    Do we think these attitudes are gone? Oh heck no! We have a political party today whose campaign for presidency involves bashing women who have not had children. This ties a woman's value to one thing, being a baby factory. Vote folks, vote!

    We couldn't wear pants in school in Iowa, USA. We had snow drifts up to my butt. You could wear pants under your dress to walk to school but you better go straight to the bathroom and take them off before anyone saw you. Even at 5 years old I knew that was insane behavior.

      My mom graduated from high school in 1958 in Iowa. She said that they could wear pants on Fridays! Lol

      @@artteacher71 Interesting. I was born in 59 so ... I guess I was there in the low to middle 60s. Very cold winters, lots of snow.
