Ive been playing guitar for a year, i watched this video, then two or three hours later, i could play it along with you! Thanks alot marty you are the best guitar teacher i know! :)
i literally know nothing about guitars or how to play one. My brother just got one and I love MUSE, I would die if I can play a riff or something like them. But I dont know how to play, should I start here, or look at another video?

I remember when I was a high school freshman, just after Christmas break, this senior guy named Rudy would play this non-stop and he would kinda "show off". I bet he played the same riff at least 3 dozen times in the span of a few classes. Long story short, this song got stuck in my head and I was able to figure it out by ear when I got home after his first couple of playthroughs and I was so proud of that feat. He told me it took him a week to get the speed down, and he was still awkward at it.

@NirvanaRules43 I also would suggest considering the Box Valvetronix line, as well as Line 6 amps. There are a lot of quality modeling amps out there, and don't be afraid to look for something used to save money.
This is better than that one other video where they only keep 1 half of the tutorial, and the rest you have to buy off their site. I mean, come on. This tutorial is HEAPS better.
@athenis1000 volume nob or volume pedal (you pick) for the chords in verse and chorus. thats what makes the hazy phasy sound. and sometimes a chorus pedal for the lick during the later verses.
7th fret on the B to do the 7/8 hammer on is way easier and cleaner to just use your middle finger on 7 and ring finger on 8, your hand doesn't even have to move left/right this way.
This is really helpful! I'm a beginner and I only just got my electric guitar today. I almost got the whole song down but I can't get that bend to sound right. I'm afraid I'll break the strings if I push too much. Any tips?

Unintended is very easy)
just find tabs and try. It is just an arpegio of some basic chords. You just hold a chord with your left hand and tabs show you which string to pick.
