In my life i realised instead reading hearing so much of spiritual stuff...LIVING with introspection in all 4 major areas of life + meditation + being sensitive to others was much easier. 4 areas being 1)Profession, 2) family 3) health , social cause & Hobbies 4) finance . I sit every month, introspect and plan every month in my monthly planner. This is what i always tell my children what helped. I never force them to follow the above or my religion.

My take-away is that I'm responsible for my own vibrations. That's empowerment. This is one thing I can do something about. If I meditate, then I can be a source of positive vibrations. And the SKY Breathing technique he spoke of! Thank you Lewis Howes for this enlightening interview. 🌺

@rachelharvey9405 HIGHLY recommend checking out the SKY Breath meditation course. I can promise you this is not like any other meditation. THIS IS DIFFERENT and PROFOUND. It actually detoxifies your body. If you look up Art of Living, there are centers all throughout the US. Best to do it in person, if possible. The support you there is amazing. ☺🙏

I highly recommend to learn SKY Breathing with the official art of living course Part 1 ...and after that the part 2, the silence course, where you find deep peace, belongingness, contentment and energy for your life.

I truly hope that this movie Almost Sunrise can help a lot of people. While I will never understand the magnitude of what the vets go through, I do hope more and more people can bravely take the first step of proper healing.
Concentrating on our breaths is really helpful. It is simple but not easy. It can even be extremely hard some days, if not on most days. Having a supportive peer/partner/community makes the healing journey more bearable. I believe deep down we all have consciences, and it can become too painful to face ourselves. We start punishing ourselves over and over, for years and even decades. We could start hating ourselves more and more. It could become normal over time, and we don't even realize it.
To all the vets: It was the collective negative energy and you had very little control in those situations. The healing journey can take many years, and we can have many bad days. It takes patience and a little kindness to ourselves. Concentrating on our breaths, knowing that we are breathing and alive in this body helps us to focus on the Present moment. Gradually, we regret less about the past and worry less (or be less fearful) about the future. The crushing weight on our shoulders and chest that's been there for decades will come off.

Sorry for rambling on. I have just started my own healing journey and there is still a long road ahead. Addictions (even to loud noises so that we don't need to face ourselves), especially substance abuse are only quick temporary fixes.
    Forgive... and Peace to all.

Some poor people are happy and some poor are not. The difference is that the first group do not expect nothing, they just enjoy life, community, they have so much. While those who are not happy they have many expectations for their life, for others. Expectations create suffering. So do not expect nothing and you will have everything. :)

It's not popularized. (YET)... though I hope it will move in that direction because I think everyone could benefit from this incredible practice. But the technique he's talking about is SKY Breath meditation and is taught by teachers he himself approves at the Art of Living centers. I learned this breathing technique just a month ago and I am TELLING YOU... IT. TRULY. IS. LIFE.CHANGING. I barely get triggered. The sense of calm and peace is unlike anything I've experienced. It's something you just have to experience for yourself to really understand the full effect mentally, physically AAND emotionally. This technique is a treated with such a reverence and the results are not only profound, but immediate. There is science behind the results and it's on the website. It has made people go from depressed, anxious and suicidal to this profound sense of peace and calm that SUSTAINS. The method is about controlling the chaos within our minds and bodies. Must try for yourselves. Highly encourage anyone and everyone to do it. It would be the best possible gift you can give yourselves. 🙏💞

According to me when a person constantly compares himself/ herself with others they feel a sense of lack. This sense of lack triggers the taking tendency rather than the giving tendency . And as one grows older generally comparison stops and one is at ease with one self and giving starts.
So at an early age one should learn to stop comparing oneself with others and parents should teach that to their children. The child not only grows to be confident about himself but also develops a sense of abundance which in turn leads to a sense of giving.
