is there a way to do it for 3 seamless posts instead of 2??
Yes there is! The standard aspect ratio for Instagram is 4x5. What we did in this video is 8x5 basically doubling the width because we want to stretch it across two photos. Because Lightroom doesn't have 8x5 and only 16x10 we used that because its the same thing as 8x5.
If you want to do 3 photos across you need to multiply the width by 3. So the aspect ratio of 4x5 would now be 12x5. So if you bring your photo into Photoshop or can find an app that allows you to crop your photo at an aspect ratio of 12x5 than you can do it. It's probably easier to download the app SCRL and just use that to do it!

For some reason this cuts out a large chunk from the middle of the photo for me? Cropped the photo by 1080x608, exported it twice, hit 5x4, etc. middle is completely gone. Any advice?

Can this be done with a panoramic photo with like 7 slides?
You can do this many slides but not this method unfortunately. I'd recommend doing it in Photoshop or downloading an app like SCRL!

samsung's photo editor sucks as heck, there isnt a 5:4 aspect ratio for cropping, and lightroom itself doesnt allow me to crop it properly using 5:4 since it shows me the original image when pressing crop

Typically when I post them to Instagram, I'll add 10 to my sharpening to each photo on the Instagram app. Instagram seems to compress carousel posts more.

Only for landscape?
Yes! The reason why it's so popular is because people want to take up more screen real estate with their landscape photos. You could technically do it with anything, it would just take some different scaling
I did this and it was awesome but came back to my post and notice one of the picture was misaligned (by not much though) did i mess something up?
Only thing I can see is when you cropped the photo to the left and then the duplicated photo to the right. It maybe wasn't fully off to one side before cropping

You want 3 photos wide? Technically it would be 12:5 or 24:10, however not too many phone apps allow you to type in a custom aspect ratio like this. Photoshop on the computer would let you or you can use just use the app SCRL to create your seamless posts! You can go as wide as you like!
