Hi Sean many thanks for your comment yes it is a fantastic place and don't forget to go to the website he has lots of hides to choose from I'm plenty going on, the hides are of a very high standard, and probably some of the best in the country.
Yeah hopefully get the Mull video out for next week, the problem I'm finding is that when I'm going through my photos, the thousands of them, I now have 142 keepers to narrow down for the video it's quite a task lol.😵💫
Hi Peter many thanks for your comment, well hopefully you'll have a successful day just as I did, you just have to keep your wits about you and keep looking out into both Windows because you have no idea what's going to happen. 👍
@@WildlifePhotographerUK Thank you for this response I've been to Toms place a couple of times to do the kingfishers and that was excellent so really looking forward to this new hide.
Brilliant video mate, I've literally done the same hide recently and gotten my video up a couple of days ago. Such an amazing hide for sure, will be going back again!
Hi Mark, the Kingfisher Hide is great, I did that earlier this year along with the Marsh Harriers, that video is here if you have not seen it, th-cam.com/video/UxlIekT8iFA/w-d-xo.html 👍thanks for the comment and I hope you have a good day in the Dyke hide when you go.
the glass doesn't stop you shooting at whatever f stop you want it just means that with the one stop of light loss you will be shooting at wither twice the iso or half the shutter speed you would normally be shooting at.
Hi Caitlin, the sooner the better, it is pretty active now, just send Tom a message on his website for the Dyke hide www.wildlife-photography-hides.co.uk/contact.aspx

Very nice video 😀
If you shooting through the glass and loosing one stop of light how did you managed to shot at F2.8?
Thanks
You can still take photos at f/2.8 through the glass, you just need to compensate by increasing the ISO or lowering the shutter speed 👍
the glass doesn't stop you shooting at whatever f stop you want it just means that with the one stop of light loss you will be shooting at wither twice the iso or half the shutter speed you would normally be shooting at.
I really want to go to the hide, what’s the best time to go?

Are you shooting through glass in this hide? Doesn't look like it's open..
