When you use the QR code they send does it still require a push sms verification code sent to cellphone. I ask cause what if original SIM card lost and no access to sms to see the verification code they send before you can proceed?

The model needs eSIM hardware. Also, if you are trying to do it from first setup, you can either setup eSIM straight away, or set up with WiFi or no internet first, then set up eSIM later
