The desire to merge with God is known as spiritual suicide. It is stated in the actual story that the living entities are eternally individual. Guiding people to a concocted path of impersonalism is also expressly condemned therein.

@ New day new dose: What kind of meditation do you do? I was impressed with this video initially until I realized that Hindu Saga is presenting differing versions of the topic in question, which are contradictory.
During the war, Bhima did kill an elephant named Ashwatthama which was an elephant. But while Yudhisthira broke the news to Acharya Drona, he mentioned it as: Ashwatthama Ataha, Kunjara. Kunjara was told under the breath of Yudhishthira so the Acharya could not hear it and thus gave up on this life assuming that his son attained martyrdom.
He said it clearly it was krishna who blows his sankha at the time so he can only hear his son name .. krishna is a cunning character all this happen cuz of him n his cunning tactics he probably loved fueling the whole brother fighting brother and enjoy from sideline

Yudhishtra went to hell not because he told a white lie. But he went to hell because he did not trust the God at that moment. He DISOBEYED lord Krishna who asked him to say only "Ashwathama hatha". For this disobedience & loss of faith in the actions of Krishna, he went to hell.
What about Yudhishtira's gambling problem? It seems to me that he was as much a sinner as the other Pandavas and Draupadi and in no position to talk about why the others had to die. Maybe if he knew when to stop gambling, the Kauravas wouldn't have had the chance to try disrobing Draupadi and the war might not have been necessary? But he just could not stop.
He was goaded and compelled to gamble by the crafty Shakuni the uncle as it was clearly a setup from the word go. The game is called cowries and it was rigged by Shakuni so that the Kauravas could outrage the modesty of Draupadi. Yudhishthir was often referred as "Dharamraj" meaning a man of great honor. The idea was that since he was Dharamraj, he would have to honor the wager and fulfill the condition of disrobing Draupadi which was to be "won" by cheating. Otherwise Yudhishthir was never a gambler being Dharamraj.

We all must have heard these stories as youngsters, it is nice to revisit them. You are doing a very good job, please continue and best wishes. As I am in mid 50s, with age and experience I feel the concept of heaven and hell was created to make us human beings behave in an ethical, moral, scrupulous and honest manner. I don’t know if heaven and hell exists after our death, but with good behavior we can experience heaven on earth and with bad behavior we can experience hell on earth. I have no idea if the concept of rebirth is true, but being a Hindu I believe in it. If we do good deeds, we always experience the effect of it in our lives. We should learn from mythology and history that certain attributes and characteristics ( like honesty, charity, justice, etc) never go out of ‘fashion’ as these have stood the test of time. Just today I came across your channel and subscribed to it. Thank you and God bless you
A partial truth(or a lie) to weaken the heart of a warrior was considered as a Sin. The sins committed to weaken people's moral are the biggest sins. Also, the way Arjun killed Karna was against all ethics. Real Mahabharatha starts after the Kurukshethra war, where the philosophy of right and wrong were analyzed in deep.
Bro but who was following ethics? The whole Mahabharata happened bcs nobody followed ethics since beginning. Not following ethics or dharma is the reason why Lord Vishnu had to incarnate as Sri Krishna in order to establish dharma. Isn't that the whole point of Mahabharata?
To all judging Yudhishter ... sad to see you focusing on the one time he went wrong in his whole life because of Shakuni. It would be hard for today's generation to be in Yudhistra's shoes. That was the time when people were known for their words. The identity of a virtuous man was judged on how much can he stand by his words. Shakuni knew how to use this in a negative way. You have to see the whole sequence of events that led him to bet draupadi. A perfect plot was master minded by Shakuni that even the most virtuous people like Bheeshma and Drona couldn't do anything. Again the point is that was a different time. People simply can't go back on their words. Mahabharata is not about showing Pandavas in a positive sense... but it's about how one got to react in different situations ... Sometimes one has to be wrong to deal with wrong ... So let's stick with the learning we can get of human experience rather than judging them from today's bigoted lenses
I believe everyone is responsible for his/her Karma. Shakuni was able to weave an elaborate plan against the Pandavas due to Yudhishthir's weakness. Gambling addiction was his vice but betting the lives of his brothers and wife was sinful. He did not stand by his words. He did not protect his brothers. He forgot his vows to Draupadi. Shakuni was not doubt worse but the decision to bet his family was Yudhishthir's very own. And not only Yudhishthir but all the people present in the court were the silent/active part-takers in the sin. Also, it is not necessary to be wrong to deal with the wrong. What had Lord Ram done wrong that he had to deal with the wrong? All in all, Mahabharat does depict many virtues, vices, decisions and their effects. But no version elaborates this sin as Yudhishthir's worst sin. Instead the white lie of Ashwatthama's death is always recalled as Yudhishthir's greatest sin.
@@manasishah3577 Lord Rama killed Bali behind his back ... which is wrong specially for someone of the stature of Lord Ram ... I didn't say Yudhister was right. Every human being is born with some weaknesses. Shakuni played a good plot. About gambling his brothers and his wife and even himself ... That was the era when people were owned by the king. Even woman were owned by their husband ... there is a reason why woman back then referred to their husband as swami. Even Bhishma confirmed that even though It was Yudhisters fault to keep playing but he had the right to gamble his wife . Again as I said that was a different time. He made a mistake and made sure that he redemp himself of it on earth itself. This blot shouldn't take away the fact that he is the most virtuous, kind hearted and just ruler the world has ever seen.
The only reason why I cannot consider Yudhishthir as a kind, virtuous and just person is his gambling addiction. He lost in the first round of Go as well but was then let go. He repeated the mistake again even after the advice from his family. Not only that but he also bet his brothers and wife. That alone makes me think that even if he bacame the King after the war, there always remains a possibility of him repeating the same thing had there been a Shakuni v2. If he was such a just person he could even have voiced out his disagreement when Eklavy and Karan were not given the chance to learn from Dronacharya. I might be baised and I know it was supposed to role out in this manner only but I still can't agree that he was Dharmaraj. Btw, you reasoned it very well. The society that time had this perception of the King or the head of the family being the decision maker. Though our other puranas also say that a women is not an object and should be respected, the whole of Kuruvansh forgot that. Mahabharata taught us that even learning from the best does not make a difference of you don't apply it in real life and our ignorance, greed and ego can lead to the downfall of the whole nation.
@@manasishah3577 Typical misconceptions. It is all Lord Krishna's leela being enacted with much deeper meanings underlying it all. @@manasishah3577 Using addiction word is too harsh as there is no were written of him being addicted to gambling. After losing everything in gambling and gaining them back through blessings by Dritarashtra to draupadi ... They were called again for one final game ... Even after knowing that he cannot win against Shakuni ... He still agreed because he could not say no to his father like king dirthrashtra ... It wasn't easy back then when it came to choices... people were bound to promises ... even words made in their previous life ... why do you think no one holds bhesshma and Drona being equally responsible for letting everything happening in front of them ... Because they were bound by their promise of allegiance to kauravs ... This whole betting scene was bound to happen... lord rama going after a golden deer knowing it's impossible for a golden deer to exist was bound to happen .
The second version is the real interpretation of principles of Karma. Everyone who comes to this world has to endure both the effects - I.e the effects of good deeds and the bad ones separately. It means that the good deeds you do will not cancel or compensate for your bad deeds. One will pay for their bad deeds and will get paid for their good deeds. This is essential too, because otherwise people would start doing bad deeds followed by good ones so that the good ones will compensate for their bad ones. So, to conclude- You are rewarded separately for all your good deeds and you are penalised for your bad deeds and both the accounts(good deeds and bad deeds) are maintained separately.
The sins of the pandavas do not count up to 1 / 1000th part of only shakunis sins, what to speak of the rest. But as Keshava said, a good person is judged harsher than a demon.. He himself talked to kauravas despite knowing that they are blocks of stone and wood. Balarama nearly destroyed hastinapura for this. But it was krishna who destroyed them when all goodwill had failed.
This only shows injustice and manipulation at every stage, even in the court of Yamaraj. So many virtues of the Pandavas were minimised against a few sins. And on the other hand one or two good deeds of Kauravas fell heavily on all the sins that they committed. Ridiculous!!!!! No doubt why mortals are not afraid of committing sins in the present time.
These are different versions of a story by different people. The first version probably written/said by someone with Karma Path of religion. He tried to give emphasis and more importance to Duty rather than other good things. What version you choose is upto you. For me it's second version of story. It was just a Test (like many he faced in his whole life) of Yudhishthira - the righteous one.
@@padisalashanthan98 But Mahabharata history wasn't written by any winner, it was written by Vedvyasa who was a partial incarnation of the God himself. So you cannot doubt on his writing regarding Pandavas and Kauravas.
Lord Vishnu was impressed with the acts of King Kuru and blessed him with two boons-first, that this land forever will be known as a Holy Land after his name as Kurukshetra (the land of Kuru); second that anyone dying on this land will go to heaven.
In the Bengali version of Mahabharata, I've read that Yudishthira said, "Ashwathama iti (and) gojo (under his breath)", which means Ashwathama is no more (iti) gojo (elephant).
even righteous and dharma king like Yudhistira had to go through a glimpse of hell then do we even have a chance to have a salvation? We need to rewire our path if we don't want to go through hell. We need to find out the one who can give a salvation.
Actually there is more to the story Krishna also says that while climbing the mountain yudhishtar gave up on his brothers and wife, as it was all worldly things, and didn't even cry for their death So if he had attached himself from his loved ones why did he ask to stay in hell
actually when yudhisthir concurred on Ashwathama's demise he continued to say what really happened, but Krishn blew a Conch to cover what he had to say, anyway Drona was already in shock hearing what has been done, dropped his weapon and sat on the ground. Taking the advantage of the moment Dhristaduymn beheaded dron for he killed drupad (drhistaduymn's father)
first of all. why he need to inform Acharya Drona about some elephant which is named same as his son is dead. he knew it is a planned lie story to kill Acharya Drona. simple. nothing to explain about this lie anymore. he knew it's a lie and said it. if I post in twiiter like lord krisna is raped next door girl name called rani and in next twitter. oh by the lord krisna is our dog name and rani is next door female dog name. people will claim about this?

There is no question of heaven or hell for Him because his soul was surrender to Shree Krishna.
I am confused about one thing though: after people's death, they are supposed to leave their mortal bodies and then enter hell or heaven. Then how is it that the unbearable torture of hell includes physical torture? Without a body how is it possible to inflict physical pain upon someone?
Nobody have seen the scene of hell. The literature is just trying the easiest way to make people understand pain. Do not take it in the literal meaning.
@@moonpearl4711 When the body stays a unit, wherever an injury occurs, the whole body is anxious about the pain. When they were climbing the mountain in the previous video, Yudhishthir did not mourn when his brothers or Draupadi fell. He continued walking because he was detached from them. After seeing them in hell suffering, he became attached to them and couldn't bear to see their suffering.
You have not addressed the question at all. Firstly in the Bhagavad Gita. First chapter. Eshwara says to Parvati. One who listens to Bhagavad Gita will not die. Shukdev heard Eshwara's narration of Bhagavad Gita. Shukdev's father re affirms Eshwara's statement that if Shukdev has listened to Bhagavad Gita how can he die? Secondly Arjunaa listened to Bhagavad Gita from krishna 2 times. 1st is during the war. 2nd is 3 months after the war as vyasa expresses humans forgetfulness. So the revic question is How did Arjunaa die inspite of listening to Bhagavad Gita? and Secondly Arjunaa surrendered to krishna completely. Why did he go to hell inspite of surrenderring to krishna?
Pandav didn't die accidentally death or got killed in battlefield as what normal people die, thy have to return this material body to nature back before entering into heaven, Arjun listened bagvad Gita from lord thts why he attained moksha and merged into god but whoever born in this world he have to die ,even lord Krishna have to give up this body to nature back, even lord ram , why Arjun went to hell it's coz we have to pay our sins ,when lord ram hidely shoot arrow to Bali and he got killed ,same in Krishna avatar jara shoot an arrow to lord Krishna means even lord have to pay their karma ,Arjun was human so he have to pay his sins ,once their karma get empty thy can attain moksha, our good karma and bad karma are like chains which hold us not to attain moksha coz once we do good karma we have to enjoy the fruitful of good deeds and for bad karma we have to face sins ,so these r two obstacles , once a person get empty from their karmas by God grace and blessings he attain moksha, thank you
@@anoopkumar47 then why did Bhagavad Puran chapter 1 stated they don't? Yes I am aware that Arjunaa comunioned with divine energy. But it's clearly stated Arjun went to hell.
Aron Williams, you are asking logical questions. Krishna gave the verbal discourse to Arjun at the Mahabharatha war. Both Arjun and Krishna died without leaving any manuscript. After many centuries Bhagwat Geeta was first printed in the 15th century claiming to contain Krishna's word without any manuscript. LOL. Sri Ganesh was created by Shiva, who transplanted the head of a baby elephant over the beheaded body of his son is worshiped to remove life obstacles. @@prosantomukerji3931Firstly Thankyou. Let me correct a small line. The one preserved in Indian Gurukul is mostly, Ugracheva's Mahabharata. Who was present in Janemejaya's snake sacrifice. Which was translated as it is by KM Ganguli in 1800's when Gurukul was about to be vanished from India. Thirdly, the head transplant. He is reffered as Gana not Kunjara or Gaja. Gana is a head that looks similar to an elephant but not the actual elephant. Each Gana has a different form. Elephant resemblance is also a form. You can see the carving of Gana in western Indian temples, the gana that resembles elephant. In hampi, hoishala, elephanta caves. After the modern period ie., 14th century, people had no idea about gana, because that creature is not of earth. they looked at the carving and called it elephant face.
Yudhisthira never had a 'gambling problem' as people in the comments are calling it. If one of the reasons Kauravas were in heaven was that they fulfilled their duty, the same should be applied to Yudhisthira. Dhritarashtra had asked Yudhisthira to participate in the game of dice after Kauravas had challenged him. In those days, a warrior should accept any challenge given to him, it was his duty. Not only that, but it was also Yudhisthira's duty as a nephew to obey the orders of his uncle, Dhritarashtra. Shakuni, aka one of the masterminds of Mahabharata, forced Yudhisthira to stake himself, his brothers, and his wife. Yudhisthira was helpless in front of Shakuni. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT judge anyone from the epics if you've only watched those dramatic serials and have not taken a single effort to read the actual thing. The serials change the plot to gain viewers. Oh, and one more thing; the epics were written down for the people of Kaliyuga (us) to learn from them, and not question them. Yudhisthira was called 'Dharmaraj' for a reason. Instead of searching for his mistakes, try to learn from him. Do not comment on anything as if you're the most sin-less person on Earth.
I could be wrong but Yudhishthira not being a sinner could be right. He followed his dharma as a King and when a King loses, he has to give up his everything. Now his dharma as a King collides with his dharma as a husband (since as a husband he should defend his wife). But, in his thoughts, the dharma that would effect most number of people was more important than losing one person in his life. Yes he was wrong, but it's all about Dharma or Duty. One of the first instances of collision of duties is this part.
To all judging yudhishthir, I want to say that- 1. Duryodhan gave him a order to put his wife for gamble and when he opposed he said he is dharmbadh to chakravati samrat and everything. 2. So yudhishthir came up with an idea and he said sakuni to change the dice because he felt soemthing wring with the dice 3. When sakuni and duryodhan refused, even though he was a slave he crushed the dices in front of the sabha of hastinapura. And said them to bring new dice or stop the game. 4. But the cunning sakuni somehow joined the dice back again and told yudhishthir that it was new dices and not the ones made out of his father's ashes. 5. Therefore yudhishthir had no option except playing with them. 6. They could not have broken the dharma when draupadi was brought to the court by opposing the kauravas. But it doesn't mean he was not sad as well. He felt terrible too, because he loved draupadi as much. 7. He was wrong when he tried to prevent war but again it was dwarparyug and he was dharmaraj, he didn't want to tear down his own family. He knew not only kauravas will die but people of the country would be at loss. He thought of the welfare of Bharat. So therefore he swallowed his ego and was sacrifing his inner feeling of revenge for the well being of his family and the citizens of bharat at the time of dwaparyuga.
When Draupadi asked him the question when he had lost himself and had no right over anybody how could he bet on her? He couldnt answer. That question still remains.
@@deeksharajpoot0104 the basic rule of Chauser is simple if you have anything an object/property/asset you are eligible to play. You cannot left the game after losing Hastinapur he lost his all brothers only Draupadi was left , be played in the hope that what if he wins by winning Draupadi he could get everything back what he has lost. @@deeksharajpoot0104 Hello Deeksha. Dharmaraja lost himself to kauravas. Now Duryodhana and Shakuni are his masters. Then realizing that only draupadi is left to bet, shakuni/duryodhana asks dharmaraja to bet his wife. As he has to obey the orders of his master, dharmaraja bets his wife. What kauravas did was totally wrong. A master cant force his servant (female) to give up her chastity. He don't have any right over her except to command her to serve them with materialistic things as other servants do. Even draupadi asks everyone in Sabha that "Whether his her husband lost himself and kept her as bet OR Whether he kept her first as bet , lost her and lost himself?"
You could say went to hell, but in actuality, their genes were left on earth to help create the future generations. For celestials, earth is the underworld/hell.
Yudhistira's sin was that he lacked discrimination and gambled his wife away. Duryodhana had discrimination and knew he was not a professional gambler, so he employed his uncle Shakuni and also gave Yudhistira the same alternative of choosing a champion. He could have chose Krishna to represent him, but he mistakenly believed it was his duty to play the match himself despite not being that skilled. He even prayed Krishna would not find out, essentially binding him to not interfere in the match. What would have happened if Shakuni tried to cheat Krishna? Which way would the dice have rolled? Instead he relied on his own prowess and the lesson is reinstated when Draupadi is disrobed. First she thinks one of her other husbands will save her, then she relies on her own prowess, then when all other options fail she finally surrenders to Krishna and calls out for him where he stops her from being disrobed by creating an endless cloth. You can't gamble your wife away.
Here I would like to clarify certain aspects of Duryodhana. In the video it is said Duryodhana gave cows and other sorts of wealth in charity. But please try to understand, whatever he did was never in good intentions. He never gave anything without expecting something in return from them which he could use for his sinister plans against Pandavas. The Durvasa muni incident is enough to prove this. He always thought that sadhus and santhas were weak people and good for nothing and that they could be manipulated. Please understand one thing which is clearly mentioned in Mahabharatha. All the 100 Kauravas were evil and burden on Earth. These Kauravas are not even in Hell. A Jiva can return to this world from hell or heaven. But these Kauravas are damned to a place called Andha Tamas - A very dark place of no return. They are still suffering there and are going to remain there till the end (Maha Pralaya) of this Kalpa(or creation). Now please re-think who went where.

This is most probably a literal intepretation of Mahabharata. I dont think in reality any heaven(if at all there is something like that) would be comprised of worldly luxuries. THe idea that someone dying in in a battlefield automatically makes them qualify for a place in heave - or it pays of all their sinful debts is simply ridiculous.
I have been discussing these things with my family members from my childhood. But they always treated me as an orthodox Kshatriya boy and obsessed with taking sides of those who were spirited. But till date my family members have absolutely no idea about it. I always felt lonely with them. We also had a similar discussion on the actual Varna system which was introduced as an open model for new religions (Sanatan era, both Hinduism and Buddhism adopted it). The voluptuous Brahmins edited it, altered the Raajanya position from top to second and put themselves on the top with a new propaganda name - Brahmin (personification of Lord Brahma) as the poor Purohita who were great people were not getting the due attention of the royal consortium (Raajanya). Till date India is suffering due to that. However, in Buddhism the great Buddhist Lamas never altered anything. The actual sect system or the Varna vyavastha is still the same in it. Though there are many streams of Buddhism as well like we have Vaishnavism and Shaivism.
Hmm your idea of the varna system is very much that of the British caste system and not varna at all. Varna has no hierarchy. There were 4 broad professions that society collectively agreed that people needed to fill per their merit and interests in order for society to function. The Bhagvat Gita comments on this wherein Krishna states that he made everyone born with interests and skill that they should use to contribute to society and it is not one fold. Ie. As a kid you are a student as an adult you may pursue being a warrior then latter in life settle as a farmer. Up to your passion and skills. Not based on family background or what household you are born into. Krishna repeated this because he saw how society treated Karna for being born into a fisherman's family but having the passions apt for a Kshatriya yet society didn't want to give him a chance. So Krishna was reiterating that family had nothing to do with your individual gifts he has given each of us. Now the Caste system posits that Priests are on top then warriors then etc etc. However, you won't find one smriti (cultural text) where a Brahmin says I'm on top. In fact, kings were almost always Kshatriya. Brahmins historically were poor people who pursued spiritual knowledge, lived away from people and survived off the dhaan (charity) of others. However, over time you find that select Brahmins became appointed to lead king, again Kshatriya. Even then I can't think of one that said they were better. In fact even Chanakya could have been king as he was the brains behind chandragupta maurya but be didn't and chose to be the adviser. This idea that Brahmins are the top comes from the colonialist Christian view of the disdain for Catholics and their priests. Every colonial country has this idea engraved by colonialists that priests are bad, they try to be superior to you, etc when in fact that's a view exclusive to Christians and their dynamic with Catholicism. Brahmin is not a new name. The Vedas (our only scripture. Ie. Shruti text) states that Brahman (the entity who created everything) is the ultimate truth. The one who created devi devta, us, etc. His first creation was Brahma and one who devotes their life to seeking it is given the title Brahmana. Unfortunately humans do not practice as they are told. People do let positions of power and titles get to their head. How many people do we have in India that become doctors not because they're interested but because of public respect of that profession and the financial gain? In history, Brahmins are the one (regardless of how many good vs bad ones there are. There are many good and bad Kshatriya I can list out as well) who safeguarded The Vedas and multiple smriti's of cultural importance, like the Gita and Ramayana and Mahabharata, from being destroyed, lost and most importantly altered. You have Puranas and Upanishads that are smritis (cultural texts and opinion pieces) of various Brahmins over the century that was their commentary of our scripture and which is why our ancestors made sure to keep shruti and smriti texts separate to not adulterate the original texts with someone else's opinions. Buddhism may have borrowed a lot but by and large if you ask Buddhists if they follow varna they will say no and if you ask if they follow caste they will say no. Hindus knew that varna was a natural phenomenon, the whole world does it, unfortunately the caste system has been put upon us as an explanation for varna when it is an entirely different thing and unfortunately Hindus have been carrying it on. Lastly, Hinduism IS Sanatana Dharma. It is not separate from it. Sanatana Dharna is the indigenous name for our faith and Hinduism is the foreign name given by Persians (Sindhu (the river they first encountered our people becomes Hindu in Persian. Saraswati becomes Haraxvati in Persian, etc). I'm glad you're interested in these topics and we need to have discussions on them but I'd urge you to read The Vedas to learn about what we believe in and don't. If you haven't read the Gita, albeit a smriti text, that's a good one too albeit again based on its classification it's a cultural text not religious one. A lot of your views seem informed by colonial viewpoints and not indigenous true Hindu view points. It can be hard to navigate considering how much the colonialists did to alter our history as they did every nation they destroyed, but we still have our scriptures and that would be a good place for you to start.
@@panjabipandit I am also Punjabi devteyon. Varna system was like a blue print for the new societies. Both Hinduism and Buddhism adopted it (Hinduism is way older than Buddhism). The Hindu Purohitas altered the Varna system and changed both the hierarchy and names. I have done decades long study on it. The Purohitas renamed themselves as the Brahmins/Brahmanas (the fake gyan of worship a Brahmin of you want to worship Lord Brahma is also made by the same council of struggling Purohitas). Now the question emerges is why did they do that. There were no Kshatriyas but RAAJANYAS. It was a consortium of the royalty, landlords and rich farmers but no Purohitas as Purohitas were CLASSICAL EDUCATION TEACHERS plus RELIGIOUS PREACHERS. There were councils of intellectuals to write and rewrite the classical texts before the Varna Vyavastha (Sect system) was created. The RAAJANYAS were on top, the PUROHITAS were second. In Buddhism, it's still the same. I can prove it to you pictorially citing a Buddhist society example. The way you are confusing it with the British lies based Caste system shows the level of your brain BTW.
@@panjabipandit If Hinduism is Sanatan Dharma devteyon then why the two have different ideologies or worship practices. Let me enlighten you on this as well. Hinduism is the ARYAN DERIVATIVE of Sanatan Dharma plus how the Devdoots (heaven's angels) like Maruta and Saruta were a part of the creation of holy Hinduism. Best example would be Aryasamaj temples. Ever been to one ? They are older than Hinduism. Right ? There won't be modern system of holy idols there. The early era holy idols were also made of only precious metals and alloys as ashtadhatu (an alloy made of eight metals and more substances for longer life and no corrosion). Sanatan Dharma was the main religion of India. Just like that, as we say Roman Catholic (which is a tributary term as there are no more Romans post Christianity). Similarly, we say Sanatan Dharma Temple as the temple system has evolved but the civilization is on same ideologies and civic which is known as Hindu civilization. Technically speaking, it's more Sanatan and less Hindu civilization as most of the systems were already in place. Hinduism is more into Aryanism or following the noble spirit. The idol worship was already being practiced by old Aryans in India but it had no proper system. It was more like how a follower practices devotional and motivational way of life based on worshipping his nobles, gurus, saints, ancestors etc. You will still see this in many villages of India esp. North India. You know nothing about Buddhism. It's Punjabi Pundit BTW. Coming from an Aryasamaji Khatree of Punjab.
@@panjabipandit Hinduism is not the foreign name, there is only one letter 'Sa' which was changed to 'Ha'. Persians were pure Aryans then. The country's name was Aryanam. India's other name was Aryavrat. So there were two brotherly Aryan states or closely connected countries. Sindhu became Hindu. It's the same. It means Hindu. Like we say Baaman in Punjabi, Brahman in Sanskrit and Brahmin in English but all three are VOLUPTUOUS or bhogi (in the light of your self agenda talk). Shame on your teachers and family members who could not CIVILIZE you. Go back to some pathshala or find a Buddhist Lama. They are way better than you Brahmins. I have been to Haridwar in Oct' 2020. The way you keep fancy hairstyles is amazing. Shame on the voluptuous Brahmins. Have some shame in the name of God.

The pandavas are Devotees of Krishna. Their purpose is to assist Krishna in his mission to relieve the burden of the earthly planet. Men and women of the heavenly planets also assist in his mission. Assisting Krishna in his earthly mission also prepares them to go back to His eternal abode .. When the Condition soul does not become completely free of material entanglement, he gets to take birth in a devotee home or go to the heavenly planet and wait there to assist Krishna in any of his missios in the material world until they are qualified to enter His eternal abode, full of bliss and happiness forever.
Yudhistra’s biggest sin was his attraction for Draupadi. He committed the sin of showing interest in another person’s spouse, that too his own brother’s girl. That is much bigger than all the good deeds he’s done
There are a lot of comments that can be summarised as "what if this happened" "what if that happened" "could have, should have". Think about it: its a game! Without understanding consciousness you are merely living with whatever a logical faculty you possess. The material world is more powerful and addictive. The small glimpses of following the scriptures and truly understanding what Krishna is saying is but fleeting - once more you will carry on with your own drama because it is the only one known to you; hard to resist; easy to fall back on; very easy to live in. But you are merely a spec in a vast ocean, a passing object that will soon evaporate into insignificance... "Could have, Should have... it didn't happen; it was all in my my mind"
In 'Kauravas reason to enter heaven', the reason of why they are in heaven is kind of a similar thought which is used to brainwash people before they became a terrorist. As they've been said that be brave as a warrior and asked to do so called God's work. (Just a thought 😁). Bty love your videos and the way of Narrating the story. ❤🔥
I didn't understand this logic just bcoz one died in battle field how his all sins were forgived they had done such a big sins like Draupadi cheerharan always used wrong way and used people betrayed their own brothers and relatives how dies all the sins were forgived??

While we always strive to do our best, we're sorry this was not good enough for you. Hopefully someday we will be able to deliver content that impresses your standards.
Thanks for prompt reply... I really like the way u expressed...what I felt is 1) Please go slow while narrating .. It felt is was fast like any other story. 2) Include pauses in between so that people can soak in emotions and perspective Spoken by the narrator
Every person after death will have to go both Heaven and Hell. How much time you have have to spent in Hell and Heaven depends on how much karma(good & bad) you have left. If you are doing good things and are also enjoying corresponding results then the time you have to spend in heaven will decrease, and when you do bad things and avoid getting punished by law, you have to spend more time in hell. So, try to get results of actions just here on earth. And also try to not break any promises, as they will carry to next life.
Reading the comments, I just realised how most people don't realise how Mahabharat in a reality was an elaborate play by the Supreme where not only Gods but Rakshashas, Asuras, Yakshas and many other creatures did participate. While for the Gods, this participation was their duty, their Dharma to uphold the virtue of the Earth, for most other creatures this participation implied the antonment for their past sins. Hence, when the Kauravas and the kings fighting for Dhritarashtra's sons die in the battle of Kurukshetra, their deaths cleans them of their sins. Dharma isn't mere right or wrong, Dharma is the law that holds the entire creation and thus, everyone has a Dharma which when followed acts as their bearer. However,Dharma is extremely subtle, and one is required to identify it's subtleties. Many of the commenters, are not fond of Yudisthira's gambling but nowhere in the epic did anyone glorify it, even Yudhisthira himself blamed the gambling for their misery. However, one needs to realise, we as third persons knew what was going on beforehand, even the depths of the malign hearts ot Kauravas and Dhritarashtra. The Pandavas had no idea of knowing what was wrong. For them it was a mere game at the earnest of their uncle and cousins, and anyways, "Dyuta" wasn't an uncommon game during that era and for the Pandavas to reject the proposal they needed a strong ground, else, the Kshatriya clan would hold themselves in a mere position of laughables. And when the game reached to its climax Yudisthira had already lost almost everything, to the extent he was trying to hold on to anything that would give him back everything. Just one dice and everything is yours, is an extremely titillating concept. And thus the game turns into addiction and thus the inevitable arises. Its not out of the blue but a properly paved way to self destruction.
I always saw The Mahabharat as a story of a dynasty, of it's people and their failings and how they either overcome their failings or succumb to it. And unlike our modern stories, each person's actions has consequences on the greater universe while the person themself is ultimately very small and insignificant to the greater universe. This is a story where actions have more significance than your name or material wealth.
@@MahiMahi-yu5jo it is the story of a dynasty if you look at it from a superficial level, but it's mostly because it's the story of two ages colliding told from the viewpoint of a royal house that has been on earth in centuries. The Pandavas and Kavravas both deserve Heaven because they only played out the drama directed by Krishna, as we all here are to play out our roles on earth🙏by divine logical
*@Nissim Patki* No, not at all. Kauravas never deserved heaven after what they have done. Only the Pandavas deserve Heaven because they only played out the DHARMA directed by Krishna, and Pandavas did not forcefully bet Draupadi in the game, it was an overconfidencial accident, and that's why Pandavas later apologized to Draupadi and lord Krishna. They asked for the forgiveness from lord Krishna unlike Karna and Kauravas who never said sorry to Draupadi for their wrong doings for at even once.
nah kauravas are like islam... anti dharma. they shouldnt be allowed nirvana or moksha or any of that!! also odd arjuna suffered in hell cuz lord krishna promised him to free of sin if he obeyed him and became his devotee? so i guess arjuna wasn't truly committed to lord krishna. how sad.
Why is the narrator making the big "AA" sound at the end of many of the sanskrit words like "Yudhishtira", "Swargaloka", "Yama", etc.? It should be the smaller "A" sound. That just sounds wrong to me.
i have several doubts, isn't the journey itelf a desire, like if they are on that path because they want to atain moksha/swarklok, which should be classified as a desire, moreover again when he saw Kauravas in sawaklok he felt jealousy and sence of disgust Ness, aint this feeling from materialist world? then again the desire to live with his trustees also an desire? i mean all desires should be eliminated good or bad, also when everything clears up, yam told a lie by bluffing Yudhistara, since youdhistara was punished for a similar lie, he was punished, so will yam be punished or not, if yes who will punish him. and what to do when the cycles continues in a feedback loop?

Krishna and his personal associates may sometimes act like they are just normal human beings and in the process, offend or commit some sinful activities, but these activities or past times are done the teach us a lesson. that is why it is necessary for the conditional soul to approach to approach a bona fide teacher for guidance.
Out of curiosity, what were the sins of the kauravas? Was it their enmity with pandavas & Their devious plots to dispose pandavas? Would like to add to the earlier comment that yudhistra had no right to pawn his wife, but is gambling not a vice in itself? Being a warrior of justice, he should have allowed the showdown between karna & arjuna, as the turn of events might be different
Yudhistra had commited one even greater sin, which actually started the ball rolling. It is surprising no one considers it such. Dear all, he had not only gambled which is by itself a vice but had also pawned everyone else. Along the same lines, what was duryodhana's sins? That he coveted the mass land? Draupadi, were you created solely to be manipulated by everyone, from the father who had just wanted a reason for revenge til even your death, had to die first just because you loved arjuna the most? Is not the main villain supposed to be the one who induced the feeling in you for arjun. First love dies the hardest they say. This is Kali Yug without doubt, where a Master Manipulator is worshipped as God.
Gambling is not a sin in and of itself. He was a chakravarti samrat, and when challenged, he could not refuse, otherwise all his work till then would be in vain. Any form of challenge had to be accepted, even a gambling game. Because if he refuses the challenge then also he would lose everything including his life. But by accepting the challenge, he would still have a chance for victory and survival. Sorry to say but you are completely wrong on this.
@@AnimeCritical dear raj, thank you for highlighting my errors. But I do agree with you, gambling in itself is no sin, that is why I termed it as a vice. The sin was in the pawning. Pandavas did not go to hell. It was just Yudhishthira who saw it, just because he doubted the words of Krishna while saying "Ashwaththamo Hataha".And Yudhishthira is Avatar of Dharma, how can he become a sinner. Kunjara was told under the breath of Yudhishthira so the Acharya could not hear it and thus gave up on this life assuming that his son attained martyrdom.

Isn't that the whole point of Mahabharata?
this is the whole point of Mahabharata.
Crazy that the whole earth currently viralling misrepresented truth left and right. Truly a kaliyug

So, to conclude-
You are rewarded separately for all your good deeds and you are penalised for your bad deeds and both the accounts(good deeds and bad deeds) are maintained separately.
Very true
These are different versions of a story by different people.
The first version probably written/said by someone with Karma Path of religion.
He tried to give emphasis and more importance to Duty rather than other good things.
What version you choose is upto you.
For me it's second version of story.
It was just a Test (like many he faced in his whole life) of Yudhishthira - the righteous one.
History is always written by the winner's perspective. No matter what the real events were!
they said its a 500 years of creative creation by various writers. modern philosophers believe it was a collective sue-side
@@padisalashanthan98 But Mahabharata history wasn't written by any winner, it was written by Vedvyasa who was a partial incarnation of the God himself. So you cannot doubt on his writing regarding Pandavas and Kauravas.

In the Bengali version of Mahabharata, I've read that Yudishthira said, "Ashwathama iti (and) gojo (under his breath)", which means Ashwathama is no more (iti) gojo (elephant).
Only version we all should read and follow is Valmiki for Ramayan and Ved Vyas for Mahabharata
WOW!! This was a seriously beautiful video!! Jai Shree Krishna 🕉🙏🕉🕉🙏🕉
even righteous and dharma king like Yudhistira had to go through a glimpse of hell then do we even have a chance to have a salvation? We need to rewire our path if we don't want to go through hell. We need to find out the one who can give a salvation.
Hell is inevitable, as mentioned in the video, all humans have sins.
Actually there is more to the story
Krishna also says that while climbing the mountain yudhishtar gave up on his brothers and wife, as it was all worldly things, and didn't even cry for their death
So if he had attached himself from his loved ones why did he ask to stay in hell
actually when yudhisthir concurred on Ashwathama's demise he continued to say what really happened, but Krishn blew a Conch to cover what he had to say,
anyway Drona was already in shock hearing what has been done, dropped his weapon and sat on the ground.

As per Shrimad Bhagvad gita , Arjun was performing Karm yoga and Shree Krishna told him that by doing this his all sins will be diminished and he will attain the ultimate liberation which is Krishna himself.
@@sanathoi_irom6250 But is there any deeper explanation of pain without the mortal body? It kinda intrigues me
I gotta admit that's a very good question
@@moonpearl4711 When the body stays a unit, wherever an injury occurs, the whole body is anxious about the pain. Lets assume a finger is detached and when the detached finger is burnt, the rest of the body wouldn't feel the pain of the detached finger. Pain is not suffered separately. Pain is sufferred together. We are a part that feels detached like the finger. One day, your pain and suffering will become my pain and suffering just like we both are a part of one body. We are all connected mate
@@sanathoi_irom6250 I get your point but what you are saying is more about losing the sense of me rather than individual pain in hell. Before repaying the debts of mortal life the souls don't get connected together right? Then before that how does pain without a physical body feel like?

I feel like I am in deep meditation while listening you.
When they were climbing the mountain in the previous video, Yudhishthir did not mourn when his brothers or Draupadi fell. He continued walking because he was detached from them.
After seeing them in hell suffering, he became attached to them and couldn't bear to see their suffering.
but he failed in that he could not love his enemies
So the revic question is
How did Arjunaa die inspite of listening to Bhagavad Gita?
and
Secondly Arjunaa surrendered to krishna completely. Why did he go to hell inspite of surrenderring to krishna?
Perhaps another video to address the missing parts. Thank you for watching :)

Aron Williams, you are asking logical questions. Krishna gave the verbal discourse to Arjun at the Mahabharatha war. Both Arjun and Krishna died without leaving any manuscript. After many centuries Bhagwat Geeta was first printed in the 15th century claiming to contain Krishna's word without any manuscript. LOL.
Do not comment on anything as if you're the most sin-less person on Earth.
we should questions. if we don't question, how will we learn from them
Great Video
Thank you for watching :)
To all judging yudhishthir, I want to say that-
1. Duryodhan gave him a order to put his wife for gamble and when he opposed he said he is dharmbadh to chakravati samrat and everything.
2. So yudhishthir came up with an idea and he said sakuni to change the dice because he felt soemthing wring with the dice
So technically he was playing with rules. so playing with rules is considered as Dharm. That's what I think
@@anshwaghela3907 no don't connect dharm with it

Nice explanation 👍

Love the reveal
Buddhism is also part of Hinduism only.
When the Condition soul does not become completely free of material entanglement, he gets to take birth in a devotee home or go to the heavenly planet and wait there to assist Krishna in any of his missios in the material world until they are qualified to enter His eternal abode, full of bliss and happiness forever.

I like your channel and it's content. Its easy to understand and encourage us to know more about our religious Stories.
Very nice educational video
Yudhistra’s biggest sin was his attraction for Draupadi. He committed the sin of showing interest in another person’s spouse, that too his own brother’s girl. That is much bigger than all the good deeds he’s done
From what point should I start your videos. I am very must interested but confused
Lol, just fuck your stupid knowledge.
I didn't understand this logic just bcoz one died in battle field how his all sins were forgived they had done such a big sins like Draupadi cheerharan always used wrong way and used people betrayed their own brothers and relatives how dies all the sins were forgived??
I like this channel but one thing really irritates me… why you add ‘aa’ after each name? Udhistiraa, swarg lokaa, duryodhanaa…please speak names as we do in our language.. we don’t need to distort names when we speak English….
💯💯💯💯
Nice ending
Good video. 👍
Story is known to everyone... But please do some justice with good narration... Sadguru narration is so much powerful...
While we always strive to do our best, we're sorry this was not good enough for you.
Hopefully someday we will be able to deliver content that impresses your standards.
Thanks for prompt reply... I really like the way u expressed...what I felt is
1) Please go slow while narrating .. It felt is was fast like any other story.
2) Include pauses in between so that people can soak in emotions and perspective Spoken by the narrator
Jai Mahadev Jai Srimannarayana

There are multiple sub plots and immense intricacies that go on, throughout.
They asked for the forgiveness from lord Krishna unlike Karna and Kauravas who never said sorry to Draupadi for their wrong doings for at even once.
nah kauravas are like islam... anti dharma. they shouldnt be allowed nirvana or moksha or any of that!!
also odd arjuna suffered in hell cuz lord krishna promised him to free of sin if he obeyed him and became his devotee? so i guess arjuna wasn't truly committed to lord krishna. how sad.
music in background mam pls
I was so focussed I couldn't believe👍👍
Vry peaceful explanation 🙆🏽♀️🌺👏👏👏👍🏻
Absolutely brilliant.
Is Hindu saga is available in hindi....
Transcend is the song that has been playing in every video
Excellent narrative ❤ Chandam brajachand Manipur
Well explained!
Do you know under which English Grammar rule Yudhisthir is called Yudhisthir"a"?
King kuru had been granted a blessing that whoever dies on the battlefield of kuru will go to heaven...thus Kauravas go to heaven.
Arjuna is Krishna eternal friend.
Krishna and his personal associates may sometimes act like they are just normal human beings and in the process, offend or commit some sinful activities, but these activities or past times are done the teach us a lesson.
that is why it is necessary for the conditional soul to approach to approach a bona fide teacher for guidance.
God your videos are informative and soothing....but please fix the sound.....it feels like needles in the ears sometimes........please improve audio
Hence proved everywhere corruption exist .
Agreed
Hii can you please make a video on moksha. I mean what is moksha in this life and how is it to be portrait
I also highlighted in a different forum, that rather than during the war, Krishna should have used his abracadabra during the game. But then again, he is the one who wanted the war first & foremost.
@@ranggayah1815 Mind your language u fool.... Who are you to call the supreme God a "master manipulator" without even reading the scriptures in the first place? In *_KaliYuga_* the master MANIPULATOR will not be worshipped as the God by you people who already got influenced and entered into darkness by the KaliYuga himself.....That's why you are calling your creator God almighty as the master manipulator. Understand?
Just think about it, what's wrong in being a manipulator against the culprits to serve justice to the innocent by punishing them? The God who created everyone and everything, why can't he give the *results* of everyone's KARMA which is his job to do? 😡😡😡
Do you even understand the concept of God to know about why he take Avatars to teach us the Dharma (the duty of righteousness) over wrong doings? Go and read your scriptures before you comment because you are giving wrong false information about lord Krishna.
@@ranggayah1815 Why are you giving false information about supreme God Krishna? Do you think everyone is illíterateee like you who never read the scriptures of Mahabharata? SHOW me where it's written in Mahabharata that lord Krishna wanted the WAR ??
Lord Krishna is the one who went to Kauravas to STOP the war, but Duryodhana refused his proposal, so what lord Krishna would do afterwards? He already WARNED Duryodhana about Mahabharata war, but Duryodhana was full of himself as he was the one who was being desperate for the war against Pandavas. So you have no right to say such nonsence that lord Krishna should have used his abracadabra during the game. Because he can't, as Yudhishthir did not invited him in the game. And hence what makes you think that he is the one who wanted the war first & foremost? Are you dúmb?
@@jaydutta7711 the same god who said live your dharma imperfectly exactly opposite to the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Great story 👍👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it
Ajay Singh; A fairytale based on mithya.
We enter heaven or hell as soul and not body as body is left on earth, then how come blood was oozing out?
Pandavas did not go to hell. It was just Yudhishthira who saw it, just because he doubted the words of Krishna while saying "Ashwaththamo Hataha".And Yudhishthira is Avatar of Dharma, how can he become a sinner. It is Duryodhana who has done all foul plays and is responsible for deaths of all Kauravas and Supporters of Pandavas. All Pandavas are supreme beings while in Kaurava's except some great people, all are most damned and condemned people.
the only decent comment here.
Durodhyan had some good qualities. he trusted Karna. he did not look down at him because of his caste and gave Karna a kingdom of his own.
@@rohanraghuram9635 Duryodhana itself means the worst warrior. How can you accredit him with qualities? And when it comes to trusting Karna, if he trusted Karna that much then he wouldn't have let Bhishma continue Senadhipatya, when he insulted Karna!!
And who told you that they went to hell and heaven?
Were the Pandavas sent to hell for a long time? and were they ever released from hell.
It was his dream/lie/false reality to amend for his one sin that he lied to dronacharya
