Hey Jeremy! That's awesome to hear! We had so much fun with the lasernut, editing the video made me just want to charge up the battery, go back out and bash!😁🍻
Mine i had to rebuild the center differential i shimmed it with 3 shims and it runs great !! I re did the front and rear as well it is a GREAAT RC !!! I LOVE IT !!! 30k in the center and 10k in rear and front
That thing is just SICK! I hear some saying that the electronics etc. in the Losi’s are not that great but I’m wondering what there being compared to because I see nothing but quality. There prices are definitely high but when I look at the models inside & out it’s hard to find anything that’s junk or performs bad. Now I haven’t driven one so I cannot say for sure how it performs but Losi has definitely gotten my attention.
if you buy one of these please google how to shim a diff and then shim and grease all three diffs. They will exploded within 3-5 batteries and the front shafts WILL pop before the 3rd battery lol. Once you shim and fill the fluids like it should of been from the factory it is my favorite car!
This is the rc my wife wants to drive. She loves it! You figured out this isn't a basher like an Arrma!!! BTW the steel drive shafts are easy to straightened. I changed the shock oil to 40wt that took some of the bounce out. Servo upgrade is a must with the huge tiees as is cranking the servo saver tight as possible. I put in my old trx4 stock servo, works fine. Adjust the endpoints helped steering alot too. Thanks for the review and cool video!!! I use mine mainly on the trail and rocks at a reservation near my house. The Lasernut will do most of the crawler trails, I just need to control the bounce. You're going to have a blast with this. It is unlike any RTR out today. Sorry for the babble, have a great day!
Thank you so much for sharing your advice and tips! Nevertheless we will still put it through the 4 levels of durability to see if it will achieve the Kiwi Tough stamp of approval! 😁🍻
@@TheRcKiwis Looking forward to it!!! 👍 One more thing, keep an eye on the tire glue, water got into my wheels and the foam deteriorated. Got new ones coming. Oh, I put the SCTE bump on mine. It actually looks good and really protects the front. No need to reply I'm sure you guys are super busy!!!
I have this! The rear tire acts like a brake on a roller blade during wheelie. I took it off and put a wing and a higher wheelie bar on it! Can’t wait to watch the video and get opinions. Thanks GUYS!
i love your guys videos a lot you guys aren’t like other rc youtubers that just put music over the video you guys actually talk and make it interesting
Nice to see a channel doing realistic driving instead of launching it 40 feet in the air and acting surprised something broke. I really like that car too, I’ve been trying to decide on one that has the ultra 4 look.
theoretically the car is really one of the coolest one but the problem was that the car all the time has broken something. it's to heavy for the parts....so i had to bring it back.
Sweet action guys - My next r.c for sure ! Also, just turn the battery 180 degrees from recommended, so the cable faces forward, and the cables should sit lower-profile.
You guys should review the Axial Ryft. I really want an off-road racer and right now it's a toss-up between the Lasernut and the Ryft. It also has solid front and rear diffs.
I’m having trouble between this, slash ultimate and a maxx they all are amazing from what I’ve seen On your channel which one would you recommend for speed and bashing?
For speed and bashing I would say the MAXX! If you also want to use at the track however I would then go for the Slash Ultimate or if you have a U4 track then I would go for the Lasernut! 🍻
I don't have one but really want one but can't afford it now. I do have a little bit of the money but not all of it . And yes like your content and reviews

I had the Lasernut, I kept sending it back for warranty issues until I finally had it replaced with a Kraton 6s v5. Drive shafts, and diff gears are the weak points. It drives awesome but has tooooo many issues. I’ll wait for a v2 maybe.
@@TheRcKiwis mine is coming in 4-5 weeks, the beginning of April. SBR 2.0 looks like a beast as well, but I have seen it rolls over quite easily + the body decals are all over the place. But I don't think you can go wrong with either 👌

Want this one, but just need to see some more videos on how it holds up after a good month or two. Different vehicles, but for me it's either buy the lasernut or one ff the Losi monster trucks? Thoughts for overall fun? Value?
Bro them lights are sick lol! Even more realistic. Ive seen this buggy on other channels but idk why Im seeing the lights turned on here but no one else did? They showed them but not lit.
Yet another great video from you guys !! Since you asked for other rcs that your viewers want to see in the future, how about trying out the Absima Torch or the Absima Assasin ?? Either 4s or 6s. Personally i would love to see these rcs being tested especially from your channel.
I think you guys gave the Lasernut a pretty good run, and overall it handled everything fairly good. I do agree with you on the points you made as people shouldn’t have to change driveshafts or axles after hitting a few jumps or from a day of just having a good time with your Rc, and yes they are fairly cheap, but who wants to do all the work replacing them all the time as that makes people turn away from using their unit as much as they’d like to and all because of the driveshafts being a little weaker than they should be, I also think a rear light would’ve been nice but I do understand there’s not much room back there to add one, but I do think all Rc’s should come with lights nowadays as they do offer a better driver experience being able to see what way your unit is facing and how far away it is as it does make a big difference. Keep up the Great Work and Vids ! Stay and Play Safe !! 👊✌️

Its nice, but for 500 id go with an associated truck or buggy. Id rather have a racing spec vehicle, where this is basically a basher until they start up a rock racer racing series. Plus for 500 the driveline shouldn't be bending on such little jumps.
I love love love my Lasernut! So glad you two got one. It's just so stable and smooth over terrain. Looks amazing. I got mine the week it came out and it's been run like crazy. I have had some complaints about the durability. Losi has been good about helping me out with parts and they've made some good running changes in production. I've done a bunch of upgrades- let me know if you want some advice on some parts! Edit: Hah had a chance to finish the video. Bent driveshafts! I broke one really early. Pretty light session for bent parts. I think it's due to those giant tires and wheels, really. No trouble with my lights. Stinks you lost a couple so early. Tekno and Vitavon (mmmmm Vitavon...) make upgraded replacements. I want the Vitavon knuckles, shafts, housings... I have like a $400 US wish list on top of the big $ I already spent. But this thing is an amazing platform for upgrades. You could spend a couple grand and get real benefits from each hop up!
What Bob said!!! I upgraded my diffs with TEN SCTE 3.0 diffs. That fixed the diff issues. I've run over a 100 packs through this. I changed the shock oil to 40wt, that took some of the bounce out. Great rig. I'd recommend waiting for the V2 although seems like some issues may have been fixed.
New subscriber, love the show and the reviews. I've mostly been a buggy driver but I was looking into moving into some bigger bashers and I think this might be the way to get into it before I drop $1000 on a big ARRMA or even more on something like an XMAXX. Thanks for the honest and helpful review. Looking forward to the next video!!
Great video guys. A pity about those shafts, and you didn't give it a lot of abuse. Not good that you need to replace them already. Another $100 for bigger shafts? Keep up the good work :)

Does the tekno steel driveshafts help at all?
@@danberger873 I did the Losi ones and fingers crossed no trouble after dozens of packs.
You guys have a nice TH-cam channel keep up the good work , we would love to see more of Hong Kong... thanks.
Thank you so much 😊
Epic video
100c? Can u use that?
Amber ,that was a crazy barrel roll.
I know right! I was like WHAT when she did that! She reckons she did on purpose too.. 🤔😅
@@TheRcKiwis let Amber think she did it on purpose. I've just been out with my Outcast trying to do the same trick.i can't. peace
Diffinitely need those Tekno shafts
Did you although Test the clone ZD Racing DBX 10?
Best wishes from Germany 🇩🇪
Hey there, we are wanting to get one soon and review it! Stay tuned 😉😊
Looking forward to it. Hopefully ferry soon.
Anything BUT trashmas or sLowsi! (Traxxas & losi)
Thank you Michael! ❤️🙏🏽
You guys are always BIG RIGS. I challenge you to do a LOSI MINI-B. Throw in a Brushless kit and hit a carpet track.
I don't think this truck is made for huge jumps but it's great for sand and dirt
New subscriber guys love ya
Awesome! Glad to have you with us! 😁🍻
Bruh kiwi lebowski I love it my friend keep up the good work
Thank you so much 😊
Great video guys. A pity about those shafts, and you didn't give it a lot of abuse. Not good that you need to replace them already. Another $100 for bigger shafts? Keep up the good work :)
IMO the Typhon at $500 is a more versatile vehicle. Also you would be over $500 when you add a smart battery.
We also own the Typhon! It's an awesome buggy need to get it back out! 🍻
@@TheRcKiwis I just hit 101mph on stock electronics with my Typhon on hoons tires.
Arrma typhon 3s
Man I just love the Lasernut! I would love to have one. Everyone says nothing but great things. Super sick video guys. For the next rc maybe something different 🤔 like a DR10 or some drag car.
It’s awesome, great fun and looks good 😜 Thank you so much 🙏🏽
