  • It's estimated that workers steal approximately $200 billion in revenue from U.S. firms to bolster their income each year. Olin Business School Professor Lamar Pierce and his colleagues set out to discover if information technology (IT) solutions partnered with pay-for-performance incentives could redirect an employee away from theft and improve productivity. The paper is titled, Cleaning House: The Impact of Information Technology Monitoring on Employee Theft and Productivity
