Let's focus on helping her see that with kindness (unkind way will just be blocked and make her fight from changing more) we all make mistakes because of fear and trauma, protest with your dollar but speak with compassion. What about the vulnerable group of women and girls, who make half of society?
      This is riduculous!
Trans people can have all the freedoms they want as lknh as they will not step on or even take freedoms of women and girls away! The should be sensitive and emphatic to the needs of women and girls and not just see their own needs and feelings.
It's not ok to erase woman's existance from language or take away our safe spaces for a tiny little minority who cares only about themselves.

@@JoseGarcia-jl2zqI do wish there had been more episodes, a second season maybe, with more interviews with people like Noah and Natalie who were willing to so clearly, honestly and intelligently voice their concerns without bashing. Best of all would have been a conversation between Jo Rowling and Natalie. Or Jo Rowling and Noah. Or both. I feel certain better understanding and maybe an apology and some healing might have been the result. I hope these three were able to connect privately.
Personally I wish Jo Rowling had never tweeted. A longer form communication of her fears - it is all about fear - would have been far better.
Your comment about Jo Rowling being portrayed as a victim makes sense to me, though. I see it. You are right. And yet .. so were some of the tweet etc reactions to her two tweets. Victimhood is an easy card to play, unfortunately.
I loved this podcast because I found it to be a beautiful attempt at nuanced, thoughtful conversation. We are so in need of that now. It’s not perfect but it’s how we must begin.
