You missed one of the best peeks in the game. The "uncrouch". Certain angles let you crouch walk into them, and then release crouch to peek them. Most headshot angles are like this (back site b on dust 2) but some also exist like cat on dust 2 towards goose, you can crouch walk up the stairs and uncrouch to peek goose. It's one of the fastest hardest to hit peeks in the game, makes no sound and reveals the least amount of body possible. Only downside is the only thing they can hit is your head
I love holding stairs crouching near double on nuke. People “clear” stairs without acknowledging the blind spot that only appears when you get close to them. I prefer it over holding around the corner or an angle in control room since peakers advantage

the jumping peek(for info) has 2 variations, the one you mentioned and one you jump forward strafe left/right a small amount to just barely see the enemy and at the peek of your jump press S and the opposite direction you strafed and you get yoinked back down behind cover, it takes some practice but against awpers you can see them very fast and it's really hard to hit you even if they are pre-aiming you, s1mple used this a lot in GO and it still works in CS2, it's imo better than the shoulder peek against awps since you can't see the awpers with a proper shoulder peek
why people call xantares peak ferrari peak will always confuse me 😢 he's a legend. And you used Xantares as the example video for ferrari peak as well, oh my oh my. It also needs to be close to the angle for the effective speed and a bit wide
Actually if you perform the jumping peek perfectly with a scout then you are accurate at the highest point of your jump and you can accuretely jump peek from any distance. If you hit your shot at the right place in the air while counterstrafing then it's the most powerful peek in cs. It's the hardest peek to do in cs.

ferrari peek is worse than standard peek with highping, becuase when you accelerate on highping the netcode will place your slightly ahead to compensate your highping, but when standing close to a corner and peek instant, there is no way for any netcode in the world to let you peek earlier then you pressed it.
for a filthy casual, wide peeks imo are the best peeks. i miss my awp shots far more often if enemy runs by my croshair, instead of stopping dirrectly on my crosshair where i expected them to stand (in accordance with my slow 220 ms reaction time). Sometimes my wide peeks are actually what you showed initially. i wont stop, ill just continue looking down, head moving, jumping forwards from cover to cover, now i doubled the angles enemy needs to look at and because im first to peek, enemy is NEVER ready for it, ive never been tagged when doing this. immagine youre holding an angle with awp and then some random just jumps out of the corner dashing over your croshair, youre likely to miss, now you have to look for the second peek and the angle i went to.
I will give you a coubter point for running and jumping peaks. I found that in cs2, the pp-bizon has an unaturally good jumping accuracy. Therefore, using this gun with jumping peaks at close ranges tends to allow a great advantage because no one really expects this.
Now to be honest my counterstrafing game and peeking is not that good but that alone can be compensated by how well my prefiring works. Also im stupidly lucky with jump peeks.
