Berg which means mountain in German. Picture a big burger land on a paramount pictures mountain. Then see the star things fly around it with a transformers movie sound effect.
that's when you follow a full input method but you need someone or something to make the words understandable without translation. If you're just starting it's faster to have a translation to make things understandable and you slowly wean off translations (look ups are better, in a bilingual dictionary because they force you to do an extra step, maybe look at several sentences to figure out the right meaning in x context and therefore increase the familiarity with the right meaning) until you can finally just look things up in a monolingual dictionary. These steps are grossely equivalent to being A1-A2, then B1, then B2. From B2 you start to be good enough that most things you encounter you can recognize on the fly or think through logically for a few second. Technically the hybrid method he's using is faster than full input if you don't have access to a whole environment meant for that.

Do you really know how this method really work? Then you have to create sentences just using the language you are learning (the same sentences you learn through translations) and guess what ... you will be thinking directly in the language you are learning ...
Can you post a video of you actually demonstrating your language abilities. Am I missing it?
