I was there once as transit for 18 hours on my way to China, I took a taxi to Dubai mall walked for 2 hours had overpriced late lunch went back to airport hotel boom 100 US dollars for 2 taxis and steak. Went to bed at 7 pm and woke up by 6 am had breakfast and went to airport directly and never went back nor felt that I want to. It lacks warmness and I am not talking about weather. People should stay away from that creepy country

I have stayed in dubai for 13 years. To be frank the dedication the dubai ruler is insane he really has a vision for his people..that's why dubai as an emirate is more famous than uae. They do care of environment more than any country i have seen as they have lot of income.. Overall it's a great country to be in...extremely safe..and peaceful But expensive and have a good job.. Peace.. I think it's time to appreciate them...and learn..

Actually not in Dubai’s case, the UAE is a federation of monarchies so each has it’s own economy and oil makes less than 1% of Dubai’s GDP.
