I don't understand why people still listen to unwise people like politicians or news moderators. Everyone should listen to Eckhart instead! 😊

I'm puzzled by the number of commenters who praise/thank/worship Eckhart. He has described himself as 'a man sitting on a chair, talking'. I believe he allows himself to become, briefly, a conduit for the wisdom of the cosmos; it comes thru him, not from him. I think that if a person worships Sahdguru, Osho,Eckhart or a guru, they may be missing the point of all this. Pay much attention to the message. The messenger? Not so much 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Eckhart is so funny. It's so easy to laugh about the ego when he describes it...and he's spot on.

A wise and poignant explanation of narcissism as suffering that arises from being trapped by the ego. The way out is Eckhart's teachings ❤

  • @trans.mission

Eckhart wouldn’t use this video title. It shows an incorrect understanding to say “how the ego affects you.”

  • @shy6299

oh how we convince ourselves we are our ego and suffer until months later when we remember oh wait that isnt me!

  • @redbear4027

My guess is the Amish and Mennonite cultures do not produce narcissists.

  • @louisfifteen

In me: Who hates my ego? Who else is there? Who is listening to my ego? What would replace my ego and where would ego go?

I think I’m average looking. My friend was I thought good looking yet he said the same thing. This showed me that it is always searching for more even when you think it, at the same time you do not. This effects everyone. Looking for perfection. The search hasn’t an end.
