Remember that Atreus grew up in those woods, secluded from the outside world. To him, Kratos' absurd strength is his benchmark for what an ordinary person can do.

Remember: the leviathan axe belonged to Atreus’ mother. You’ll need both weapons - the blades for ice enemies and the axe for fire enemies.
They're gonna learn that the hard way lol

Shield : yellow flash means block JUST BEFORE being hit to parry. Red flash means unblockable and you must evade. Don’t stand still. Move around.
Work on increasing vitality. It increases your overall health and reduces how much you are staggered when getting hit and recovering.
Do more side quests, especially the ones for brok and sindri. They give really good armor, enchantments, xp, dialog, etc
Don’t turn your back on enemies. Keep them in front the best you can. Blades are great for crowd control.
Personally, I only use lock on for single enemies such as boss fights and Odin’s hidden chamber enemies, which you MUST get better at parrying AND evading for those 🙃)
What a great story, and it’s about to turn up from here…
Part 9 and people are still giving them the same tips they've gotten since part 1.. If they haven't learned how to parry/block efficiently or how the colored circles work by now then they never will. I gave up trying to teach them when to best lock on to enemies.
These dudes have been grinding! Absolutely love the non stop content on both channels
Block more often, guys - block is very powerful. There's only a handful of things you can't block, and most of them will be indicated with a red flashing ring.
100%, would suggest they do side mission areas and practice blocking with the shield with some mini bosses and enemies.
Maybe Oak can dress up as kratos next time?

The Great Winds of Hel Run of 2024 will never be forgotten - I think that soldier might of been easier lol. Also, you guys don't have to upgrade a runic attack to be able to use it. Can use whichever any time. Love the journey gamers!
It begins now that Kratos told Atreus that he is a God plus imagine how hard it was for Kratos to keep that secret because everything that happened in Kratos life in Greece 1000 years ago
hey, if atreus has never seen anyone else, the fact that his dad is super strong is the normal, not the unusual experience. to him everyone should be able to pick up a full tree, cuz everyone he knows can do it.

Use superior resurrection stones to continue boss battles if they health is close and you die, they be more clutch than the restart checkpoint button IMO🤷♂️
I recommend exploring more of the world and trying all the side quests that you can before finishing the game. It helps with xp and amazing upgrades
From here to the end of Ragnarok is where the story really hits its stride 🔥🔥🔥

And PS, when you see the red arrow at the waist just tap X to get out of the way it’s easier than just trying to block all of the time
Against Frozen enemies you can still use the Runic Attacks of the Axe so you have two more attacks to your arsenal.
28:40, you need Atreus`s SHOCK arrows to detonate that World Tree Sap.
Oak need to play slower and aware surrounding, he missed so many vases and stuff can be destroy along the way
and mason quin need to learn how to use a shield

2:20, if Kratos had a gun. He would probably want something like a beefed, supersized AK-47. "Pain we endure, faulty weaponry we do not." He would want something good at range, with great stopping power, and most of all reliability. So, if a typical AK-47 is a .20 or .30, you know what, just mod a Mock-Dues, so he can use it as a CLUB, and he`d be alright.
Gentlemen enjoy the game don't worry about getting everything right. You won't finish this game without dying or doing something the wrong way. Just have fun give us the honest reaction that's what we are here for. Don't think about viewers getting angry about something wrongfully done.
forreal like people have been watching gameplays on youtube for over a decade now. audiences are used to and enjoy seeing someone fail and learn. idk why they still think for some reason that failing something twice is something people will get bored of. No! play it out. some of the best gameplay channels out there are of people failing/raging
Ah... you left Freya's home too soon, even Atreus disappointed (this game just so detail), Freya will telling the story about how her relationship with Odin and how she live under a giant turtle

The things you have to look at on the blades of chaos runic attacks are: strength, burn, stun, and time
25:23 That bird sound means there is an Odin's Raven nearby. You've already missed a few of them but don't forget to hunt them down when you hear them.
You guys should do the side missions. You dont have to follow story first. Look at your map and see all your chests and items to collect percentage. Each realm needs to be completed. Better to upgeade faster for the main story.
Guys remember to do side quests and expore the Lake of Nine and other realms.
Gotta parry those yellow flashing strikes with a block at the right time guys, very effective way of not taking damage while giving you a huge counter attack window. Still loving the content though guys 💪
PLEASE BLOCK WITH L1! If someone was going to punch you in the face in real life you wouldn't just take it so please block (or dodge but that requires timing)
Was looking forward to see Oak and Answer react to Kratos’ reaction to being called the Ghost of Sparta… nothing 😕
They didn't even react to Athena appearing in the boat lol.. Im sure they already forgot 70% of the main story in GoW 1-3 besides the big plot points.

4:15, remember, he OBLITERATED Greece. And if these worlds are split into "realms", then "Greece" has been completey cut of from the EXPANSE of these worlds for hundreds if not thousands of years. So, the world that Kratos came from is an Ancient Civilization that would be comparable to, in Brok and the others perspective, Atlantis to us.

You guys are doing an amazing job with the main story of this game. It's also fun for me to see you guys solve a very long puzzle with the winds of hel to get a chest. I hope after you finished the main story, you guys could also finish all the side quests for more dialogues and more of "Mimir Tales" and boat stories, also more God of War content. Great job guys! By the way, I have a question, why is this tagged as reddeadredemption?
"discretion is sometimes the better part of valor" but it is not as big a part of valor as hiding behind your shield when someone is taking a blatantly obvious swing at you....

Just a tip for what i feel you guys need to improve on the most to get better, yous seem to be in "modes" when in combat. Youll be all attack, all block or all dodge but you need to blend them together. Dodge an attack, get a few hits in, block/parry, hit some more........ Not tryna be an A hole, just thought i could help with a little constructive criticism on where to improve. It's not the easiest thing to master which is why yous are struggling a bit as you need to pay attention to everything going on and whilst also thinking of each of your posdible moves all while in the heat of battle

You guys should play Ghost of Tsushima at some point. I think you might like it.
They'll miss every parry. They'll never dodge undogable attacks. They'll ignore all ghost weapons. They'll ignore all blue side quest. They'll ignore every stance and stick with just 1 for every enemy. They'll never sheath their katana after a fight getting badass points.
Yeah that sounds like fun watching. Even a simple game like Ghost of Tsushima seems too complex for them.
Oh and they'll talk over the 10/10 cutscenes and dialogue.

It amazes me how Quinn can use the sheild to fail the same puzzle for 30 minutes but never use it once in battle. I am screaming in my head. 🫠 every enemy is unbeatable if you stand still and take every hit.
It's crazy how easy the game gets when you're not a psychopath like me and choose give me a God of War on the first playthrough

Hey Zac!! Me too, the addition of Quinn to these game plays has definitely improved my mood! I know normal folks get frustrated w him, but those of us that know & have followed these guys know that having Quinn will always make it so much more entertaining. I watched my oldest play this game alot so I'm so happy they picked this one. Most of games I had time to play were before my twins became toddlers so thus is so fun for me. Glad u still seem to be feeling ok.❤💞❤️
