Love your channel mate keep it up. A few creators like yourself have inspired me to create my own which was just amazing when I uploaded my first video today! Still a lot to learn but enjoyed every minute of it haha. Will continue to look forward to your future work mate, keep it up mate! Love Cumbria spent quite a few years growing up there!!!
Hi Ryan many thanks for your comment glad you enjoyed the video and have inspired you to get out your camera and start creating some videos of your own, just watched your little video great start to your channel and subscribe. 👍
How good was that! Absolute joy to watch your videos Ashley; how you go about it and the wow factor use of slowmo, stills, the angles, gorgeous B-roll... For me, you really are a Wildlife Photographer Extraordinaire.
Top video again Ashley, nice mixed bag you got there. Love the male Sparrowhawk on that mossy perch and the bank voles in amongst the moss as well, lovely colours. Hope the injury heals up soon and see you on the next one 👍🏽📸
Hi Lee, many thanks for the comment, yeh not a bad day out, plenty of variety that's for sure, yeh tough as old boots me lol 😜 , just treat the pain as an experience and carry on 😜😜
Videos and photos can't fault them. The remote method is ok, if you had a Nikon the camera would do it for you don't need to keep clicking the button. Also it does video !!!!
Fab video - sparrowhawk footage is great! Makes me want to try doing that! Will practice in the garden first! I see in your list of gear that you have the R7, which I keep considering, but also I'm tempted by the R6 Mk2 (I am a Fuji user currently.) What is your opinion of the R7 for wildlife, and is there a lens you would recommend to go with it, please? I have read reviews and lots of info, on both cameras, but still can't make up my mind whether to make the switch to Canon or not!! (No worries if not possible to respond, by the way.)
Hi how many thanks for your comment yes the R7 is a great little camera and it works well with the 100 to 500 however I have heard that the R6 mark 2 being full-frame camera has better eye tracking, I haven't actually used the R6 mark 2 and I did notice that the R7 has very good eye tracking better than what I found on the R5, and with it being a crop sensor you're actually getting further reach with the R7 but then again you can just crop in on the R5 or the R6. It's a tough one to call really but if I were you I will probably go for the R6 Mark 2, the r7's a little old now, as for lens well 100 to 500 I've been using now for the past 12 to 18 months and it is absolutely fantastic and especially at the price you really can't go wrong. hope that help.
@@WildlifePhotographerUK Thank you very much for reading my question and taking the time to respond. You have actually said the words I really deep down wanted to hear.... the R6 MK2 has been calling me! but the R7 is cheaper and I think lighter in weight. Two plusses for that, but I really fancy the R6 MK2 despite all that! Great to read your positive thoughts on the 100 to 500 lens too and that it can be paired with the 6 mk2. Bet they'd be a super combination. I have read reviews and it has come out well in those so you have confirmed that. Thanks so much. Maybe time for me to return to Canon now then. Had an EOS 400D many moons ago, then just various Canon pocket cameras, before getting the Fuji. But Fuji AF is so slow and tracking not great either, so rather frustrating! Keep hearing good things about Canon! You've been very helpful, thanks again. Look forward to your next video!
Hi, many thanks for your comment. No, it would appear not, although I'm sure it is not through the lack of trying but it doesn't seem to. The birds are aware that the sparrowhawks are around and are on high alert.
Great video and you have a new subscriber. Cheers from Andrew

Hello, my dear friend.
Please tell me how to take a picture in video mode?
Thank you.
?
Yes that’s totally correct.
Just the Canon iPhone app?
Is sparrow hawk eating the other birds that come to the hide?

Nice video despite the rain , greetings from spain...
