    I did over 900 deliveries so far, been working for about a year now. Coming from an experience, don't take $3 $4 $5 dollars deliveries. $7 and up. And has to be 1 to 5 miles away. Over 5 miles less than $8 is not worth taking. And most of all, patience is the key.. work smart.

    • @MicDropBBQ
      @MicDropBBQ 3 ปีที่แล้ว +29

      I've done around 4,000 Uber trips in the last year - and only around 125 Uber Eats trips. Pushing 4,200 trips before the new year flips, and I will tell you this: you are SO DAMN RIGHT! I used to take those little $3 trips, hoping the person would leave a tip. Nope. They're going for the LOWEST amount they can pay for the meal when they're doing small orders. And I usually do restaurant orders versus fast food orders. Leave the fast food orders for people going for Quests, so they can hit a bonus amount. I would rather bypass the Quest and stack money the smart way.

    Delivering to apartments are challenging cause of the access code sometimes they give u the wrong entry code at the gate. Another thing how big the apartment complex is easy to get loss if u don't have a good navigation

    Isn't it amazing how many houses don't have an address anywhere on the building? I had delivery yesterday, I was pretty sure it was the right house (map said I arrived) but no number on the building!! The customer was sitting on the porch kind of hidden behind a pillar, I rolled down the window and asked if it was the correct address, he affirmed that it was. While walking up with the order I said, "There's no number on the house!" his response, "I painted a month ago and haven't put it back up." C'mon man!!! Then he said, "I'm a UPS driver and know how frustrating it is." REALLY DUDE? I smiled and told him to "Have a great day." There are so many stories but this one really frosted me.

    I typically never watch how-to type TH-cam videos because I’m impatient and generally would rather just read the info- but this one captivated me within a moment or so! A loyal and REGULAR Uber and Uber Eats customer (1 or 2 x weekly) I have signed on to deliver on my bike after a neighbor told me he’d cleared more than $200 in 2 hours (we live 2 miles from downtown Houston), so here I come!! Ready to capitalize on my fellow like-minded, hearty Uber eaters out there!! Thank you for the great tips and btw - you’re practically flawless in your presentation- which is no small feat in its own right, without professional production. Mad props!! #FANGIRL

    In 2021- these restaurants are short staff so the line and wait time is long. I know what neighborhoods tip well vs. areas that don’t. i’ve been doing uber eats for 6 weeks and in the amount of time i’ve made a total of $1800 which IDK if that good or bad. I like it and learning the tricks of the trade. It funny that ppl love Taco Bell at 2am. I do appreciate these videos.

      Uber Eats pay is pitiful, and I got burned by a nightmare pickup at a holiday crowded mall. Took me off track for an hour. Restaurant cancelled the order. I called support, they said they'd pay me $5. At that moment I knew I must stop deliveries altogether, especially since I was getting tipped only about 20% of deliveries. Uber Eats does not value their drivers and most customers don't value drivers either. Losing opportunity.
