Try to find this on TV. This guy saved me. Saved me from what? My ego. I don't engage in arguments anymore, don't watch the news. I simply don't find it useful anymore. I found this video VERY useful. Die ego, die!!! lol. Eckhart if you're reading this I have read The Power of now and New Earth maybe a dozen times. I'm reading New Earth right now. Why do I keep re-reading them? Because my ego keeps wanting to take over and these books raise my awareness to stop it. This all leads to less misery in my life. Thank you!

It’s amazing what one can do with disabilities.
In my youth I enjoyed a healthy body and enjoyed weightlifting.
After a car accident, for years, I would cry myself to sleep from the pain.
I’m an ‘old’ man now 😊
50 years, and lift weights again - pain free - (for the most part)
      * even have a health channel journaling my experience
The thoughts of doubt and discouragement were definitely there…

Experiencing the unexpected recent passing of my 18yr old sister was a catalyst for the death of my ego. It “knocked me so hard” that it felt like “the ego was knocked out of me.” Death became real. Her leaving this earth in body form has taught me that we are not form just like Eckhart says. I am human so I have human tendencies and feel pain. But I am working on not identifying with “pain body” because I know her true essence is still alive. Thank you Eckhart for your teachings 🤍

I have a disability, my sight has been reducing over time. About two years ago, I was hit by what you could call the start of an awakening, which now I translate to letting my identity die while I move toward the essence identity. Appreciate the mention of disabilities here because I dont ever hear that spoken about in this context.

Find that in you that is beyond death.
    Find essence identity.
    Ego identity dies.
Form is still there, but identification isn't there.

I am so happy that you came through this situation and in touch with Eckhart… I had a near death experience myself back in 2020 a severe allergic reaction, which was very unexpected and I ended up in the emergency room and I remember about two or three months later my dog died unexpectedly, and the suffering brought me exactly 2 Eckhart first and the power of now and that’s where I began my awakening process it wasn’t something that I was thinking about. It just occurred naturally. I basically felt like I couldn’t take being the old me, which was very ego centered, and that I had to delve into who I really wasn’t all the shadows in the demons that were still there inside me I had to confront.
I have explored so many spiritual teachers, but nobody has ever resonated with me more than a Eckhart… and now my 24 year old daughter is reading his book. I have so much gratitude towards this man he has helped so many people.
I am happy you (and I) were two of them! 💯💯💯❤❤❤

When I was 12 years old, I would get much closer to that "essence." I would ask myself, "Who am I?" and I would experience it very profoundly. It wasn't like thinking about it, it was a very real and intense state of being. But, to a part of me (now I guess that was the ego), this state of being was very scary, so I would stop it immediately. I couldn't handle experiencing it for longer than 5-10 seconds, I felt like I was going to go insane or die because it was completely different from how I would feel in my everyday life. It was suddenly like a tornado of awareness, consciousness, energy - I can't describe it, but it was very, very intense.
One of my fears was that that's what dying will feel like. I don't know why I was convinced of that. And I (my ego, I guess) was scared to feel that way when I die. So I had these practices with myself, when I would get alone, I'd ask myself "Who am I?" until this state of being emerged, just to face the fear and to stop being afraid of it. This is what I was trying to achieve. But I could never get to a point where I wasn't scared anymore, it was scary every time. And at the same time, to a part of me, it was very liberating - suddenly nothing mattered, and I wasn't thinking, I was KNOWING that everything I thought I knew was just an illusion. There weren't thoughts like "Okay, I'm aware now, everything is an illusion, this is who I actually am", it wasn't like that. It was an intense state of being and knowing this without thinking about it, it was experiencing this knowledge, like a complete awareness of everything in me and around me. It wasn't like viewing it through the mind, it was really experiencing that state of being.
Another fear I had was that if I continued to live with this awareness, I wouldn't be able to function normally. I would go insane.
I also had moments when I would "freeze" in the middle of doing something, usually showering, and I couldn't move because my body felt like it wasn't mine and it didn't belong to me. It was so scary I couldn't move until I could come back to my normal state of being.
Now that I'm 29, I wish I could experience it on such a deep level again. Whenever I ask myself that question now, I do get some glimpses of that state of being, but I can't reach the deeper levels. I wish I could be in that profound state again and experience it like I used to.

    VERY true.🙏
Every word of this teaching is pure truth, said in truth and permeated by TRUTH in an (apparent) world of liars.
They don't even do it on purpose, many are not aware that they are lying anyway they do.
    We will leave everything.
We will leave everything we believed to be indispensable. We will carry with us only what we have donated which will echo for eternity if only to avoid stepping on a small ant on the sidewalk. ❤
You might as well resign or surrender, as you wish, NOW to the good of this boundless and loving PRESENCE that holds up the entire Universe 🙏
    So grateful 💓🙏✨✨🌺

This is such a profound video. As I'm approaching the beginnings of senior hood, and dealing with the daily onset of outside noise that invades our well-being every day, Prescence is the key to survival which sadly the rest of society has not found. Maintaining Presecence allows us to prepare for what is to come-the inevitable. "Find Death before Death finds you."

And I saw a True Light in the Spirit’s eyes, when I starred at them with very life in a situation of life or death!
      And I saw God!
And again, I saw my soul!

Gurdjieff was definitely an interesting teacher.
I transcend form identity through presence of course. In my meditation I seek to get so present as to find the spaces of non-existence within existence (or “the void”) as reality is energy or “wave” and there are always crests and troughs, like sound is actually not consistent but rather there are troughs of silence within the sounds.
If you can get so present to lose self identity and experience the interplay of reality versus non-reality or form versus void which happens many times per second then you begin to know God, or Spirit, or The Quantum Field and can transcend (without losing) form identity to discover true identity.

I'm remembering, as a small child, looking at my hand and the rest of me and feeling separate from it. It seemed to be a foreign vessel. I remember dreaming of a life that I'd had no exposure to for the dream to manifest from and I wondered maybe it was a past life memory. Or something in DNA memory, Idk.
When gradeschool age, maybe 7 or 8, I was lying in the front yard grassy ditch, looking up at the starry sky, and I felt the oneness with all very profoundly.
I've called upon God to pull me up out of deep despair and came shooting up surrounded in a bright white light... walked into a Target and had the sense that I knew everyone and loved them and wanted to reach out and touch their hair, but knew they would likely not know me so I refrained.
I feel blessed to have had several other experiences with the divine essence.

I think presence or happiness, it comes easy when your not trying to attain it looking for it, instead it comes in the simple moments out with friends, family people you connect with, could be as simple as watching a movie in the cinema, travaling the world prephaps venturing into a new country. Its when we try to understand with the mind it becomes this confusing thing when presence is simple, this is just what I understand on it

When we trade our ego or form identity for our true identity, we become connected to the unified field which is the source of all intelligence. It’s like trading your smaller self for your bigger self. It is tricky to know the difference. Some peoples form identity almost mimics their authentic self

How does it feel like to be connected to the source of all intelligence? I always struggled to understand that part. How do you know when you really have reached that level? Thank you my friend :)

Unconscious fear of death separates mind body giving birth to an ideal image ego a personal fantasy. To participate in your true essence requires overcoming the fear. Yes there is much in the understanding of this unitive knowledge manifesting from out of a new awareness, the awareness of Absolute truth.

Thank you for the video. May I ask how do people turn mad?? Are mentally ill people connected to their Being? Can they return and reconnect to Being? Or are we all mad to varying degrees? Thank you for the book the power of now ❤
