  • Giving you a Canva tutorial today on how to create a seamless carousel post for Instagram. Carousels are really great tools for providing education to your client or showcasing some of your favorite photos in a creative way.
    You will need Canva Pro to access the re-size feature, but I highly recommend it especially if you are launching your Photo Booth business. Trust me, you'll be using it a ton!
    The website I used to cut the image into the grid is: mysocialboutiq...
    I'd love to see how you use this in your next Instagram post!

    Or click:
    File - View settings - Add guides - Custom - Columns (number of slides) - Gap (0 px) - Add guides
    It should automatically lock the guides in place, too, so you won't move them by accident while making your design 😊
    If not then:
    File - View settings - Lock guides
    I also always have my margins on to make sure my design will show within the "safe space"

      Heard about boost app from a mate. If it's as good as you say, I might have to give it a try!

    Very helpful! But I don't understand why Canva doesn't have an option to to split the images up. Why do I need to go to another website?

      Wouldn’t that be awesome lol
      You could always design a square and make your best guess on the alignment 🤷‍♀️ it’s just easier to use the other website

    Thanks!! This is super helpful! Love your concise way of presenting! Just wondering which step do you add the text to?

    • @ownyourmomentco
      @ownyourmomentco  ปีที่แล้ว

      Great question! You’ll want to add any text in canva before you download the image and before you cut it. Just like I placed the images etc, that’s when you’ll want to do any text. Just make sure you’re paying attention to the grid lines so you’re not ending up cutting a word in half (unless that’s intentional)

    • @ownyourmomentco
      @ownyourmomentco  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, do it on a computer and go to your settings to allow it to show.

    At 1:45 you say most important thing to do is make sure you have these grid lines - mine has NO grid lines. Can you explain how to do that please??

    • @ownyourmomentco
      @ownyourmomentco  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It’s a setting you can turn on (make sure you do this on a desktop computer)
      It’s explained in the comments as well!

    I multiplied 1080x10 for the width for a 10 slide carousel and it says it won’t allow it. Is there any way around this?

    Any help I can add videos to these carousel strips?? I’ve seen a few instagramers do, it not sure if they’re adding them after they split the pictures

    • @ownyourmomentco
      @ownyourmomentco  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yup they have to be added after they’re split
