Dougo I think you're in hot water. Lol!! Happy Anniversary Dougo and Amy!! Your landscape and new seeding of grass is is amazing.
Blessed! Thank you ☺️
happy anniversary to u guys
Bring the fork for the skid steer and set the crate on the ground ,load it corner to corner.
You guys r Gems great video❤
You know what they say teamwork makes the dream work.
The garden looks fantastic and that lake view never gets boring
Just listen Dougo. Life will be easier.
Happy Anniversary hope you have many more wonderful years together.
Green! The new color for Summer? You'll need to do a light feed on that grass before Winter. This way with the Spring thaw you'll have a good root system. Then you'll need to do a weed and feed routine twice a year to keep it all nice and the weeds under control. Don't forget Grubex in the spring (good for 2 years) to control the grubs and to stop the moles and voles from taking up residence in it.
We have Mennonite colonies and Hutterite colonies in Canada. I wondered where you were going with that one. . . . That is nice to have family over. Once you experience grief, then you can help others. Take care. Dougo, you missed grabbing the opportunity to have Amy pull your finger. 😂
Happy Anniversary 🎉 Doug and Amy. Love you guys. Watching you both together does my heart good. You both restore me. A beautiful Christian couple. I look forward to seeing your weekly update around the house/yard etc. it’s great to share your happy and sad times. At least you’ve both got God with you, as you do life. Take care & God bless.
Leave the grass Amy, move the hostas!! They’ll help fill out the dead spots from the mysterious Roundup killer
Mysterious…yes.
It always is good to see you guys together
Us people who "know", know Dougos way of thinking and doing things 😁. Looks like the project is coming together slowly but surely and in the end, it will look very nice and everyone will be happy.
Happy anniversary enjoy your day
Thanks for another great video.
Happy Anniversary to Amy and Dougo. You both have a great day and enjoy your anniversary.
Your yard is looking great. Lots of green grass. They did a great job on it.
Very nice.
Thanks for everything.
The Iowa farm boy.
Happy Anniversary and God Bless your Family 🎊
NO MORE ROUNDUP DOUGO!😁
That’s how the Amish live! They just build onto the main house & have several gens under 1 roof. They’re the hardest workers I know too. They all do different jobs.
Dougo get the forks & set tub on the ground simple fix!!!
Hey there Doug and Amy, I hope this finds you well? 🙏
Dougo, you need to apply a good "starter fertilizer" (Scotts) to your grass now, that's why you have all of those light green spots.
Later this Fall, you should fertilize again, with a good "Winterizer Fertilizer" (Scotts) low in Nitrogen (15) high in phosphorus (25) and high in potassium (15) to grow the root system this Fall and Winter, which is what you need if you're going to have a nice lawn, one that will be more heat and drought resistant. 👍
I hope y'all have a good one! ❤
Happy and a blessed Anniversary Amy and Doug. You know Doug, that basket is wider diagonally. Just thought I'd throw that in.😅
Ok Doug, you better call Rick and set him straight about that spraying business before Amy gets after him. That would be bad.
Happy anniversary you two, and many more!!
Wishing you both a very happy anniversary!
Lol. We better warn him.
Amy is sounding feisty Dougo! Better watch your step! if you kick that crate at a 45 you would probably be able to get that bucket in there
Sorry for your loss, losing a sibling is tough.
People are homeless, hungry and lost. I'm grateful for everyday the good lord gives me to bless others. ❤️ I am my fathers full time live in caregiver. We are not the same now. I keep praying. He has dementia and cancer. Some days I break down its too much for me but he doesn't have a clue. I'm the last living child. I'm blessed. I know what my purpose is..
Happy anniversary to you both
Happy Anniversary guys!!
1 gal vinegar with 1 cup of salt and 1 tsp dish soap to move from round up.
Happy Anniversary !!
Yard looks great Amy!
Happy Anniversary , I love your videos Ms Amy and Dougo.
Happy Anniversary!! Amy, I have a couple of those happy/sad dates, and some years are certainly better than others. August (most of it) is one of my triggers. However, I truly have found that as years pass, some of the pain passes. One certainly doesn't ever forget or get over the pain, but it does become a bit less. Blessings as you press on.
The yard looks so much better. Great job you two.
You could try using vinegar instead of the roundup. I use it to kill weeds on my sidewalk. Just a thought.
Rocks are done.... I love all those fabulous tools you have to get the job done right the first time.
Nice looking yard and view, I like the lake side slight hill vibe. We need to get some Azalea’s, Rhododendrons, maybe some bulbs from Tera Cia here in the Blacklands of NC to you, you pick some bulbs out from the Tera Cia web site I’ll pick them up & mail them to you FoC. Don’t let it bother you Doug that they can not Comprehend your Wisdom, they all need time to catch up.
Doug sounds like he's wants to be like the Amish wants to live in a group have their own thing to do also happy anniversary🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Study on the Amish before commenting
@@kenhofer8063 he have Amish friends I know about the I was just kidding
Awesome video Amy.
Guess the worst of my bad days was back in March and April. Was thrown in the hospital against my own will. Just before they put me in a room for the next 3 days they informed me that I was having a diabetic heart attack. But they couldn't understand why I wasn't feeling any pain. When they sent me home they also sent 2 different insulin meds along with with other crap. Then told me I'd never know what life is like without needles anymore.
Spent the next month with my blood sugar going all over the place. (People telling what I should and shouldn't eat). Best thing I done was started ignoring all the know it alls. Decided what I was going to stick to as far as a diet to try and get the blood sugar under control. Finally seem a endocrinologist and a dietitian.
My blood sugar went from 11.9 down to 6.9....
Then since Aug 2nd I've been off all insulin. Talked with the dietitian and she said that my blood sugar is on track to reading 5.3 in October when I go back to see the endocrinologist.
Everyone is shocked to see that I'm off all the meds this soon. They said it's very seldom they see someone take a diet that serious and try and reach a goal of less than 6 months on insulin.
Did I mention that I hate needles?
BTW Happy Anniversary guys. 🫶🫶🫶
Do you eat an all meat diet now? Dr Ken Berry is an awesome source, fellow diabetes here in same boat! Great job to you!
@sallydunbar1683 no. I've heard of some that do. I limit my carbs to 40-45 per meal. I usually will split it between grains and fresh or frozen fruits, or some canned fruit that are canned in juice.
My dietitian said that if I'd like I could slowly raise the carbs some seeing that I've been strict with them.
@sallydunbar1683 BTW thank you. It took some doing on getting things under control. Biggest thing I learned was to ignore the ones that was telling me what I should and shouldn't eat. Everyone's body is different and they react differently to certain carbs.
I've slowly added new things to my diet, but it's all in my control now. I keep a close eye on the numbers.
Didn’t account for wind when spraying roundup at my son’s home and wiped out one of his arborvitae 😢. I feel your pain, Amy!
Hope you guys had a wondeful anniversary. I understand your heart still hurting Amy know matter how long they are gone it still doesn't get any easier. Hugs to you Amy.❤
Wow! Who knew Dougo is a hippie that wants to live on a commune ! LoL
Hey Doug you should have used the bigger skid loader it has a higher lift capacity than the little skid loader
Happy anniversary, I am very happy for you. You have to make it special for both of you. Time stands still for know one. You are amazing people who deserve the best out of life.
Happy Anniversary ya'll! The loss of loved ones takes a piece of us with them but the memories remain! Nice hoodie Mrs. Amy!
😀👍👍👍
Very nice video! I have heard when you share your grief it lessons, also when you share your joy it increases. Thank you for sharing with all of us!
Happy Anniversary you 2, the lawn looks great!
Nice try Dougo with the shifting of the blame to Mail man!
Good try. Lol
We planted our potatoes on top of the soil under almost 2 bales of straw. First time trying it this year & everyone said “don’t use hay bc you’ll have all the seeds growing”.
Thought I had the only husband that likes to make hostas disappear with roundup. 😉
Happy anniversary Amy & Doug. Dougo...could tell by the way you reacted when Amy mentioned that that important date was "tomorrow"...bettin' you had to make a "quick trip to town?!" Don't get your rural carrier upset with you. That always ends not well! Grass lookin' green and great! Amy , I hope that your visitors help take your mind off of your loss, if not but for a short while! Be safe you two! PEACE!
Dougo could always use volunteers to help out around the the place. Trouble is he won't share the Mello Yellow 😂
Put rain catcher on corner of porch, easy to get to.
Happy Anniversary Doug & Amy ❤
Happy Anniversary ! 🎉🥳
I would like to see photos of you two in the real early years of your life
Happy Anniversary, great couple!
Get some sheep! No mow November!
So when is the big day for Chet he definitely deserves to be happy with as much as he's been through as well as the entire family God Bless you guys great content and prayers for you Amy and Doug
Get a weather station (wind speed, chill, and direction; rain; temp; humidity) with the tripod mount and put it down next to the lake. The equipment sends the signal to a base station in the house.
Happy Anniversary 🎉 Amy and DougO
Dougo, the weeds in the new grass was a teachable moment for you. Jesus taught about the tares in the wheat.
I have just been studying these passages.
Put Amy in the Bob and have Doug shovel.
I love my mom, but this would be an unwise decision. 😂
@@stoneclaytonlarson :)
The good and the bad will always come and go, the assurance in our Savior is always there.
I like Doug's idea of families sharing one house, it makes sense to me too.
I’m not signing up for that one.
Lol@@amysblessings
Just spitballing here ... perhaps not.
