Yes and he also played the flute in the Eagles. I like Joes drumming on Turn To Stone better than when I saw Don Henley play it with the Eagles in 80 Long Run Tour 25 rows up Florida Field I was 14. Don Felder and Joe Walsh made the Eagle Famous without Hotel California and The Long Run albums they never would of been that huge. Plus Joe Walsh and Don Felder made them so much better. What's crazy is Glenn Frey was a jerk about a lot of things like money and he was the first one to go. Like Larry Holmes said God don't like ugly.

@@joewalsh6633Just want to thank you so much for the ongoing inspiration sir. Music is the most powerful energy in the universe, going through some rough waters at the moment, but as long as I have my Les Paul, a decent amp and these songs, it’s all I really need in life 🙌💯🎸❤️
I saw him play once, and never have I heard a guitar tuned like he did! He rolled the string off, then up right into the note , and you could hear the tubes in the amp all lining up...phenomenal ears, amazing !
In the 70's at SF, Winterland they had no sound ordnance or curfew for groups to playing. Many played until the crowd thinned out at 2 am. Deep Purple was the loudest I ever heard.

Fantastic guitarist and zany fellow too! One of my most memorable moments in a 30+ year ham radio "career" was the night I heard this unmistakable voice on the 80 or 40 meter band I was tuned into....heard the callsign and first name so I looked it up in the database: sure enough, THE Joe Walsh gabbing with his pals. The older I get and the more live performances I see for him, the more I think Joe Walsh might be the most underrated guitarist of all time.
He was always one of my favourites. he can sing too.
