  • If your clutch is “creakin, popping” or even “squeaking” when pressed/re-leased, this video could save you a lot of time.
    This will work on pretty much any manual trans with a slave cylinder.
    Glad to help!

    Now that was a big help. I don't have a WRX, just an Impreza R with that very problem. Thanks,

    Nice lighting and camera angles. Music during your work is a bit loud though!

    Isn't that too much grease? It may lead to a clutch contamination.

      I did not have an issue, but you do bring a valid point.

    Hello! And is it working properly since then? Didnt you have any issues with the clutch fork? I am asking because we did the same to avoid that noise but after a while it just broke :(

    buddy, i followed your steps but i can't seem to place back the rubber boot to its original spot on top of the clutch fork, is it a big deal? thanks.

    • @Kamshaft
      @Kamshaft  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah it kind of is a big deal as you don’t want dust/dirt getting in there. Keep trying till you figure it out.

      @@Kamshaft thanks for your reply buddy. i got 2016 wrx and the clutch master cylinder is in the way to place the rubber part back. in that case, im thinking of removing the master cylinder and place the rubber part back again. is that anything i should watch out for? is it okay to remove the master cylinder and place it bacl? thanks

      @@Kamshaft my bad. the slave cylinder. is it okay to remove it and easily place back? thank you so much!

    • @Kamshaft
      @Kamshaft  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@liangfengrui1990 it’s easy as long as you don’t remove the line that’s attached to the slave cylinder or you’ll have to bleed the clutch. And when you remove it make sure you don’t loose the pin in the slave, sometimes it will fall out, it just rests in there. Otherwise, very straight forward.
