVs list.
I have to come in here this guy's telling you a big fat lie especially about the BMWs those are junk only risk people can afford those because they cost an arm and a leg to fix
2025 that car is not made yet and you are telling me it last 250 000 miles

Take this ridiculous propaganda down,....this was a joke list and i barely ever comment on YT.
BMW, one of the most reliable cars today are you serious?
G80 is a beast now. Supposedly
With the b58 engine yes
Yes f15 owner here
How is the normal RAV4 not #1… or even anywhere in this list? What a joke. I don’t even like them but know they are the king of reliable suvs.
4Runner and gx are more reliable than the rav4. RAV4 isnt the king

BMW? Tell me you're getting money from manufacturers without telling me you're getting money from manufacturers 🤣
Actually, look at their recent reliability reports, they are good
Top 9. Not #1. Don't get too excited.

Isn’t Toyota having issues with their V6TT? LC Prado recommendation?
Y'all never did a video on cheap reliable SUV's. Would love for that to be the next video.

My SL Rogue is 346k and counting. My husbands Audi has 351k on it.
Yes my BMW last beyond 400000 miles. You just need to to replace everything inside 3 time a year. Typical long lasting American way.
One of my customers has a bmw sedan…. She’s owned it from new for 7 months and it’s been in the shop for 5….
Why would you recommend an cvt. No
Oh my…BMW with all the bells and whistles is surely a very reliable vehicle indeed. 🤪
That honda cvt is not gonna last 200k miles
Agreed!
May I ask you please... how many of your "Most Reliable" SUV's have the world's ABSOLUTELY WORST transmission? The self-destructing CVT?
Yes I understand that with some CVTs the mechanics can actually fix them. Anything minor and you have to purchase a whole new transmission!
Glad I purchased a new 2nd generation 2021 Toyota Sequoia TRD Pro employing that bulletproof naturally aspirated 3UR-FE 5.7 liter V-8 engine and reliable 6 speed Aisan transmission which will outlast any new vehicle
Toyota/Honda/Lexus/ Acura that’s all
Kia and Hyundai not on the list, very surprised 😂
I KNOW you didn't call a BMW, one of the single worst brands in terms of reliability, reliable. Especially up there with Honda and Toyota?
I was a little shocked too but the X5 seems to be their only good vehicle nowadays.
Consumer Reports put them up there in *expected* reliability, I believe. They also gave the 2020 Kona that and I know of three of them (out of four) that have essentially had the engine fall out. Anecdotal, but I can't take CR's expected reliability for anything anymore.
How can you say BMW’s will run past 250,000 miles when they just became “reliable”?
I don't care how looks ACURA .... THE QUANTITY OF ENGINE AND AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION I AM LOOKING FOR
WITH ALL RESPECT FOR TRUTH AND KNOWLEDGE
There is NO WAY that any current EV is gonna last 250K miles

Ford Maverick 👍
Not a suv
HRVs are junk! Where did you get this list?
Ford brings in the Everest from Asia. Better than the Maverick
