Kerry - can you do a special show on the Amish who are building houses/cabins for Helene victims in WNC - SO important for folks to get back into houses.
All very nice stuff, thanks for the tour. One significant thing of note; none of the shown models has any storage space shown. Everyone has things that they need to tuck out of the way, but not much evident spaces to do any of that with these.
@@67Endgame you just have to realize what you're buying. This is for people with few possessions and no desire to accumulate any. If you start adding things on like storage space and a garage, then just buy a traditional house.
Very nice! I love the look of the black with the wood. I also like that you can open the glass doors and have more living space outside. Thanks for sharing!
The 200 could be used as a guest house or an Air B&B for people on the move and just need a place to crash for the night and keep driving. 400 is perfect for one person. Pricing is ok. The covered deck is flat out awesome.
Happy Halloween, this is definitely a treat and no calories too! 😁200 might be a nice motel type building or as someone else said a guest house. 400 and 500 make nice tiny home building with the loft and seem more spacious than the typical tiny home builds seen. Thanks for sharing these homes.
Could you please do a video or link info - if there is a company which services the south eastern united states , which are this type of architecture or similar ( if one exists. Most of the homes you cover tend to be available near California or PNW US or Canada Would greatly appreciate info on a company that will service Georgia Florida Alabama South Carolina Tennessee etc.
I really like the cabin look of these, but unfortunately I don't live on the West Coast. I know most people live on the East and West coasts, and that you're from Canada, so that's where a lot of the homes you talk about are available, but is there any chance you've seen anything interesting that's available in the Midwest United States? I live in Michigan and housing prices here have tripled and quadrupled over the last few years, so an offering like this would be welcome here. Houses that sold in my rural community in 2018 to 2020 for $120k to $150k are now selling for $300k to $500k. A 40 acre piece of hunting property that is mostly wetlands and isn't really buildable sold in early 2020 for $15k and is currently listed for $200k. Couple that with the higher interest mortgage rates these days and most people who grew up here have to either move to an even more rural area and drive 45 minutes to an hour to get to work or just leave the area and the State entirely. Something like that Mysa 500 for $124k would be a nice option these days, even if $248 per square foot seems high to me compared to what was available a couple years ago. Anyways, thanks again for your awesome videos, as I like seeing what the tiny/modular home market is up to these days, even when they aren't available near me.
Happy Halloween, today’s video is definitely a treat with no calories😁. The 200 would make for a nice multiple unit motel type rental with a community kitchen area. Like the 400 and 500 with lofts - different design from many of the typical tiny home builds and seems more spacious. The covered deck is good for keeping people and things dry and from rain or snow coming straight into the home. Baseline Price point seems reasonable as well. Thanks for sharing!
We used to do striated standing seam metal, which removes the oil can effect, but the flat pan, while oil canning, has a much truer look. Give and take.... We do offer both!
I have been emailing the company Steel and Spark regarding their Sparkbox product for over a year now with no response back. Are you able to help me Kerry with this? I first heard about them from you Kerry. Thanks, keep up the great work your doing.
They really need a 700 model. IMO, that's the square footage that starts hitting the sweet spot as you can get a real kitchen and possibly even a 2nd bedroom/home office.
Add 35% for the USD exchange rate. So the 400 version will be around 137k before taxes and shipping. If they will ship to Canada.. I hope so because i would like to get me one.
Washington State does not have a functioning system for our factory to conduct inspections. If that ever changes, we will add them to the map! NM is in our service area, just haven't updated the map yet.
I’d be concerned about the black exterior attracting more heat in those states where these are sold. The summer heat is over-the-top these years and is only going to get worse given the slow response to lowering our carbon emissions.
Yeah they never tell you. Whenever I look up the prices of these things if I'm even able to find it they're always being like 250 and $300,000. I mean holy crap I might as well just buy a normal house.
The knotty wood is not my personal preference either but I know many people with a large cash flow that like the character of the wood. 🤷♀️ To each their own.
@@angiespencer3854 Some people have no taste. Authentic modern homes typically use select clear (knot-free) wood paneling. It's more expensive than knot-ridden wood for a reason.
I appreciate your videos...I really do and you know I'm a follower/subscriber BUT...I'm going to stop watching the ones that features companies that ignore the eastern half of North America or are based on another continent. Let's face it, if I have to have it shipped from the other side of the country or Lithuania, it becomes cost ridiculousness. I know it's kind of like shooting the messenger and it's not your fault. but enough already with all these companies who seem to think the eastern half of North America is not worth their notice.

The prices are insane. You need to put the home on a concrete pad with a foundation, connect to a septic system and well, and have land to put it on where zoning allows this type of house. Maybe even hurricane/tornado tie downs too. I think it's unaffordable.

good idea!
The Amish are hopefully in NC now!! 🎉 They were looking for somewhere like a warehouse to stay while they worked a few months. ❤

Thank you for the tour! Everything looks lovely, but I noticed a key detail-none of the models seem to showcase any storage space.

Yes! November and early December will be heavy on those areas 👊🏻
Happy Halloween 🎃👻, thanks for my Thursday Kerry fix! I like the new plan, but still like the previous (400) plan more.
🥶🖤🔔👍🏻🥰
Happy Halloween to you too!🎃
Very cool ! 👍
I like the 500 version.
Do any of these places make a two-car garage to match the house ?
My car doesn't like to sleep outside.
Usually they’re built on site. Some companies pre build the panels
"If you hit it twice, it cancels out the first 'like'." Seriously funny. 🤣
Haha thanks
Happy pumpkin day Kerry.❤
Right back at ya 🎃🎃
Some very attractive homes, and the company has solid experience building and delivering homes!
Yeah they’ve been at it for a while!!
Mmmm...I like these models, both series. Thanks for your info and videos. I always enjoy them.

saw a couple of dents on the exterior, but looks good anyways... bifold doors are impractical takes up a lot of the patio space!

Not any more! Apparently "shed roof" is just too Dark Ages for the comsumer if Today! 😅
Is there anything real under $100k?
Weird that Washington state isn't included. Anyone know why?
Wondered that about New Mexico, too. They actually border that state. Different state regulations?

What is the cost
Nice stuff. But I think I'd want privacy for the bedroom - not full window coverage. I don't know what's with this new bedroom exposer craze.
Totally understand that!
If I were even remotely going to invest my money into One of these things, I would buy a few of them.
Nice!
Now to find something like this in metal stud.

Kerry tells you at the end of the video - $55K for the 200 sf up to $$125k for the 500sf. Good pricing even if that’s a base model without options.
Prefabs over $88/sqft make no sense
that is only because you conflate prefab with cheap.
I gotta say, I'm not a big fan of high-pitched roofs and furring strips.

Im working on a video for the Eastern states now and have more planned in the next month 👍
Our factory is located in Utah, and shipping oversized loads is extremely expensive to the eastern seaboard, up to $30k per module!!!!
