I'm also a suitcase girlie, my bad back and shoulders can't deal with too much weight. 😂Agree with you - we need to know ourselves and what our needs really are. If that means denim and some more makeup,so be it! Within reason, of course... I have to admit though - the shoes in the bag without any sort of protection or putting them in a plastic bag gives me the heebie jeebies!! When you just put the pajama on top of the shoe soles I almost fell off my chair. Lol. 😅 the little slippers are great. I basically pack them for every trip.
was crying at the flip flops, touching everything, then the slippers, then the white flips flops lol then the shoes in a tote omg the hostel pillowcases didn't seem so bad after all that. i highly recommend shoe bags that come in two pieces so you can place the shoes separately around the bag, amazon has many. I know sometimes it can feel so annoying to do these little things whilst travelling, but the number of facies and bacteria that's on the bottom of shoes and now in the bag and probably make up bag and brushes makes it worth it
I will add a pillowcase. If I’m travelling to see family I use a rolling bag as I don’t need to carry it around with me but if I’m travelling to multiple countries and cities (cobblestone streets, stairs, trains) I use my backpack. At some point the backpack will probably be an issue as I am getting older (64) but for now it works. I use the 5-4-3-2-1 formula-tops-bottoms-dresses-shoes-layer and bathing suit-and that’s always been a sufficient amount of clothing (even on a recent trip which included several cities in Italy as well as a Mediterranean cruise). I swear by scarves to spice up an outfit and I do discard underwear and clothes as I go along. I also pack a pair of travel slippers.
Honestly loved this, people always give tips as you said saying "don't bring white", the denim shorts or like leaving make up behind for saving space or whatever, but honestly I think that when you're traveling like this what counts is you knowing yourself and bringing things that make you feel good! Keep up Also, where are the packing cubes from?
WTH... 12kilos in a 40L backpack would be hell for a spine! I almost fell off balance when i tried 7kg once. Trolley bags are good for older folks or with bad spine but the trade off is most empty trolley bag weight is around 2.5kg. It's manageable if the cabin limit is 10kg.
I always buy authentic LV and Gucci. After spending $300 to buy a high-quality bag at luxrul , I found that I would never spend 9K to buy a certain brand of bag...the price increase is so ridiculous

We have the same backpack! Mine's the green one. I really love Osprey 💚

Most brands have an option with wheels in this size. Cotopaxi has one and there's the Fairview wheeled too

Pretty girl
One of my rich neighbors collects luxrul bags, but because she’s so well groomed from head-to-toe, no one would ever think her bags were fake!
Just take less stuff then you can carry a back pack 😆
