    The Anker with stand is at Costco (2 for $39.99-price is based on a Texas location). I drove in for a cruise to the Caribbean and my sister asked me why I’m dressed for winter 😂. It’s because places can be soo cold including my car. My husband likes it really cold. I was just going to say with walking shoes, make sure they are well-broken in! You can get blisters from new walking shoes.

    I always bring three battery packs, too. I've only ever needed the same Anker one, though, as it seems to be indefatigable. I can also attest to the longevity of Anker; I've had mine nearly ten years and it refuses to die.

    I use my kislux as a work bag and have had no issues at all. It’s a comfortable bag, fits a good amount and hadn’t lost its shape. With that being said, I also take care of all my bags and don’t carry a water bottle, pens, keys or anything that can damage the interio.

    Technically, Ericka, your hardsided suitcase is considered an 8-wheeled spinner. Thumbs up on the mesh Gonex packing cubes, I've been rocking mine for 7 years. My husband and I use merino wool compression socks, all the benefits, plus no stinky feet.

    Really helpful tips! Btw: ‘luggage’ doesn’t refer to a single object such as a duffel bag or suit case- it refers to all of your baggage in the plural- which is why we don’t say ‘luggages’.

I normally wear size 8, and my legs are not fat, but not skinny either. Should I get large extra large because I’m afraid that small medium could be too tight. I appreciate your advice. Most of the things that you show are far outside most budgets for travel items.

    • @buildyourmoxie
      @buildyourmoxie  24 วันที่ผ่านมา +4

      I’ve used cheaper items that break and I have to buy them again which exceeded the cost of a lot of the items I mentioned.
      (Examples for me specifically: toiletries bottles - I’ve spent probably over $50 in my life buying just crappy bottles that leak and crack but the one I have is around $10ish now and still going really strong after a year.
      Another is compression socks. Spent probably over $100 over the years trying to nail down the right brand and fit. Then I found my awesome pairs that I’ve stuck with since 2020. Those are around $16 each and worth every penny.
      Luggage weigher around $9. Idk if it can get much cheaper 😝 especially if you want good quality.
      For the shoes, as long as it’s comfortable anything can work. But this is the first time I’ve showed my shoes since people were asking :D
      These are just a few examples of the things I’ve found and love. For the bigger ticket items like suitcase, this for sure is an investment. But I just wanted to emphasize if you are going to get a luggage make sure it has 4 wheels etc. and make sure your personal item has a trolley pull through sleeve :)
      A lot of these items are 1-6+ years old already and still working perfectly :)
      I am not a luxury traveler at all but I do believe in getting good quality items at a reasonable price :) 😍🫡
