Love the blinds, Ryan. From the sounds of these, I can’t disagree on the c923. I always enjoy the sweet butterscotch, brown sugar notes. Sounds amazing!
The biggest liquor store in my area is doing their bi-annual allocated drop this Saturday. And they are dropping a pick of 10 year Elijah Craig toasted at barrel proof, something I didn’t even know existed but apparently have started to pop up pretty recently. I already really like EC toasted, which is apparently an unpopular opinion, so I’m insanely excited about getting that. I’ll be very curious to see how it compares to their normal barrel proof picks
Sounds like the River Roots would hit better for you if it had the heat and oak up front but finished with some more of those sweet double oak flavors you see in Woodford or 1910.
Could you do some reviews on high west bourbons. I honestly only like three of their bottles, bouyre, campfire, and obviously midwinters. everyone here in utah raves about all of their stuff that I just seriously don't like, and I am starting to feel a bit crazy. Like am I crazy or is their bourbons as good as everyone is saying? Also I would send some bottles but utah has wacky liquor laws and am nervous about mailing liquor

I’ll admit I was hoping the Larceny would do well so I’m glad it came in second. I’ll have to see if I can try the C923 at some point.
