Ahh genuinely so happy to find someone on youtube who makes backpacking content, actually dresses well whilst travelling and is also a fellow black girl! Also where are your parachute pants from? need to get a pair for my next trip!
Wow the number of times I've stopped this video to add an item to my Amazon cart hahah super helpful and nice to see you didn't have too many packing regrets :)
Loved this and all your other Colombia videos. I think you did so well to pack so little and look so stylish. Can I ask where you got your holey jumper from, and also what film camera you have? The photos you took have a lovely quality to them. Thanks ! Xx
I'm so glad you liked them, thanks so much! The jumper is from Racer Worldwide and the camera is a Canon Sureshot 85 Zoom and I was using Kodak Colorplus 200
This is soo helpful! I leave for a year long backpacking trip in 21 days time S.America and trying to work out what to pack. Can't imagine how I'm going to fit everything in at the moment but this gives me hope haha. Also - was the airport okay with not putting your film through the scanners? It puts me off taking a film camera!
I am so happy I got to help you out, I hope you have the most amazing trip! I had no trouble with the film, you just have to ask them not to put it though the scanner and be really stubborn about it, if you make sure you know how to say it in Spanish you'll be fine :)
Never had a problem in any of the airports I went to. If you fly with a budget airline the bag may not fit the dimensions of a cabin bag so there is usually a small fee you have to pay.
As someone who is going to Colombia for 8 weeks soon, thank you for this!!!
You are actually the first person to mention salt. That will definitely be added on to the list 😄

this genuinely makes me so happy :') the pants are both from urban outfitters!
Great video! I’m hoping to travel to Ecuador next year, so this is really useful information. Thank you! 😊
You packed really well! With actual cute clothes!
This is all the validation I need in the world hahahaha, thank you
@@oliviaoclock you deserve it! I'm glad to not see merino wool and more than 5 pairs of undies!!
I have that exact towel in the same color and also in the dark blue and they are the only towels I use in my daily life because they are so awesome!
This is so so helpful, thank you!
You're so welcome!

Did you have any troubles on the airport? Was it okay to take this bag as a carry on?
