glad you enjoy the trails in VT my buddy wanted me to do it last year iwth him but some of them needs work from last years flood.. we will try them this fall
@bonn1771 this is a great resource. I hope the recent bad weather hasn’t done to much damage. I feel bad for all Vermonters impacted by the recent storms.
Live in Fairfield and just a little above the LVRT. Ride the trails all the time. Those hills to Carmi are no joke. Nice ride down the next day thou. Take care, Al
Hi John. Thank you for such an enjoyable video. As always, your great narration and graphics made it even more interesting and informative. Look forward to more of your fine work!
Glad you enjoyed it Ken! I’m learning so much in DaVinci Resolve. It’s a powerful tool. Just the Quinebaug in very wet conditions and another section of the Shenipsit. I know you enjoy the blue blazes.
This was fantastic what a great trail 93 miles wow and yes the scenery was fantastic! Could only imagine the difference all the weight would make especially up hill. The Tuba on the back LOL glad you pointed that out that was funny! Great area to end up at and you guys had to be hungry the quick meals actually sounded good! This is a great trip thanks for sharing!
This one was more like an adventure due to the length of time we spent. It was my longest (number of days spent and miles ridden) trip. Having two freinds join me made it even better. In September we are planning an even longer trip from DC to Pittsburgh. It’s like RVing only it’s easier to park your bike. 😂
@ttb1513 You are correct, the video was recorded in August of 2023. When I upload, I put the recording date in the appropriate field. The upload date is the actual date it was uploaded to TH-cam.
@@OutdoorsWithJohnUSAAh. I’m viewing on an iPad. Do you know where I’d see the "recording date"? I didn’t know there was such a field available, or where to look. I have never noticed such a field in the description, for example. Thanks!
@@OutdoorsWithJohnUSA Ok. Thanks for taking a look. Thought I might learn something about TH-cam today. Nice video. The bikepacking looks fun. I just struggle a bit to get friends together and being able to handle the logistics.
@@ttb1513 My first trip was with the AMC, I have a video on it if you're interested. th-cam.com/video/MhqyETTB6MI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=bCD1NAmIr9Z4Vn3F.Start small and you get the logistics figured out.
This looks like a great bike trail. Beautiful scenery and sounds nice how you can stop in the various towns or camp at the state park.
This was a fantastic trip for my friends and I. We really enjoyed it!

@bonn1771 I’ll be back next year to do the rest. This year we are doing DC to Pittsburgh on the C&O and the GAP.
@@OutdoorsWithJohnUSA co is nice I only done part of it
@@bonn1771 I have done the first section from Georgetown to Great Falls back in 2016

Lake Carmi was a beautiful place to camp but that hill was a difficult climb at the end of each day.

That's sounds great we have friends that do Ragbri in Iowa every year.
Looks to be an awesome tour! And totally beautiful in the Fall surely!
It really was a special trip, thanks for watching!
What month of the year did you do this? (I’m sure it was not January, like the upload date of this video).

Yes it’s beautiful up there!
