To get the wheel on the back take the inner red/orange ring off the tire then it will go on with the supplied screw.

I really love this car I have 3 Wltoys and start thinking to get some bigger Basher.
So I have 3 Cars in my mind.
1.DBX10
2,Maverick Quantum Flux
3 VRX Cobra
So right now all are similar price.
The Cobra have cheap supera parts.
Maverick Quantum need some CVD HD upgrade plus A arm upgras so at the 220€ you have to add other 70€ upgrades and batteries as it comes no battery.
Same on Cobra less expensive upgrades about 50€ and price is 216€
And then this ZD racing how in my opinion is the best looking.
Need some A Arms upgrade as it will breake for sure with my driving style.
And I haven't seen A arms nowhere and no metal or hard plastic upgrades.
So that's the main reason I don't buy it right now.
And also it didn't do backflips like I wished.
What do you think if you are in my shoes.
Would you go for the Maverick Quantum?
Did you testet it.
It would be great a comparison video of cars in same price range like 220-300€

Hey there! Yes, makerfire will be posting the spare parts on their website any day now. The arms do break easily which is a shame, other than that it was a nice car to drive! Sorry we can’t comment on those RCs as we have never driven or owned them. Perhaps someday though! 🍻

It's not worth it for $300 You can buy a branded RC car like Arrma or Traxxas or Red cat... For Chinese car is not worth it because in the future the company will stop there will not be spare parts it's just wasting money brother😊
This one shit...broke servo after 5 minutes
This car I junk! Bought 2 of them for my son and I and they break constantly. Shocks pull apart, dog bones snap, c-hubs wear making the oversized tires wobbly. No radio box. No help from zd hobby for parts. Do not recommend
Thanks for that, almost pulled the pin on one today, but lack of parts is a big turn off
I ran a 5900kv and it rounded the wheel hex and crack the other wheel. Yes you can put 17mm with adapter and extensions. The wheel hex are to long and the nut doesn't secure tight, ends up falling off. The truck is very tough, I flipped it cart wheeled it and nothing broke. Tires ballooned badly. I'll be putting a post on Facebook ZD Racing Group of wheel options. From RC Cars and Music. A good tire to use are Redcat Racing Dukono tires, very good I hit 40mph on grass and street.
To resolve your rock raceer vs desert buggy dispite:
Rock racer= front independent front suspension + live rear axel + cage buggy style
Desert buggy= front independent suspension + rear independent suspension + cage buggy style.
ZD DBX has front independent suspension plus rear independent suspension + cage buggy style therefore its a desert buggy not a rock racer.
Also the DB in its name stands for "Desert Buggy"
So it's pretty clear to me that Amber is correct with this point.
Just bought this rc yesterday, it should be delivered tomorrow. After seeing this video im happy to say im still new to rc racing, this being my 2nd car after i initially went for a smaller, brushed driftcar that costed half the price of this one, so it's all still new to me (but definitely a step up). Looking forward to my first brushless car :) It did take me a while to find an offroad car that i really liked, mainly because i dont like monstertrucks at all and prefer a more realistic look. My understanding is that in terms of capability a Rustler might have been a better allround offroad choice, but even a brushed version is still more expense than this rc car is (imho though the dbx10 looks way better). The Traxxas Slash was also an option, but again given the pricetag and the looks (and my concern when it comes to bashing) i had my doubts. Add the included LiPo & charger and it was a no-brainer really. If my new hobby survives the first year or so i might spend more bucks on a better car along the way :) But i do think i'll quickly order some a-arms and a better servo :D

The laser nut is pretty awesome but I’m waiting for an rc like these that can take a little more punishment. Love the way this and the lasernut just sail over hard terrain
Apples are smaller, harder, and redder. Less fun eating, easier getting there. Roughly equal left to dispose of. Bonus points for apple, you can't irritate your eyes like an orange peel.

Merry Christmas, Kiwis! I dig this segment of RC cars, rock-racer desert-buggy things like the FY-03, EAT04, DBX10, Lasernut - The best cars to put a panning servo and FPV camera into! Needs marshmallow-soft shocks and a tough cage, and I'm set! Thanks for the review!

I said a month ago I'd never swap over all my rc stuff to ic3 connectors. A month later, EVERYTHING is ic3 connectors. 😳 They r soooo much better to attach than all other connectors! 👍 (& I've been soldering since 1979!)

😅 zd racing DBX 10 brushless ,It's not worth it for $300 because. Put another $100 you can buy a really good RC car, like the Traxxas Rustler or Arrma Vorteks.. and Arrma Vorteks 4x2.. can buy that for $200 and you can make it four-wheel drive.. Plus it's Good branded reputed company.. I don't say zd racing dbx 10 is not a good car. it's a nice car but that kind of money is too expensive for Chinese car... I would rather go fo r Traxxas Rustler for that money... 😊

It lacks spare parts!!!! ZD R has no support for thisnone ec, it surely. is nice after swap from brushed to brushless, plastics are weak, hex screws easily get stripped.
That's what I will say after 3days of owning it.
And it's desert truck.
17:30 grab super glue and tire tape, fixed my left front like that
21:22 the wheels are not attached when car arrived, theybwere stored in plastic bag, screw to attach spare wheel is in bag with manual.
And the zipties are standard :)
BTW, 32T 48p works on this spur gear ,from Tamiya.
I have buy it! How to set the remote controle , to affect Channel 3 to LEds on/off. to set the throttle too sensible.. ? the manual is only a page...

I got mine 6 weeks ago. It's really fun and keeps doing wheelies on tarmac but... One the second run it broke one of the rear driveshafts, then the Lipo died, yesterday the main gear detached, but luckily we found it. I ran into the same problem with the spare tire. But the attachment pieces of it are in the charger box 😁 And it's strange that your car is brushless but has the body panels of the brushed one 😂

Hello guys! I do have the same rc car, I'm trying the DBX-10 already for 4 days and I do agree what you say. I don't like the servo but it's okey to start with the car. The battery I'll say that it's enought to be part of the rc pack. The design, is just amazing. But I have to say that I couldn't find that A arms front and rear that you broke, not even the supplier I bought the car from got them. I do have pretty much all the other spares but the arms if you could tell me where to buy them🙌 thanks for the review, I can't wait to see a video vs Losi Lasernut

Have been looking at this rc for a few weeks
Ok I have a few things to say. 1 if just getting into the hobby I’d have to agree on this purchase specially coming with battery and charger. 2. Im all honesty it performers better then some name brand RCs I’ve seen in person for around that price. 3. It honestly don’t look bad at all!! 4. Joe you think the UDR is bad fitting batteries into wait tell you get a Losi SBR. It’s not how much room for batteries BUT a heads up for you and amber. The genz battery leads are to short to plug into the car. Will have to solder longer leads or use your smart batteries😉. Ok and for the last one I about died laughing when hoe says this might not be for you if you have an xmaxx Kraton 8s or a Mojave. I have all 3 and I seriously couldn’t stop laugh cause I’d still buy something like that. To me it’s what puts a smile on your face at the end of the day 😊

Great video guys. They do say that practice makes perfect and it looks like the soldering is getting there, Joe ;) I assume that the tires are foam filled? For the price it looks like the DBX10 offers great value and if you were someone looking for an off road buggy that wasn't a "Basher" it would be a great performer for the money. Just be careful not to use those "Aircraft" batteries that need the altitude to keep them cool, eh? Keep up the good work :)

Other wise great video looks like a good deal any chance rpm makes a arm's for the car would be a good upgrade for it if they did

Wanted the orange body but guess orange only comes in brushed. I’m in USA and ordered from Banggood but didn’t see many replacement parts there or eBay. Notice some showed spare tire and other a wing not sure which is coming should be here couple weeks
