What version app do you have? I just started yesterday and I cannot see where the uber eats delivery is going before I accept. I see the pickup of course but not the drop off until I accept. Also, if you don't hit the accept or decline button in time is it considered as a decline? Thanks

Does it tell you the Total time duration and miles for pickup and drop off? OR just a pickup miles and time ( I’m just wondering how about we never know how much distance would be after picking up customer) ? Sometimes customers goes to long distance/weird areas where you don’t wanna Go, so how you would know that?

Hello there! I ve been out of the country last 12 years. My driver licence expired 10 years ago. I am coming back to state and my old driver licence clean and 12 years of driving experience in the past. Am I eligiable for uber drive after renew my driver licence? Or do I need 1 year after renew my driver licence. Thank you 🙏
I have that no one seems to address is when should a driver swipe the blue confirm stop confirmation swipe. Is it as soon as you get there, or just as the rider jumps back into the vehicle and you are then ready to proceed to the next stop, or it doesn't matter?
Hi just a quick question. While I’m doing a ride sometimes the destination of where the passenger is going disappears, how do I bring that back up?
I have a question. When I’m on my way with a writer to their destination I sometimes will receive a ride request popping up on my screen. I usually just let it lapse off and continue on. Does that show as a denied ride and what happens if I hit except that ride While I currently have a passenger in the car.
It would have been nice to see how you use the app to do pickups.

When you were in destination mode, you accepted a ride request. I noticed you did not cancel the request you accepted. So, once you entered destination mode, the ride request was simulated but not real?
Hi. I did my first Uber pickup and it didn't work very well. I picked up the rider but didn't know how to confirm the pick up / confirm arrival. At around 9:45 this step seems skipped. Any help anyone could give would be a blessing.

Hey I can’t seem to find a number for Uber so this is kinda like my last resort.i downloaded the app but accidentally put in 19 with any car in the beginning how do I change that to add some info I haven’t yet completed all the documents also I got a message from Uber saying there was another account with my info using but with a different email I got that information through text also I thought the best thing would be to delete my account but I changed my mind and would like to keep it it there a way to cancel my deletion request?

Thanks for the video, I have a few questions. When you get a ride request it doesn't tell you destination until you pick the passenger up? what if they want to go on a 3 hour ride? and the other questions is you don't know how much you will earn for the trip prior to accepting it? Same for food pick up, it doesn't tell you destination prior? you may be driving 20 miles to deliver a burger., and how would you know if you get a 0 tip person before completing?
You have to become the next level up to be able to see your destination beforehand. There Uber gold, blue, etc. once you earn so many points, you get promoted to the next level up. But until then, you won’t know the destination. I know, it does suck 😡

If you get a 3 hour ride , and you ain't down for that, CANCEL AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!!

Great video well done. How come you didn't touch on payment processing at all. How much change must a driver carry for cash customers? How is debit or credit card transaction processed or charging the customer wallet.

As a complete newbie, what is the destination mode mean? Is that address your home address or preferred starting point? Does it mean you won't get a rider request unreasonably far from that location?
You enter a destination for someplace you want to end up and then Uber will only give you rides that are headed in that general direction, hopefully getting you closer and closer each time. Normally it gives you random rides that go all over the place.
Excellent video and information. I NEED HELP...I AM A NEW UBER DRIVER AND HAVE SPOKEN 7 times with "support". My iPhone UBER display is very similar to the one in this video. Most Uber videos on YT are 3-7 years old and my screen is basically a brand new app. How can I pause trip requests so I don't get a low score for accepting rides? I only want to pause the requests while I am handling a rider I have already accepted. Many thanks,

You can go into the details part of the trip and scroll down to where it says stop new requests. There is also a coffee icon in the corner and press that to pause if you need a break or in the middle of a streak

As some areas are dangerous.
Welcome and Uber just launched some new changes in 20 markets across the US so you might see it or might not but the changes are including the pickup and dropoff locations when accepting the trips. This will likely roll out to other markets over time if you aren't seeing it yet. Make sure to check that video out as we breakdown the several changes they are bringing.
Is it possible to plan a course for myself that allows me to drive from say Georgi to Texas over time? in other words, can Uber give me clients that only need to go just West or just North, with each successive one being at the previous one's destination?

Main question I have is on destination mode. U never explained what that means. Only rides being dropped off at .5 miles of the destination entered? Can adjust a radius of where you want to go ?
Destination Mode - say you want to go home, you enter your address for the Destination and you'll start heading home. you'll only receive requests that are in the same direction as your home.

I have a question about my iPhone setup as I must shut my app off everytime I take a ride if I don't an Uber sends me another ride, it automatically gets registered as a cancellation and does not giving me an option to take the next ride. Can you help? It is negatively affecting my cancellation rate if I forget to turn it off
Make sure your phone is updated to the latest version. Same with the app. Try logging out, deleting the app and redownloading it and log back in and try that. If that keeps happening, you will have to talk to Uber support and see what else they may be able to say

I stopped driving for Uber back in 2018. The reason was not knowing where the trips were going. I wanted to stay in an area but sometimes a ride would take me almost an hour away and I hated that. Is there still no option to stay in a city?
Omg I can’t stand how they do this. I accepted a ride and when I realized I was taking them from NY to NJ 50 mins away. I had to cancel because I didn’t have my ezpass with me
@@silvialablankita9085 this just happened to me, but vice versa- from nj. Kept taking signs toward NYC and I was absolutely freaking out inside!!!!!! I had no idea what I’d accepted and once she was in my car I felt compelled to go forward with it. I had to run through a toll bc I do not have ezpass nor did I have ANY money or change. I was not prepared and I’m now terrified to drive anyone again bc I don’t want that happening again! Is there a solution?!?

If I’m driving for Uber eats how can I add to drive for Uber too? Is it done through the same app?
You will need to pass a vehicle inspection to carry passengers which you don't have to do for deliveries. But once that's done then yes, it's all done through the same app. Every day you will be able to choose if you want to drive for Uber or Uber Eats or both at the same time. (you may have to call customer service to have them set you up for regular Uber in their computer system though)

On the left side of your screen you will see a block icon not the icon for emergencies its beneath.Click on it you will see driving preferences click on where it says uberx/pool.
Hello there, when you receive a request for a pick-up, how do you know where they're going before accepting their request or you're not informed until they get into your vehicle?

Lyft doesn't tell you. Uber tells you everything if you keep your acceptance rate up. Last week, I declined 5/xl rides in a row that were 20 minutes plus away. So they took away my pre ride info and had to accept (I think) 5 rides in a row to get upfront info back. I only drive lyft streaks and Have to accept everything or you won't get the bonus.
Exactly what I wanna know how do you know the person you’re picking up isn’t going 45 minutes away how come it doesn’t tell you the total time of trip to pick up and drop off or where they are going
