My advide is to use the scout for a bit, it really helps with the flicks onto the head or body for when you do get awp you can get the flicks to the easier
1. Buy awp on eco round after saving and losing 3 fullbuy rounds in a row
2. Die immediately to a ferrari peek in mid

I’m a pretty aggressive awper (player in general) and here’s some tips I’ve found to be effective in my 24k+ and Faceit lv 10 games
1. Find your bad eco guns; find smgs, pistols, and shotguns you are comfortable with. I in particular find that the mag-7 on CT and the mac-10 on T are amazing options for quick early kills that can help win saves, as well as give you that sweet kill reward
2. Develop a flow for your game. Watching pro awpers (kennys, m0nesy, s1mple for aggro, dev1ce, zywoo, and jame otherwise) and see how they stay active and are always processing quickly. As an awper you are a unique threat to the other team at ALL TIMES, so by spreading your map presence and having set routes and angles you are good at fragging from you’ll be a much bigger nuisance to the other team
3. Get good at cqc. Especially if you want to T side awp, you have to learn to quick scope, noscope (when you have to don’t be an idiot), and how to swing with the awp without slowing down by scoping. Aim duels will get closer and closer as the round goes on and you don’t want to be a decoy once bomb is planted
4. Be unpredictable. Just because a peek worked like 3 times in a row doesn’t mean they’ll keep feeding you, switch it up, and always keep them guessing where you’ll be early and late in the round
5. COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR TEAM. Everyone hates the awpers who get a kill, die instantly and give up mid control. Tell your team when you spot multiple, if you’re flashed or smoked. Ask for flashes and refrags, get people to hold your off angles
6. Get good at rifling. This is an odd one but especially if you’re gonna be an aggressive player, you won’t be able to have an awp every round. You don’t want to be a liability if you don’t have 5750.
7. USE YOUR UTILITY. Make the other teams lives hell. If you’re doing your job right the other team is gonna do their best to flash/smoke you. I especially find in CS2 that frags are a godsend for getting a quick kill through a smoke before repositioning. Make sure you molly your blind spots, and uses flashes whenever.
8. Be a leader. Especially when you’ve got the most expensive gun AND are trying for entries, call strats for yourself and others, tell your teammates what you need from them. Ask for boosts and baits, tell them to trade you when you’re entrying. And most of all ASK FOR A DROP IF YOU DIE. If you do everything right I’m sure they won’t mind giving you an awp if you’re 32-14.
Perfect tips. Also Something interesting also is to adapt "zoom sensitivity". Mine is 1.07 in order to accelerate while i scope for flickshots, but keep good slow aim with rifles

As a Valorant player, everyone being able to use the AWP in CS sounds crazy to me.
That's why utility is also overpowered in CS, not everyone in valorant can flash or smoke or molly or nade an awper, but everyone in CS can

Honestly, awping isnt that hard if you have good aim and good aimsense, the worst problem is that people mostly play with randoms, which makes it that much harder to be an impact player than when you are playing with a premade team that has good communication

Bro forgot to say if you arent the guy with quick reflexes and amazing sense control, dont even think the quick thinking part is going to save you.
(Plus, play aggresive, dont turn into an Old awper, awp is all about surprising the enemy and going away, its all about getting the important kills and putting pressure into the other team, always play with a rifler covering along with you so he trades you and you trade him, dont be shy to call for a 2nd awper and learn to use the eagle please, dont use smgs as an awper you have to learn how to play with pistols and the deagle is way better in an eco than a p250 with kevlar and also better in a half buy with kevlar and nades for support instead of a mac, kevlar and helmet.)
The AWP is still the easiest weapon to kill in my opinion. It works best for me. I don't think they screwed it up in CS2. But according to the bigger head hitbox other weapons like Deagle or AK make it a hard time to conquer with that expensive AWP in your hands. One shot and you are gone. I tend to use the cheap Scout instead which has greater moving mobility and it feels even better to kill with it because it is much harder.

Unpopular opinion:
Awpers need to be run and gunners on off rounds and embrace the smg.
The Strat is complicated, but works 50% of the time all the time.
Buy mac 10, spot enemies, hold W + Mouse 1, Profit.
