Amy, Howdy! I do believe I heard a "Jake Brake" when Doug pulled in! A new driveway for personal use AND deliveries is an excellent idea! I think one "round" driveway will be the way to go! 👍👍
They love their Jake brakes. Neighbors, maybe not so much.

Amy, you did all right, because with doug being taller than you, it gets you both in the shot when he holds the camera. You'll eventually get the camera figured out, and i think you can probably even edit, if chet helps you with the thought that you don't have any experience. If you have to keep putting out video's without editing, that's fine, because you and doug are entertaining without the editing, and you do so well with it. G-d bless, and thanks for putting this out, because you are real, and trying to do something for the glory of the Lord.

My grandpa had a trail around the farmhouse. One of my uncles was told that could not go to go to town with grandpa. Manley was about 6 or 7 years old. . . . so he decided to get out his slingshot. As grandpa rounded the corner of the house, Manley let fly with a shot. It broke the windshield on the family car. Manley got his little rear end warmed up that day. 😂
Great video, the yard starting to come together. Doug will look out the window this winter, and just smile.

Believe I follow you on the drive way construction. A round about type driveway would be nice. I believe that is what you folks are doing.
Glad you got a company to do the water sprinklers and seeding the yard. That much less you have to contend with. Seeding is not an easy job. Hopefully it will grow good for you.

Hi Amy,
We had deer problems with our hosta's also. If you get some bar's of Irish spring soap and cut it up into four chunks and spread them around your flower bed. You will probably need several bars depending on how many beds you have. There cheap and won't hurt anything. Also I told the boys about this awhile ago, it helps to keep mice out of your tractor's and trucks.
It worked for us.

Amy. Don't get embarrassed with any camera work you seem to think is a type of measurement of how we see you. You couldn't more wrong about that. The biggest reason i watch and enjoy all the Larson content (from the farm to Dougo mumbling / ranting and also bits and pieces that you clearly feel is meaningful to you and that is why these personal experiences are the ones you share with us. Thank you.
The bloopers etc in the Larson content shows us how you are human and experience life just like we do.
channels i don't enjoy are those that are over repeated scenes and even over edited / reworded lines to display how perfect they expect us to think they are. ACTUALLY JUST TELLS ME HOW FAKE THEY ACTUALLY ARE.
Keep sharing your content just like you do with minimal editing. You are doing a fantastic job.

I believe in winters it makes sense. And like you said, if it works you can eliminate the original drive if need be. Always a real pleasure to see you both. The sprinkler machine is a mini-tile trencher! Sooo, Dougo can get a big one & use it for tile. There, that’s why he needs one!
As a ground prep guy, I cringed at putting stone directly on top of sod. That's a big no no where in from 😂
I brought that up as well. There is so much clay under the few inches of black/clay colored soil that it has worked so far. 👍 I understand the cringe tho.
@@amysblessings I kinda figured that was the case. Eventually sod turns to mud, when its between clay and gravel. Than it starts pushing up through the gravel, like the farm driveway this spring. As long as its not 4 inches thick or more, and you lay down 6 inches of stone, I dont see a problem. A consequence of that is trapping water on the high side. Im sure Dougo has thought about all this already though. Love the short insightful videos and scriptures you share 👍🏻👍🏻

Put the Sprinkler on a Motion Detector and it will scare the Deere Off!
They want to scare the deer from munching on the hostas! Scareing the Deere off helps no one but iH Case, Fendt, New Holland, Claas, Versatile, etc....

Sure is dry with the wind Millennial said the corns starting to show stress, I noticed the yard grass starting to also show stress hope it rains soon.
